The amount of work I had recently (commissions aside huevembers, etc) really surprised me, and I wasn't able to complete all huevembers in advance, so I really apologize for caused delays - but I promise to send you everything right after we return home. I bet most of you aren't interested in the TL;DR personal part, so let me start from the very end!
I'm changing my prices very, very soon,] that is, on July 5th, Thursday. Before then, you can still get commissions for the old prices - and feel free to note me about this! - though I can't promise I'll start them on the same day, like I always do. So, anyway, I just wanted to apologize to all of my recent commissioners, because, yes, I've been overwhelmed, and thus, I was way slower than usual. 1 week deadlines that I'm usually setting for myself changed to 1 month ones. Why? I've been just really...really surprised by the attention my art's gotten recently??! I was literally accepting 1-3 commissions every day, for weeks. It made me feel really happy and satisfied, but on the other hand, I've had some personal problems, my depression's peaked, and i didn't even have a moment to just sit and rest, to focus on dealing with the personal stuff, or to draw something for myself, I've been working constantly, from 9 am to 12 pm, every day. This only made things worse, to the point where I realized something's /wrong/ only when i've gotten so sick I couldn't even sit, and I've tried to work in this state anyway... So, yeah, sorry for getting so personal here, I just felt you guys need to read this, as I've been apologizing to everyone for the past few weeks and I'm seriously really, really tired of that. I can't keep track of my inbox, invoices, or anything anymore, it's just way too much. So I have to reorganise my current format of work and just let myself rest a little bit.

That's basically why i need to rethink the way I'm treating PWYW commissions - I need to admit i've undercharged a -lot- of those commissions, and working hard to be as flexible and open as possible made me begin to hate art again. No one wants that! So, yeah, I just need to set some more strict rules for these - to ensure that both you and I am satisfied and comfortable with the provided service.

I could go like this for hours, but hey, I believe it's pretty TL;DR anyway. Thank you all for understanding, thanks for commissioning, and remember there's still a chance to get stuff of the old prices!

Ok, so next Sunday I'm 1. Adopting a dog 2. Beginning to move out and renovating my flat.

That means MONTHS of chaos, so my style of work will surely change now. But most of all, the first month will be really intense because I'll have to run between 2 places - thus I'm going to stream more rarely, for a shorter time, AND I'll focus on traditional art and mixed media!

Life update starts here

There's been some huge changes in my life, and so my work here changes a lot as well. I understand most of you aren't interested in my private matters, though, so I'm putting the tl;dr at the end of the journal! You can totally ignore that, i just wanted to write it for folks that could be interested in reasons behind some changes.

So basically, starting now, I'm a full-time freelance artist? Furry artist, yes. Nothing's changed in that matter, I'm not working for any studio or anything. So I just wanted to thank my commissioners again for letting me pay my bills and everything with what I'm creating here!

What might interest you the most is that I'm going to change some of my prices because of that. I hope you understand! These changes won't be big, just adding a few dollars to some types of commissions, so I hope it won't affect you much, but it'll change things a lot for me. I'm going to add these changes on February 10th. Before then, you can order anything for the current prices! I just didn't want to make these changes without a warning.

Oh, also one more thing, as I'm getting a TON of asks about it recently. I do not post all of my commissions now, you're right. It absolutely doesn't mean I didn't try my best with your drawing, or that I don't like it, or whatever. Just please note I draw for about 10-12 hours a day. I often finish a few works a day. Just imagine the spam it would've caused here! :"D so I simply can't post everything. Even now I have a queue of at least 20 works I really want to submit, some are from October or even earlier! But I know I can't post too much at once - such spam annoys me as well, so why would I! So if I don't post your drawing - I don't mind a suggestion to do it, but recieving asks like "why didn't you do it yet" stress me out a little bit, as I seriously get a lot. Of these. And I really have to balance between posting too much and ~just right~ : D

Another one I get a lot. Sorry, but I don't stream traditional art commissions, at least for now! If you order a mixed media commission, I can show the finished traditional sketch to you and then stream the coloring process. I just don't have proper tools for traditional streaming now!

And here's the tl;dr part that might be nothing new for my Patrons and Twitter followers: I'm leaving university for one year. It's a huge change to me, and I'm scared, but also feel very excited about the new opportunities. I'm doing it to focus on my work, but most of all, on my health, physical and mental. I've been overworking myself terribly this past year, my head and hand hurts all the time and it just didn't feel healthy to keep trying to do my best both with my work and university. Now I can arrange my schedule better and rest when my body needs it. The other thing is that I've hit massive depression, I've been depressed for many years, most of my life probably, but recently things got absolutely unbereable. I've been waiting for a therapy for a few years now, and it seems it'll finally start soon, so wish me luck, guys. I need a good therapist and better meds so badly now.
So yeah, I'm just going to stay at home, focus on my work and health, and then I might finally have a chance to move to the flat i kept talking about. I can almost afford a heater for it, yaaay! Seriously, if things are going to work out, it's going to be a challenging, but also a very exciting year. Let's hope for the best.
I won't draw much traditional art this year probably, and that's connected to university as well. After 9 years of studying I'm burn out and need to focus on digital art. I definitely won't make any oil paintings for the next few months, maybe even a year! I'm just so slow with these recently.

The last 2 weeks were HELL, sorry for my inactivity, it'll change. Most of my exams will take place during the next 3 days (wish me luck ;_; ), the one traditional painting I still need to finish is almost ready, so then I'll have ~clear account~ and stuff, also I'll spend lots of time at home, so I'll be working on commissions and streaming a lot!

As it's January already, I need to say I'm going to be quite busy at the end of the month/on the beginning of February, so if you're hoping for a Valentine's Day commission, it's better to reserve a slot already, especially if you're interested in traditional art! I was going to take 2 days off (art wise, but not paperwork wise, haha) for the first time in forever, but this ain't happening. I got super sick, to the point I'm not sure if I'll be able to write a logic sentence in the morning, eeeh. And i sure can't draw right now. I have some commissions I wanted to finish before Christmas and I'll really do my best to send them tomorrow. Then... I really don't know what then, but I'd like to apologize in advance and beg you all for patience. I'm seriously freaking out rn because it really is no time for getting sick.... I'll really do my best to return soon, tho, to reply notes, finish commisions, etc. I'm so sorry. And I really hope you guys will understand. Please have fingers crossed for me, I really am going to have problems if I won't recover soon... Heck. Heck. I'm afraid, tbh

Hello guys!

Just a short update, as a lot of stuff is happening because of the holiday season.

First of all, everyone waiting for WIPs and other updates! If I didn't send you one today, you'll be getting it tomorrow (that works for all digital commissions at least! There will be updates on paintings very soon too!) - I've been busy with school during the past few days, but now I finally have my PC back, and I swear, I'm working all the time! : D

This is also a good ocassion for a gentle reminder- if you'd like to get a commission before Christmas, I'd reaaally advise to ask for one this weekend. The personal part of journal will be short because I didn't even plan to include it here, I just wanted a boost for the commission offer, haha. Anyway. I. I think I won't be able to make any other comment on the pronoun drama, it....it costs me a bit too much, I don't know how to respond anyway. So I'm super, very, very sorry to anyone who told me something positive and helped me out there. I'm definitely going to read everything once I feel a bit better (life's been a mess recently even without it), but like i said, I'm not sure if I'll respond, because I don't know why. So I just wanted to say your support means a world to me and you guys are awesome. Thank you so much, everyone who supported me there. I can't believe how amazing you are. I didn't expect any response at all, negative or positive....so I need some time to sort things out in my head. And while we're at it, sorry in advance for my inactivity for the next few weeks, i generally need some quiet time right now. Life can be tough sometimes, and it sure is recently, haha. So sorry for making that picture and this journal so personal and emo...that sure isn't what I've planned, hah.

I miss working in color a little bit. Thus I thought of a way to mix that and the current inktober project!

For the next 4 days I will be open for floral portraits and icons. The first type of commission is always based on traditional sketch, but these are going to be more fancy and ink based. And so will be the icons! You'll be getting two works, basically, and the traditional piece will be available for shipping too. (though it's totally not mandatory!)
