Yes, I went to see it last Friday for premiere and yesterday for the second time x3
And I loved it, even more then I was while watching trailers and clips of the movie before the official premiere.

Definitely the best Disney movie since... dunno how long time x3

I was checking out a Nintendo Direct last night (yeah it came up on my side at Thursday/Friday midnight) and here´s a little opinion from that



Video was totally different comparing with USA version, with some differences with things to talk and shown.

Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard: The games are looking great and hopefully there won´t be any further delays coming up. Though I might get only Star Fox Zero x3
Splatoon and Super Mario Maker updates: Always great to hear that these games gets updated and receive more stuff to keep the gaming interesting ^^
Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games: Hmm I haven´t played this series games, I dunno, maybe at some point I might get this one.

Tokyo Mirage Sessons #FE: I have interested this game since it was presented last year (maybe it because I like Japan stuff a lot X3) , great thing that we finally managed to get western title of the game and the release date on this Direct. And the fact that game will have the original Japanese voice dub with English subtitles is a good add for the game and this is one of the games I´ll be getting this year for sure x3

Paper Mario: Color Splash, Hyrule Warriors: Legends and Yo-Kai Watch: Well these three games are on my skip list, sorry to say. Or maybe Paper Mario would be interesting to give a try, at least.
But Yo-kai Watch...Oh gosh what to say about Yo-Kai Watch...I tried to watch the anime with couple of episodes, but... sorry to say that it´s not for my taste. I know that there´s people who are already in huge hype for the game coming to Europe, but I personally don´t feel the hype.
Hyrule Warriors: Legends is just a 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors which I already have on Wii U, so no need for 3DS version in the end x3

My Nintendo Rewards Program announcement and Miitomo: As this was mentioned around internet some while ago, I got happy to hear that Finland will be also added to this program (I was feeling pissed that I wasn´t able to use my many of Club Nintendo codes because Club Nintendo wasn´t available in Finland at all)

Disney Art Academy: I might get this one, like a lot the idea of the Art Academy series anyways. (That reminds me I should try to draw with other Art Academy games I have more x3)

Metroid Prime Federation Force and LOST REAVERS: Sorry to say, but these two game might be another add-ons on my skipped games list.

Virtual Console update for N3DS & N3DS XL: Always great to see this extend with more retro games and specially with US versions of SNES games^^

Azure Striker Gunvolt 2: hmmm honestly, I dunno will I buy this or the first one. Looks interesting though.

3rd Party eShop game release lineup: Well it´s great to see that indie games are still coming to Nintendo consoles

Fire Emblem Fates: FINALLY!!! We got the release date for European release of this game! And that special edition looks sooooooooo tempting, I definitely want that X3

Dragon Quest VII: Haven´t got into this series yet, maybe I should take a look for it somehow ^^

Monster Hunter Generations: Game looks cool overall

Rhythm Paradise Megamix: hehe I noticed this game from one Japanese Commercial complication on Youtube, looks entertaining x3

Kirby: Planet Robobot: And this is what this Nintendo Direct ended with, with the pink BOOOM x3


Well the Nintendo Direct was quite interesting overall, lots of games which drawn my interest and some other games which I wasn´t interested at all x3

Today is the BIG day for this lion!!! Simply because the long waited movie is in Finnish movie theaters today (sorry guys who are already annoyed for all the hype going on with this movie, I know there´s many of them out there), I already got ticket for the Zootropolis this evening. Can´t wait to see it today ^^
Also today is the day when The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is in stores, I got the bundle version reserved and it´s ready to pick up later today.
But before that I´ll be going to my trainee period place, as I got a phone call from there couple of days ago.
I´m gonna let you guys know as soon as possible how things went with that meeting ^^

It´s almost end of the February, which has been the most difficult month in my life.
This journal has some sort of venting ahead, just as a little advance warning. But this journal will have some good stuff too, it won´t be only ranting/venting journal.

Why February was difficult month for this lion?
Mostly it was about dealing with rejection of job application, which was mostly out of my skill level (when I think about it as an afterthought) and that added my failure tolerance into the limits which made me just depressed and really down for possibilities to get any job here in Finland.
While I´m still trying to find a job (even just for a little while), I get constantly rejected and this has been going on some while now.
Just feeling like current times are really bad to be unemployed and somehow I have a really bad luck with job hunting (since here in Finland is already difficult to get a job, including most companies fires their employees and such.).

Still, with all the support I have got from my family (irl and furry), my friends and specially from my boyfriend, I get more hopeful to have a better future for this lion and even get more work experience.
I know that this month has shown me as bad as possible with high levels of stress, but I´ll do my best to work that out and it´s all thanks to all of your support and help.
This lion owes you all so much.

Now that Vent part is done, let´s move on to the good and positive parts.


It´s been so great to draw again and special thanks for  kubwa,  karmakat and  hornetv2 for taking part on my previous 3 YCH auctions and won them.
As I´m working on with new YCHs in near future, I got thought about how to improve myself even more on drawing aspect.
So I thought that if you guys have some suggestions and ideas, I want to hear them out and also learn from them so comment your ideas and suggestions down below this journal. ^^


And as we´re reaching into March, I´m so looking forward for what will be happening upcoming month.
So far there´ll be Zootropolis premiere and also I´ll pick up my copy of Twilight Princess HD bundle at upcoming Friday, I also will get my copy of Pokken Tournament (made the preorder for that as well) and weekend of local comic festival, Tampere Kuplii, which means... First major fursuiting event coming up ^^

Lots of stuff coming up and I´m also looking forward for great things for drawing and Pokemon training, I´m planning to improve my training skills and team building skills. ^^

Firstly, it´s that special day of the year when couples celebrates their love and friends for friendship, the Valentine´s Day!

This lion wishes all the happy Valentine´s Day to all my close friends and specially for my wonderful wolf/friend/boyfriend/fiance  hornetv2 as this is our 7th Valentine´s Day together.

I really hope to get some arts done and also get YCHs and Commissions kick started again, cause I really have missed drawing so much during stressing and worrying things about work related stuffs.

Just now I found a link from Twitter of some news about Miitomo and My Nintendo from Nintendo UK´s website.

Miitomo sounds entertaining and I might give a try to download it once it´s released next month, alongside My Nintendo, which is new rewards program (similar like Club Nintendo was, but with totally new system).
What makes me happy about this news, is that My Nintendo will be available in Finland!!!

Back in Club Nintendo times, I think Finland wasn´t in country list so I wasn´t able to use all those Club Nintendo codes that I got from all those Wii U and 3DS games (totally wasted those).
But now with My Nintendo, I´m happy that Finland is added in countries which will be able to get this program ^^

Hello there guys, this is Jake!

How your January has been so far?
For this lion it has been so hectic lately, because of the trainee period which actually ended yesterday (29th of January).
So what would happen after trainee period is now completed?

I found out during my last trainee period days that same store had few open jobs, 2 work for different departments for 6-12 hours a week (meaning for 2 days a week), one of them is temporal job (until end of August 2016) and second one is longer one.
I´ll find out how this will go after next week´s interview round and the results should be coming at second week of February.

So even though the job has so small amount of hours, I´m still accepting that cause it is really difficult to get a job nowadays and I have been so highly stressed and frustrated with not getting any job.
That has effected on my free time and also for ability to draw like I have used to *looks really embarrassed*
So I really hope that this will give me some new hope to get some job.
Lately I have been trying to think how to improve my art style and specially getting even more unique poses, but that has been a bit problematic to get them paper alongside overall frustration and stress with applying jobs.
But I seriously hope that I will be able to get more art done and really would like to get some commissions to get back to drawing phase.
That´s why I´ve been also invisible on Skype most of the time, cause I´m still trying get some time to release the stress and frustration..(Skype being retarted at times by showing you online even though you are turned off your computer doesn´t help, sorry if I have been so silent there for some of you.).


I also realized that this year will be more anniversaries coming along than just my 30th birthday at April 2nd.
Turns out that at June 2011 was my very first version of Jake´s fursuit finished and made it´s debut at Anthrocon 2011, so... that means, that 2016 will also be my 5th anniversary for my fursuiting debut and 5th anniversary of going to the furcons o.o
And during last five years, Jake fursuit has been going through lots of changes and those changes are all made of my wonderful man  hornetv2, I´m so happy to see the great progress for this lion and I´m so looking forward for future of this lion´s fursuit ^^
Need to make an anniversary submission of the fursuit and furcon anniversaries soon too ^^

Oh gosh, sorry for making this first journal of 2016 so late.
But luckily now I manage to get this done now.

So how you´re doing, guys? Was your New Year starting well?

My Xmas and New Year´s trip to France was overall great, had so much great times with my big bro  karmakat and his wife  zura_rozier.
And it was little bit rough start to get back on life after holiday for trainee period, slept only about 4 hours and was really tired all day long.

But now as I start to get back on kinda normal routine with my life, I started to think about what kind of resolutions I would make for 2016.

Well on my list there would be following things:

- Get in better shape for real
- Get more sleep during the nights
- Work on myself to stop stressing and worrying about things like getting work
- Improve more of my art
- Get more chances to have some free time to read books
- Get better on Pokemon battles and training more variety teams


Well I know that the list is quite huge to deal with, so I think these would be my resolutions for this and next year, maybe also for following years.
I´ll keep my fingers crossed that I´ll manage to get these work and improve my life better.

I´m looking forward what things 2016 will bring to me, since it will be also my 30th year celebration at 2nd of April.

So far I know that on work aspect, it will have some things to work with, since my trainee period will finish at 29th of January and I didn´t got longer work period after that. That means that I´m back to square one with applying work starting February.

So I´ll hope everything will go better this year overall ^^

I wanna wish you all a great and wonderful start for 2016 and even better last day of 2015!

Hey there fuzzies,

I hope that you guys had a great Christmas time and getting relaxed for party hard for the New Year´s eve.

So as the title of this journal says, I´ll be talking about my cons during 2016.

I have to mention as first thing, that this is still in progress part in most part cause I really work my ass off to make convention and work plans go hand in hand.
Basically, the main reason is that 29th of January, my trainee period will end and it´s 100% sure that even though I made great work there, my boss told me that they are not able to continue the contract with me.
So as a result of this, after the end of my trainee period for 6 months (February - July), I´ll be continuing the work applying course for 10 days as a "checking period" and those times we´ll be making applications and look for job for real.

So this means that cons for that period, BLFC and AC, will be skipped without any further wondering.
I´m sorry to say this, as I really wish that I would be able to go those cons and I was wondering if I would go at least for AC 2016, but this was really difficult choice to make to skip definitely both BLFC and AC next year, because of the work applying course and possibly getting a new job.
Hopefully next year will be better luck.

Now for maybe category will go following cons: Eurofurence 22 and as new con on the list, Midwest Furfest 2016.
I might try to get registration going on for these cons and hoping that I might be able to go to both of them, it really depends will I get any work before that and will I be able to get freetime for these.
 hornetv2 was suggesting me to go to MMF as new con, so I´ll see how things will go on work aspect and get registered if everything goes well.
I´m keeping my fingers crossed for these cons to be happening and not forced to skip them all together :c

So far I can ultimately say that my regular local anime con and comic con at Finland, Tampere Kuplii 2016 and Tracon XI will be definitely go for me.
2016, both of the cons will be at same convention center/concert hall, called Tampere Hall and that place is already well known for me for Tracon.

I wish that upcoming year will work out in convention and work wise...If the foreign cons won´t be able to go, then I´ll see my Finnish fur friends at local cons and furmeets at least.
But we´ll see how 2016 con schedule will end up like in the end.

As the year 2015 is coming closer to the end, I´m making last journal of the year now because I´ll be leaving to France for this Christmas and New Year to visit  karmakat and  zura_rozier.

I´ll be leaving to the France at 24th of December and return back to Finland at 3rd of January, 2016.

So as for now, I´m gonna make few announcements for this little vacation:

Firstly, I´m working extra hard to get a special Christmas + Anniversary gift for my lovely wolf  hornetv2 as my main job before the vacation.
Hopefully it won´t delayed at all.
After that, the art uploads will take a little hiatus for the holidays.

For all of you who has me on your Wii U´s friend list, my little sister has borrowed my Wii U for next 2 weeks.
So if you see me online playing games, then it´s my little sister playing, not me.

And lastly, this year ended quite good progress with my weight loss project, got 5 kilos loss in 12 weeks when I was at weight loss group.
Originally I weighted 122 kilograms / 269 lbs, right now my weight is 117,2 kilograms / 258 lbs. (Thanks to  mewtwolover for helping me out with converting the measurements ^^)
I´m hugely happy for the progress, even though I was expecting more and I kinda still try to get used to do workouts and getting better diet.


Anyways, I hugely hope that you guys will have a wonderful Christmas time and New Year 2016.
I´ll work on with new FA journal as soon as I can about what will happen during 2016, hopefully before New Year´s Eve and as the things calms down more.

Hello there guys, how you´re doing?

I´m sorry for being so silent with arts and updates, the lion has been so extremely busy with work lately.
Yesterday I got into little incident which ended with 6 days of day offs from work and here´s what happened:

My utility knife slipped into my index finger and made a cut on my finger during work.
Well there´s nothing else to do, than rush to the health center and get stitches on finger and now I´m trying my best to get my finger fully recovered until my stitches will be taken off at Thursday.

Luckily, this incident happened on my non-dominant hand, so I should not have troubles with drawing. But I still want to not risk it to get my finger getting worse.
And also good thing that I got covered with insurance for this kind of situations, thanks to company who organizes the trainee period.
So I´ll just take it easy and hoping that full recovery will happen soon.

Lesson of this situation: NEVER be careless with utility knife!

Also tomorrow, 6th of December will be Finland´s 98th independence day.
Happy pre-Independence Day to Finland!

Otherwise, this month will be really busy with trainee period, since this lion started full 8 hour workdays this week and work will last until 23th of December, which will be last workday of 2015 before Christmas holidays.
Also this Christmas and New Year I´ll be spending with  karmakat and  zura_rozier.
Depature will happend 24th of December morning and I´ll be back in Finland at 3rd of January.

So looking forward for great times and holidays at France.

And weight loss group is going alright, though I kinda feel like my personal trainer of the group isn´t exactly good enough to relate on my lifestyle with busy work and tiredness after long workday (like it´s an excuss for slacking of workouts or something).
I noticed that I got some lost weight back, but I´m still trying my best to not let that going over my goals.
I got lots of home equipments like gym ball, dumbells, Wii Fit U and even Tapout XT program, which I´ll be checking out when I get this busy times calming down a bit.

 karmakat and me will give a try for collab commissions called "DUAL LION ART ATTACK".
The idea of these commissions is that as you order a commission, you´ll decide which one of us draws and which one colors the pic.

The price for this commission would be $30 / 28 Euros (one character with shading and one colored background) and add-ons(like wings, extra character as example) will cost $5 / 5 Euros extra for each added detail.

Well I have been trying to figure out if I should do, since commissions has been so silent lately:

A) Make a fundraiser for raising money? UPDATE: I forgot that the laws of fundrasing in Finland would make the fundraising option very difficult, so because of that, A option is off the list
B) Open an option for tipping money?
C) Find a way to promote commissions more effectively?
D) Something else?

I´m trying my best to work on arts, but since it has been really hectic with trainee period and with weight loss project...
And I could use some money to maintain the healthy lifestyle, also it would be great to get some savings for the bad day.

I have been seeing some people making fundraisers and offering tipping option, but I just haven´t found out how to do those.
So what you guys think?
What should I do?

Update: I´m gonna make an results of this on my next journal, so I´m gonna give a 24 hours for you guys to give me some ideas and opinions about what I should do.
I specially need some help how to start up tipping option, because I have seen some people doing it, but I dunno how it´s done.

So the long waited Nintendo Direct happened, after being in hiatus since Satoru Iwata´s unfortunate passing.
I try to give as much opinions about the releases, I also like to warn you advance for this journal being really long, because there was some details of the games that appeared in both US and European versions, but with some different details.

After checking out the videos, let´s see what this lion though about these directs.



First up is the list of games that appeared in both US and EU Nintendo Directs and which got my curiousity.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

The trailer and gameplay footage of Twilight Princess HD looks really cool and also I like that the current The Legend of Zelda amiibos in SSB series will be compatible with this remake.
Also...that Wolf Link Amiibo..Wooooooow!
And that can also transfer some data from Twilight Princess HD to upcoming Zelda Wii U game.
This is also great way for hardcore fans to celebrate 30th anniversary of Zelda games.

The bundle with Twilight Princess HD game, Wolf Link Amiibo and soundtrack will be released in US and Europe at 4/3/2016.
European Nintendo Direct did even also mentioned for Wolf Link Amiibo coming as separate package later on.


2. Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow for Virtual Consol
To celebrate beginning of Pokemon´s journey 20 years ago at 2016, Nintendo surprises Pokemon fans with releasing the games that started Pokémania.
I´m personally feeling so nostalgic for this news, because I remember that my first game was Pokemon Yellow on Gameboy Color.
Even though we old fans (and new) can´t go back time with making link cable trades or battles, gladly the games will have same features with wireless connection.

Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow will be released on Virtual Consol at 27/2/2016 (same date as the games were originally released 20 years ago in Japan)


3. Pokken Tournament
I personally can´t wait for getting this game once it´s released Spring 2016 and also I hope to get that Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo card for unlocking it right away in game.


4. Fire Emblem Fates
This is also one of the games I definitely will buy once it´s released.
The all need news we got is that there will be also 3rd version coming up alongside with Birthright and Conquest, called Revelution and this will be either available in Birthright or Conquest as in game download or in special edition which includes the all 3 games, artbook and Fire Emblem Fates themed 3ds pouch for US buyers.

The release date for Fire Emblem Fates is announced in US as 19/2/2016, but for European release, there´s no exact dates given (which is a huge bummer in my opinion, looks like we need to wait for updates for that, European fans)


5. Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS, Splatoon and Super Mario Maker updates
Great that Nintendo is updating these games, cause I like playing with these games as I have some time to spare ^^
Splatoon gets 2 new stages, new gears and weapons in upcoming updates and also website for checking your online ranking, Super Mario Maker gets a website where you can select courses you want to play
And I definitely say, that announcing for FF7 remake for other consols, Square Enix got good point to get some publicity by getting Cloud from FF7 as playable character and also FF7 themed stage in SSB.

Before I managed to get work, there was some rumors that upcoming SSB for Wii U/3DS special presentation at December will be the last one for the game.
If that would be true, I can imagine that Mr. Sakurai has planned so much for this presentation and I´m sure that after the presentation and with updates after that, there could be enough stuff for SSB games for now and he could get a well deserved rest after giving so much stuff for these games (until the sequel released, of course x3)
But we´ll see what Mr. Sakurai has on his sleeve for the upcoming presentation ^^


As much there was lot of great games coming up and updates for excisting games told, there was couple game news in both directs that I honestly wasn´t interested at all and those are Pokemon Picross and Yo-kai Watch.
Sorry, but this lion just simply isn´t huge fan of those games.

Pokemon Picross´s case I rather wanted to hear something else Pokemon related than just that (even though Super Mystery Dungeon, Virtual Consol news and Pokken Tournament was good enough for me).
Even though I´m a huge Pokemon fan, I´m not still tempted to get this title.

Yo-kai Watch... Oh gosh, what I have to say about this game overall?
I might go off topic with this one at some point too, but anyways... here we go~*sighs*
I got little bit feeling that it tries to be a wannabe Pokemon copycat kinda and after watching few parts of anime, it just pushed me further away and I´m not into that series.
And in my opinion, English voice dud sounds bit dumb and annoying for this lion´s ears.
Seeing first glimpses of the gameplay also made my decision that Yo-kai Watch isn´t for me at all.


Alrighty, it´s time for me to stop rambling and look forward what Nintendo will make for us in near future ^^
What you guys think and which games or updates you´re impatiently waiting from Nintendo?

So Nintendo Directs are back, after long hiatus and also misfortunated passing of Satoru Iwata.
So what to expect from today´s Nintendo Direct?

There´s lot of expectations already and I started to thinking about my expectations about this matter, so here we go (edit: added some more of predictions that I forgot on first version of this journal):

1. New update information for following games:
- Star Fox Zero (the new release date)
- Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright/Conquest (new trailer with exact release date)
- Genei Ibun Roku #FE (English title, English trailer and exact release date)
- Pokemon Go (even though it´s an mobile app game, I still could see some new updates about it)
- Pokken Tournament

2. New DLCs for excisting games:
- Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS
- Super Mario Maker

3. New games:

Otherwise, they might not talk about Nintendo NX, because they made it clear at E3 that they will talk more about it next year.

So let´s see what the Nintendo Direct will discuss about and I´ll update on tomorrow´s journal about how my predictions matched with actual presentation

Sorry for not being so active with getting new arts done on FA or in Weasyl or Tumbrl (mygosh, I really should update those more often too).
This lion´s real life and work has been going like a super busy as we getting closer to the Christmas time (over 2 months for that still, but you know how things will be in retail and department stores).
After workday this lion is feeling mostly sleepy to focus fully, but I really wish that I´m able get more arts done and specially for possible commissions plus new YCH auctions.
For commissions and YCH auction promotions, I´ll be doing for another journal after I´m getting some ideas for YCH auction.


There´s also few other thing happening with my life, which has taken my full attention:
Weight loss course at local gym, which started 2nd of October and lasts until 18th of December and it´s main goals to lose weight without any miracle diets or gizmos, just by changing your eating and exercising habits.

Progress of this project has been overall awesome, in last 2 weeks my weight has been dropped from 122 kilograms to 118,7 kilograms. That is 3,3 kilogram weight loss in 2 weeks (for all of you, who uses lbs instead of kilograms as weight system, hopefully you´ll find a exact measurements cause I´m bit bad on that ).
I think I could at least go with 10 kilogram weight loss as my small goal towards my long term 90 kilogram goal.

And also I made an update for my Facebook, I merged my Fursona page with my RL page as it will be my communication between my friends and family outside of furry fandom and my fur friends.
I´m hoping that this way I´m able to keep in touch with both sides, instead of having different accounts for that.

So I really hope that there´s a way to get life bit smoother and less busier, this lion needs some relaxing times badly
