Now that Daylight Saving Time, Halloween, Pocky/ Singles Day and Father´s Day (in European countries) has passed away for this year, time to make a little journal.
Sorry for not being able to do this earlier, but the beginning of November has been bit hectic and busy irl.

I was in trainee period at local recycling center for 8 days and unfortunately that was all I was able to be there. Reason for that was that the organization which owns the recycling center, closes at the end of December.
So they weren´t able to give more time for me to work there, which was unfortunate, but still I enjoyed the short trainee period time still.

Last weekend I was visiting my red and blue striped tiger lil bro,  vince_bloodwing at Helsinki, had great time overall and went for Final Fantasy 7 piano concert called "Melodies of Timestream".
It was my very first time that I have been in a video game concert and I honestly haven´t got chance to play FFVII before, but the pianist was excellent overall and audience really enjoyed for the concert a lot ^^

I started uploading the EF 22 photoshoot photos, currently there´s 4 photos and tomorrow I´ll be posting 4 more.
When I saw the EF 22 photoshoot photos uploaded on EF´s page, I was excited to see how this lion´s photos came up and it turned out that I like all of 8 photos there is ^^

Also, only 8 days for release of Pokemon Sun and Moon (that´s in rest of the world, as US and Japan gets it 5 days advanced).
I got both games, Sun will be coming as Fan Edition and Moon I downloaded from eShop , which had Quick Ball gift for pre-purchase.

Anyways, I hope you guys had great start for the November ^^

Sorry for silence, life started to have some twists and turns, but now it is starting to calm down hopefully.

Drawings are coming along good as well as I have been walking around the autumn chill Tampere lately.

October started really great way, thanks to my red and blue striped tiger bro from Helsinki  vince_bloodwing, who was kind enough and got me ticket for Poets of the Fall´s concert at 1st of October.
Before the concert we went to go to see "Boy and the Beast" in movie theater, which was a great movie in my opinion.
The concert was totally awesome as I never have seen Poets of the Fall´s full concerts before this (been in free concert event where they performed couple of their songs during the event).

Hi there guys, it´s Jake Lioner here!

Summer is closer to be over for 2016 and slowly we´ll get back into darker daytime here in Finland.
But anyways, let´s not get the autumn depression now and just get on this update.

Last weekend (3rd-4th of September) I was in local anime convention called Tracon XI (11).
This year there was a lot of furs at furmeet, even people who I haven´t seen before.
Sadly I wasn´t able to take any photos, even though I originally was planning to take my selfie stick with me and take photos of furs at furmeet and also some general convention photos from venue etc. while being out of suit.
Need to practice more with using my selfie stick while I´m suiting.

Also I was planning to make an Instagram profiles for the convention photos and maybe also for general photos at some point.
Would it be good or bad idea? I´m still considering the idea and I know it will take some time to get it work :3


There will be another journal coming up soon as I have some promotions (one of my own and one of my bf) which I wanted to make in separate journal so this journal won´t be too long.

I got back from Eurofurence 22 yesterday and weekend was well needed, even though it was too short and it went like super fast.

I was mostly spending time with @Karmakat, Zura_Rozier and xwuffy but I also roamed between dealer´s den and room, also Zura and Wuffy took me to in a great ramen and chinese restaurants during the weekend ^^
This time I was able to attend to the Big Blue Dance (since last time in EF 20 it got extremely delayed because of stuff) and it was lots of fun, stayed up like 3am on Sunday morning.
Suiting sessions during EF were a little bit short, it has been some while that I have suited after previous con trip, but hopefully I get improve the suiting duration somehow ^//^

Had a lots of fun at Fursuit Photoshoot this year, I can´t wait to see how the pictures will look like ^^

Add on note 23th of August: I was almost forgot to mention that I was able to meet some great people during the weekend *blushes* And I´m hugely sorry if I forgot the names for some of new people too, this lion has a bad memory ^//^
Anyways, I got to meet alessthetiger in person after loooooooong wait and he´s really sweet and awesome guy.
Also I found few of Finnish fur friends and @Argentfang, I heard that there was also few other my bf´s local friends at the EF :3


And as the Eurofurence trip is now done, I´ll slowly get back with normal life routines aka trying to get back on gym routines, hopefully draw bit more and look for a job.
But next con adventures will be at Tracon 11 at 3rd and 4th of September.

Lately I´ve been trying to wonder when will be my next abroad con adventure, I hopefully will be able to do that soon.

It´s that time of the year again, meaning in 2 days it´s my another year anniversary of when I found FA and the furry fandom. Can´t believe that it is already 7 years of being in fandom overall, time flies so fast ^^
I´m not sure will I able to draw something special for the special day, but hopefully not long after that at least, I´m sure there will be something to celebrate the one mile stone of 7th furryversary x3

Eurofurence 22
As you noticed from my previous journal, I´ll be at Eurofurence this year.
But unfortunately it will be a really quick visit, because the hotel room is for the Friday-Sunday parts of the con.

Even though my con visit will be short, I hope to make my best to get an great weekend and catch up with friends plus meet new people as well ^^

Behind the scenes on general
(This next part will be a bit long, cause of quite a lot of thought releasing stuff and personal stuff, so if you´re not a fan of that kind of stuff you can skip that)
First of all, I´m hugely sorry for lack of the new arts during this year. I´m slowly getting back with drawing, because I really feel like I need that with all the stuff that is happening behind the scenes of this lion´s life.
There´s one commission for  leonardliono coming up, something for the 4th of August and I really want to give a try for UTGP2017 aka Nintendo´s and Uniqlo´s t-shirt design contest, also I really want to get back with drawing in general.

Over an half of the year, I have been stressing myself A LOT with finding a job and worrying about when I find one interesting, I start to think "Am I good enough for this job?" or find somethings that I have no profession for it or some other reasons (like for example, I don´t own a car and drivers licence, so jobs with need of car -> I unfortunately skip it).
I know that people say that I would narrow my options and chances to get a job by doing this, but sometimes I feel like I´m doing that because I´m really careful of my choices.
I admit that I want things has to go well and without something failing, last year from fall 2015 to January 2016 I was in a trainee period and I loved that a lot to be back on work life again (even though it was a trainee period, but still).

After trainee period was ended, I was having a huge boost to look for a job so I could get some work experience and it would help financially as well.
But as the weeks went on and I got either no replies or just nothing from the jobs I applied, that boost started to turn against me.
Yesterday when I was in a last meeting with my trainee period instructor, I got a slight stress attack when I was trying look for open jobs list with my instructor.
After the meeting, I was feeling so ashamed and worried about how I acted that way and it effected on rest of the day and I slowly recovered from that.

I know that I should keep on looking for new jobs and apply for those, and if they say no or just don´t reply with any matter, just ignore that and move on since the situation on job market is what it is currently in Finland... but the problem is that I´m still learning to not take the turn downs as a personal attack or something like that.
I can prove that I´m hard-working, trustworthy guy at work, who does everything I need to do. Just that it´s bit difficult to me to get the boss of the workplace consider hiring me amount of many others.
Like I get stomped under the more bigger and "louder" persons, I more want my work and efford in rl situations showcase what I can do instead saying "I can do this, this and that ect.".
Even though, this will be a quite a rocky road to walk on, I´m hoping that I could learn to become a better person and overcome the doubts and worries which controls me atm for getting a job.
And I personally want to thank for all people who has there for me while I have felt really bad, because I really don´t know that I would do without you guys.

I´m having my hopes high that things will get better with work hunting aspect soon.

Now that the emotional part is now passed from this journal, I have been playing Pokemon Go a lot since it was officially released 16th of July in Finland and so far I got my trainer level 24, there´s 94 Pokemon on my Pokedex and as I had a Twitter poll about asking which team I would join in Pokemon Go, I became as member of Team Mystic.
So far, I like the game a lot, it got me go outside and walk more plus making my daily goal for 10k steps even more possible to do (depending how long walks I will make and I´m mood for, of course). And even though it seems like the other teams (Valor and Instinct) seem to be more active, when comes to claim gyms from Mystic (like the gym I hold on is gone to other team almost instantly)...that doesn´t bother me as much as it was while I was playing Ingress (the previous game from Niantic).
While playing Pokemon Go, I could see a lot of local Pokemon Go players gathering around in neighbour city´s playground which has 4 Pokestops and I got chance to talk a little with other players too.
I definitely can say that game does help to gather people together and make friends even better ^^
(I´m sure that Ingress made the same thing based on all those event photos around the world I saw, but I could experience that with Pokemon Go by myself)

I´m definitely looking forward to see how this game will come along as well as Pokemon Sun and Moon, which starts to make my hype levels going overdrive with each new bits Game Freak shares.
It´s now obviously confirmed that Donald Trump Jr. and Donald Trump has turned into Alola region pokemons (I´m looking at you, Yangoos and Gumshoos) and I start to think all the Wonder Trades with Trump named pokemons x3 *facepalms and chuckles*
After all of the info which was released yesterday, I can´t wait to see what will come up next. Next news bit will come at 12th of August and usually there might be something for Pokemon World Championships (like in 2013, they showcased Mega Kangaskhan for X and Y, in 2014, Mega Slowbro for ORAS and 2015 they announced Pokken Tournament coming to Wii U), so this autumn will be interesting time to be a Pokemon fan.

Hey there guys,

this time I´ll make a quick update journal comparing with the one I had previously.

Last couple of days, I managed to work on with 2 sketches and currently I´m working one of them (so far it´s in lineart level progress).
I´ll post both of the drawings once I manage to get them finished and done.


Also.. Anthrocon is next week and yay...not going!!!
First year since 2011 I´m skipping AC and I wish that I would have been able to there, but I had to skip for "possible job opportunities" (which haven´t came up, still job hunting is in progress :c).
But yeah, hopefully next year will be a better chance to go.

As second day of June starts on my side, I was thinking about the plans what to do this month.
This is also my little update for what is going on with my life.

DRAWING:
I apologize that I haven´t drawn so much lately, but I´m making my best to get that missing drawing bug back to me asap.
Really missing a lot for drawing, so here´s what I have been brainstorming lately:

I´m gonna work on new art this month and kickstart my commissions on FA, there will be also plans for starting commissions on Weasyl and Furry Network later.
Haven´t got so much updated my Weasyl account yet, but this will be on working progress as well and as FN will get the Commissions page fully open, then I´ll make some FN exclusive commissions :3

One thing I do wonder, should I do requests/trades to get that arting boost back on and then make some examples for commissions or what I should do?
Since I personally know that even though making requests/trades sounds tempting idea, but I do need some money for living and paying bills.


GYM AND TAKING SOME TIME FOR MYSELF:
I´m planning to make myself more active with workouts starting this month, even taking long walks outside (specially during beautiful sunny days).
The workouts and getting healthier lifestyle has been my like endless projects, which has had a lot of struggling, but I´m doing my very best to make these as part of my completed day instead of sitting whole day in front of laptop or indoors.
Also I´m trying my best to take some time for myself, like getting new arts done, read a book or watch some funny movie for example.
There´s so much books and movies I got and haven´t watched/read yet, so yes this will be changed starting this month as well.


CLEANING UP MY PLACE:
As I look around my home, I notice that shelfs are full of stuff and junk that needs to be cleaned up and organized. But this has gone far enough to hold up, so this is on my list of getting home in great shape while taking time for myself too.


So yeah, in short.. This lion´s life has been not so organized lately, but it should get back to the right direction again ^^

Now as this lion´s voice fully returned after suffering voice losing and flu last couple of weeks, I was able to enjoy fully for the weekend in Helsinki visiting my bro  vince_bloodwing.
Had lots of great times Saturday while having a good walk outside and visiting at Game of Thrones: The Hall of Faces exhibition. There was chances to see few things from the serie and get even photo taken while sitting on the famous throne.

And also this is a little update on my fursuit list as Gourry the Terrakion suit got a new owner this weekend.
As I noticed that I have overgrown (in other words, I got too fat) from the suit, I wasn´t able to wear it some while now.
So I decided that selling Gourry suit would be better idea than storing it, even though I loved the suit a lot. (It was one of my wolf  hornetv2´s very first Pokemon fursuits he has done)

But luckily Gourry got new home from my bro  vince_bloodwing´s place, so if you see a big Terrakion roaming around somewhere, it won´t be me under the suit.

That´s right, Jake appears in  karmakat´s comic called "Omega Alliance book 3: The Holy Man" and this marvelous comic has been done by  nexus.

Yesterday I went to see Zootropolis for third time, but this time in Finnish dubbed version (Since that version still rolled in some theaters, so it seems like that the movie is starting to get ready for DVD and Blu-Ray releasing).

So what I noticed that the Finnish version was actually good without feeling like that I couldn´t stand the voice acting.
Even though some jokes from the movie didn´t delivered as good as in English or example Chief Bogo sounded bit softer in Finnish, those were just small details which didn´t ruined the experience I had already about the movie.
And thank goodness that Finnish version didn´t translated "Try Everything" song in Finnish, unlike Japan and Korea did as they translated that song in their native languages.

I simply can´t wait to get this movie as DVD ^^


As my life update, I thank you all so much for new watches and lots of faves with my gallery. Also this lion needs apologize for the lack of art lately.
I´m slowly trying to get back on arting as I try to get my life back into better again, really hoping to get a job and get back with gym workouts again.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who wished happy birthday last Saturday.
I was getting many birthday wishes all over the FA/Facebook/Twitter that my whole day went by answering them, you guys made my big birthday great ^^

As today is the day which everyone has waited for, release of the Pokken Tournament on Wii U!

I suggest you to download the demo first so you could get a little hang on with mechanics before you´ll get the game, like I did ^^

I was thinking as I have checked out on my art I have done lately, is there anything that I need to improve with art?
Anatomy? Shading? Overall art style?

I noticed that I could use more constructive tips and feedback, since I noticed that usually after I haven´t drawn so much for a while and got back on drawing, it seems like I tend to make some small mistakes with drawing.
And I really want to draw pics for all of your enjoyment ^^

So what would be your suggestions? What I should work on more to improve myself artistically?
