January 18th, my cat in Chile, finally passed after being 1 week surviving kidney disease.

I can't help to feel very sad for not being there in her last years of health, but I don't regret leaving Chile because it was for my future.

I will not be seeing my kitty once I go back home, that's a heart breaking feeling.

I always loved you, espero que nos veamos denuevo, algun dia.

So, I have seen this around now, and it is quite the shame from people who take commissions.

If you get paid to do some art work, you better do it, in a proper time, etc, it is so disrespectful to not finish a paid job, specially since you getting paid out of trust in advance.

Also, if you are paying, you have the right to ask for progress in a rational manner, having in mind that the artist will honor the time frame that was pre set at the time of payments.

It is infuriating to see people steal money from others who appreciate your work well enough to support you even further by answering to your "open for commissions" call.

Edit: I would like to add, this is due to external things I have seen around, nothing directed to anybody nor my own experience :]

as for bad news...

My kitty in Chile, she is sick and she will probably pass away, it's been hard to accept this but I am prepared for that, I just hope she knows I always had her in my heart.

What a new year, I am happy I am still here, I am sad for some others, but life is like that and we have to live it!

I would like to share some of what's going on right now.

There's a final project due in 2 weeks, it consists of a game, with proper game play, mechanics and what not.

Allow me to say this also! I am a Programmer, a coder, a logical soulless creature. In the meaning that I am not an visual artist,what I want to say that I do not want to be an artist for a living, reasons?

Art is a hobby for me, art was to express some things I wanted to, art is still one of the things that comes rarely to me, and there's a reason why I do not draw anymore, only once in a while... Art was a way of coping with a void, I so remarkably spent day and night drawing just to make my perfect world something tangible, intimate and somewhat innocent.

Ever since I got to be with Ruick, my life has changed drastically, in two meanings, I no longer required to draw to fill a void, I no longer had close friends for some weird reason. Am I at fault for not being social? I once actually tried to explain why I didn't want to go to IMs.

I didn't want to get expose again to what happened after I came to Canada, that's gonna be almost 3 years ago now.

Do I miss how it was before? yes I do, I used to wonder if it was easy for them to let me go like that, after all, bonds are hard to break, no?

I must confess though, I don't make many phone calls, I never check my email, I always ponder about sending a message to someone, feeling that I am guilty for the disconnection but I never end up doing so, and then I keep thinking, what about the other end? are they tired of waiting for something or they just simply can't be bother?

It is a lonely thought, and here I am, trying to implement code into my life, trying to be logical about things, wondering if this is going somewhere.

Some things will just stay with me, and I grow up a little bit a day, I do not regret things cause you always get the best of everything that happens to you, or to somebody else, but sometimes you wish you just could go back and don't really have to learn what you have, or at least apply something you have recently learn to make things different, but maybe that's also not the best solution, and goes on and on.

Right now, I would like to fix things but I just can't find the way, so I will just go in my life, and try to make my old man proud, my mom happy, help Ruick with his promise and in the way figure out as I keep learning.

So what I wanted to explain is that, I am busy with college, like... a lot. Oh and also why I am never around~ cya guys.

I had to work today and it was Thanks giving, in Canada, it wasn't bad but I didn't know until the last moment, oh well! extra pay for the holiday =]

I recently got Photoshop CS5, I love it but it hates my scanner, so I am using the default Scanner software to scan my stuffs... not to bad, I have a couple of drawings ready to ink and what not, sketches of the comic =]

My cat got a new bigger bowl for his water, we bought one of those that you put a big bottle of water upside down and refills itself when needed... well it seems no bottles will fit there but it doesn't matter cause my cat starts splashing the water out of the bowl, cause apparently the water is fresher when he slaps the crap out of it .___., so now my carpet is all wet :p. joy! I love mah kitty <3

College is being great, excited about the stuffs coming my way, and I will be getting my new computer very soon, very excited ^^!

Just finished a terrible shift, under staff, me alone in kitchen with just a manager, more than 1 hundred customers, pending up to 14 orders in the screen, crazy orders of extremely customized items...

I got a Job at McDonalds, which is great cause I really want to bump up my life style back to what it used to be (I like to eat good <3!)

I am extremely happy cause everything is going to perfect right now, not just for me, also for Ruick, for my parents and for some of my buddies.

I also got the job at a wine store, the manager was very troubled when I told him I got a job as well in McDonalds, since I took a wine course and I come from a rich wine culture, and we kind of became buds :p, so I asked him to not get rid of my resume cause I might want to transfer once college starts, depending on how demanding McDonalds might be, either way, I am going to be employed <3!

A little update on Bod/Kanon, I am waiting to get my new tablet in order to go all out and draw the new chapter, my parents are treating me (YES! <3) a Cintiq for my good performance in college, I am extremely lucky to have parents like them, not because they get me expensive stuff that I would be never be able to afford on my own :p, but because they love me and they love Ruick and they support us oh so very much, thanks to them I can say I am happy =]! anyways, I do have a good idea of what I am going to be drawing, but I beg you patience cause it will take me months for sure, I am lazy XD, and easily distracted with Ragnarok Online.

I am doing a couple of strips more and that will conclude the first chapter of my comic, after that I will take a break to actually think properly in a story and come up with something not in the spot like I have been doing it so far.

Hello guys, Ruick and I we will be moving to a place closer to the college, so we don't have to take 2 buses to get to school anymore, which is great~

I also want to thank  mahun soooo much for his quick and awesome respond, we got some problems with TL's end, this was going to make him not being able to come to Ottawa to help us, but gladly it got resolved, still, I asked Mahun if he could possibly help us in case TL didn't make it, he was such a dear and got Scott to agree on helping us move, Mahun, Brent and Scott now, you guys are awesome :D

I really really really really really really hate, despise, repulse, dislike, detest, scorn, etc~, hot weather Dx


I can't sleep with the suffocating warmness, not even my AC does much for it, since it's in the living room and not in our bedroom...

Also, I have been playing Magna carta 2, a lot.
I despise their GUI and I am very critical on how they dealt with the battle system, such potential but they didn't make it quite the way I would've enjoyed, mainly because of the horrible stamina bar system they have... I strongly prefer an attack speed system which allows more dynamism and a faster paced Real Time Action RPG, plus their AI is almost nonexistent.

I like the game so far though, a very good cliche, and the quests are not so horribly difficult and discouraging that would make you cry, plus they didn't discard the grinding factor like other games that make killing creatures so freaking pointless that you just evade those bad ass looking monsters and go on with your quests (BorderLands! DX!!!!)

I am looking for more research since it seems the developing team (Ruick, Mister B. "classmate", and I... lol) is inclining to make an RPG "attempt" with XNA (Microsoft Indie Games).

Any good or bad (yes, I need to see what to avoid) RPGs out there that would help in my research in your opinion?

I am looking for game titles for the PS2, Xbox 360, Wii.

Rpgs, any kind of battle system, no FFs, I played them all.
