Yes, I'm working again. Nine hour shifts, and about four hours of commute a day makes me one tired monkey. I don't have much time to myself any more, save weekends, which have been spent in dentist's offices, lately.

These things take about a day to do. My art computer is down, so I'll have to snap photos of the finished work instead.

This is why Google should have their own shipping company. Seriously. I've never seen them fuck something up so badly.

So, here's the basic story: Last week, I ordered a router from Tiger Direct, because I can't do artwork on this computer, and my art computer is having USB issues. Really, REALLY fickle issues. Basically, it's kind of in a cave right now.

$20 on Tiger for a quick delivery to fix the problem. The router should have gotten here on Monday, but it got delayed, and they didn't even try to deliver it until yesterday. I track shipping religiously, so I knew within 10 minutes of UPS deeming the package undeliverable because of an error (they forgot to put the flat number on the box). Big deal. I called and fixed the error, and the guy I talked to said that he'd have it rescheduled for delivery this morning. So, I got on to check the status, because, well, it would be nice to be able to use my computer and post some stuff that I owe people.

Guess what.

They shipped my router BACK to Illinois. WTF?

So, I called again. Apparently whoever was supposed to re-route the shipment wasn't paying attention.

So, now I have to wait for the damn thing to get BACK to the shipment facility in Illinois before they can fix it and send it back to me. I won't probably get it until the 4th now.

FAIL.


And to specify what USB issues are:

It has USB. Kind of. I have 12 ports but only certain ones are working, and those certain ports only seem to work with certain devices.

My scanner works, but I don't have the drivers to install it on this computer. Printer works, but it's out of ink. The tablet also works, but again... no drivers.

And I can't stick my flash drive into it and bring whatever I do over to this computer, because the only port that works with the flash drive is suddenly not working D:

Three people + One computer + network issues + job issues = not much time for art.

So, a few weeks ago, I was out with a few friends, looking at bones and stuff, and somebody wanted to look at the collection of baculum bones. I think the most interesting part of the collection was that the raccoons were bigger than the wolves and coyotes that they had (by a lot). Strange.

But, that got me thinking (yes, I think about penis bones when I get bored lol).

Please. If you really want something badly, the best way to get it from a stranger is not to be a cunt. I can understand desperately wanting to see a fic of something. Especially if no one else will do it/do it right. You should really be kind to the person you're requesting your smut from; not demanding and pushy.
