Shit.. how am I going to do this..
Verizon may be canceling because of comcast's order to come on friday to instal. Comcast may not come on friday because of the debt my mother gave to me in my name.. I have three days to come up with the correct amount of cash before then.. or else I might not be heard from for a very very long time. Shit shit shit... okay... let's see. 118.62 in two payments. I have very little cash after paying off the verizon delinquancy.. that might stop them from shutting off the net tonght..
118.64 I can do, but I will be broke.. Need to think through this logically..

Posted 14 years agoI can't get Comcast :X Apparently my mother used both my name and social security number years back to get Comcast and now I have amassed the massive debt of 456 dollars in unpaid bills that were hers. Since she used my name and social, I have inherited said debt..

More net problems

He checked everything and did a wonderful job. It appears to be more than what I thought. It isn't the computer, it isn't the modem, it's the verizon company itself. I don't know how long I can continue to hold a connection like this. Know that friday is soon approaching, and soon I will have a good service.
Sadly I couldn't cashmy check todayh, insuring that the net will stay on. I lose service tomorrow... unless I can quickly go to the bank in the mornign to sort this out. Either way I'm pretty fucked in terms of having somthing to do until friday.. Suppose I can keep practicing art and renting monty python vids from the library.. and actually picking up a good book.
This just really sucks. I dunno why I've come so dependant on the net to talk with others..

NET EXPERTS UNITE.
Posted 14 years agoOkay I'm at my wits end, and I need aid in figuring out what the hell is going on. Let me start from the beginning:
Net was disconnected due to delinquent payment on bill.
I called and asked for an extension and they agreed to reopen my net connection until tuesday, when I can pay it off.
Ever since then my net periodically drops for about 30 secs to a minute. I called verizon multiple times since then and they opened a trouble ticket to figure out what was wrong. They made me run through the whole gauntlet of tests on my end such as checking the phone chords, etc. They also tested the connection on their end and each time came up perfect except for one 'bad signal' moment. So they attempted to 'repair' it over the next 24 hours or so.
Next day or two later it still happens.. not sure what's going on. I find it funny that it happened JUST as they re-established my net connection.. it HAS to be their fault... right?
(Update) I did something I prolly shoulda done the night they re-opened the connection, unplugging all the wires and waiting a bit, then connecting them back into the modem. Now to sit and wait..)

Posted 14 years agoHaven't been sleeping all that much. Things kind blurring together, time passing noticeably fast since I don't pay attention to clocks. Can kind of feel gradual erosion in my head like a weak acid.

Posted 14 years agoWent from four solid days of work to four with decreased hours. Welt to ask my boss what the heck and his answer was simply "I'm giving your hours to someone more deserving of them."
Noooot really sure how I'm supposed to take that :X Aparently he cuts my hours because when my schedule ends, I tend to do something that happens naturally, I prepare to leave when it's not overly busy. I've asked him for more ours to add onto my sched, like more workdays... buuut he keeps cutting them.
I want something very bad to happen to that man.

Posted 14 years agoIt has come to my attention that the only thing holding me back from improving in an artistic sense was myself.
Been kinda doing the whole contrast comparison thing with other artists and their own art, etc.. but then I remembered one person.. and then I began to feel tons better. I remembered the legendary director Ed Wood, one of the worst writers and directors. He did such movies as Plan nine from outer space, glen or glenda, and bride of the monster.
One thing all these movies had in common was that they were quite bad indeed, but he absolutely loved making them! That's what inspires me. This man did what he did because he enjoyed doing it. I should do the same. Drawing because I enjoy drawing and find my own style.

Posted 14 years agoJust notes of a location in a dream just now that was interesting, might draw later.. perhaps some significance? So tired but felt the need to write it. For some reason I don't want to forget it..
An old house, large, many rooms.. though not complete, as if abandoned during it's construction so close to it's completion?Tiled floors cracked and neglected, cracked with many missing. Walls ending in half jagged, foreign angles, haphazard and dirty, semi transparrent tarps lazily stapled over the massive gaps. Couldn't help but wonder why it was left this way.
Rain was pelting against the windows and tarps in the room I was in, the rain had a sea salt smell to it, the floor was rather wet from the rain soaking under the flapping plastic everywhere.. leaves sticking to the floor here and there. Weirdly enough there was a child's big-wheel in the middle of the room. My skin fel cold and wet.
It was strange. I felt a sense of genuine nostalgia like you get being in a fammiliar place.

Posted 14 years agoI'm thinking of doing something to further encourage my practice of art and do one of those things that everyone does :U A line-art stencil cutout thing of a weird face meme thing but make it like their character.
