UPDATE 2019 edition
Posted 6 years agoSo I've been gone from FA for over a year or so, Again...
Can't promise I'll be more active, but I'm here now to give an update
Life update:
I've been living in the same place for over 3 years now with my roomie and life is pretty good. No longer single, Found two amazing partners who love me very much. One is a furry I met at DGFurBowl earlier this year.
Work has moved downtown Chicago but still in the corporate security field.
Art update:
I've been getting back to drawing and painting (non furry) it feels great to do art again. Finally found my muse again in the form of a beautiful person who i love and adore. Really getting into watercolors now.
Furry:
I still help out & attend the Downers Grove Furry Bowling meetup.
Started helping out a few smaller meets as well as a consultant, taking up an active role as security liaison for the Lake Area Furs.
I plan on going to Midwest FurFest, got my hotel booked & badge registered already.

Taking a break from the fandom & LIFE UPDATE. Also MINECRAFT

I'm taking a lil break from the fandom for while. I just need to take a step back and focus of my life right now. So many life altering changes happened in 2014 (some happy/ some sad) and more to come this year. I should be moving again into my new home in May/June. It will feel nice to be living in a house again. More space for my Cat, Nyx to run free. Basically life is pretty fricking great & i want to focus of what's most important to me right now. (not saying you guys aren't important, you know what i mean, i have to do adult things for a while. lol)

a month! During the summer months we will be trying out having two meets a
month! If it works out well then we might keep twice a month!

My story:
My boyfriend chaz owed me rent money, so i figured since I've had people pay me before on Paypal (for rooms for conventions) I'd have him pay me that way.
So Chaz tried to pay me rent money this week and it frozen(limited) my Paypal account so I couldn't access the money and get the money into my bank account in time to pay rent due on 12/1.
Paypal needed me to, change my password, setup NEW security questions, and send in proof of address.
I sent them my state ID proving i was who i said i was, it shows my parent address though. So i sent them my speeding ticket i got in NY that was addressed to my HOME AVE residence.
They still had my account on hold. And it stated they needed a utility bill from me. Since all utility bills are under Chaz's name i do not have one under my name.
They also gave me the option of having them call my listed number to verify who i am. Problem is they will not call cell phone number, only land lines. i do not have one (who does anymore?)
Finally had to call Paypal myself and get this sorted out. They refunded the rent money to chaz ( unfortunately it will take 3-5 business days) and took the hold off my account (edit: wait no they didn't. Have to wait a week)
This still does not solve the issue of how rent or bills that we need to pay.
