I can honestly say, I've never been so concerned with passing certain courses in school since I took math in H,S, which was four years ago for me. So, it's been a while. But, I'm back in business. I'm so appreciative that you guys were so patient with me, you all had the option to leave your place in the commission list because of my extended absence, but stayed anyway. So, thank you. This first semester was like learning to walk all over again, everything was so foreign and new, went from drawing for most of my post-secondary schooling, to just pointing and clicking, graphs and numbers...But, I'm slowly starting to get the hang of it. I've taken a few days to rest up, but I'm going to start getting those commissions done for you guys. I'm a little rusty, since it's been so long since I've drawn, but gonna get back into the groove of things. It's nice to be back ^^

I'm struggling, struggling a lot. I could go into the multitude of things that have flipped my life upside-down for the past few months, but I'm too tired. Anyway, I haven't posted much at all since I started school and my commissions are making slow progress. So, for those who have commission slots; and who haven't already paid(I think it's only two people), you can drop out of the list. I feel absolutely guilty for making people wait this long for commissions, I mean, I know I'm usually slow, but this to me is ridiculous and I hate to make you guys wait this long. So, if you note me and want to drop out of the list, that's okay. I honestly don't think I'll be able to get the whole list done until I finish my semester in early December. I'm barely keeping up with school...Just in unfamiliar territory and unlike my first few years of college, this final year involves little to no drawing, so it's harder to fit in the time. Sweet baby jesus on toast! I just finished the first week and a half of my last year in school. Completely new stuff, after spending two years in traditional, hand drawn animation, we're now focusing on just 3D for the year. A lot of stuff to learn. Holy jeez, finally my second year is over. Kind of hard to believe I've only got one year left to go before I graduate. Well, luckily my area only had to deal without power for 2 days, some people won't have there's back for a few hours to a couple of days. Shit balls my house was freezing, it was -19 last night outside...Or something, not too sure. And it was dark, too. Anyway, I'm glad to be warm again and have light...and such.

I am writing this from my cellphone because here was a humungusaur ice storm last night, and the power is out all over the place. Especially in my area. Holy shit...crap. Whatever. Okay, so first semester will be up in about 3 weeks, then I'll be on break for about 3 weeks. Been very busy, haven't had much time to myself, but I'm learning more and becoming a better artist for it. My day off is coming up...I'm going to try and get a commission thing set-up, because a few people have been asking. But, the main thing I want to do is draw! I come home from work and my feet are swollen and angry and I'm tired, can't bring myself to draw. Most intensive summer job I've had(only summer job I've had). But, it'll be worth is when I get paid!

I'm still getting the hang of the job, but once I do, I'm hoping to not let it jeopardize my art time and energy any more. ToT
