Everything Can Be Overcome
Posted 11 years agoThis journal is using an example of something that just happened to an associate of mine, to show a rather powerful point. We've all had one of his problems: the break-up. The one that gets away and makes us want to throw our hands in the air and say,"I QUIT ON LOVE!!" The one you call a friend for advice and support. During his tears and screams, he looked at me and begged me to fix his situation. I couldn't get his girlfriend back, and I couldn't take away his pain, so instead, I went and turned on some break-up music. At first he just cried, but soon he was singing along and eventually we turned on some dance music, called over a few friends, and had a small get together. So what is the point of this? During all of this, he rambled about how this could never be overcome, how he'd never be able to smile again. And yet, with time and a little music, he was smiling. It's a small example, but I felt the need to journal this. I've seen many people grow sad and hurt, some depressed to the point of needing help, and I myself understand that feeling of, "It'll never be better." But, everything is capable of being overcome. There is an answer, even if you may not see it. How do you get it? I can't answer that for everyone, but I do know that you can defeat your demons, and you can smile another day, but you just need time. So for all of you who read this and are currently down, I'd like to say your not out. There is something left to fight with, to fight for, all you have to do is look for it.
