I just want to let you know that I made a update of my commission prices (specially on traditional art, because of need to cover all the art supplies with the final prices).
And also made some small updates with commissioning rules

1. When you ask an commission from me and you want to get a slot, you need to send me an FA note with following message:

What kind of commission you got on your mind:
- Art piece (Digital or Traditional) or Badge (Digital or Traditional)?
- Will it be single character or two character art?
Link to your ref of your fursona (or detailed description of your fursona) or if it´s double character art, ref of the second character will be appreciated as well.
The info how the progress files will be shown (email/links with Dropbox)

2. After that, I´ll send you confirmation for your commission and the final price. I also add you in commission list, which will be updated on my Journal Footer.

3. Commissions can paid after you have seen pencil sketch of your commission and approved it via FA notes or email, after that you´ll get further details how to pay the commission.
Payments I take with Paypal, but specially with Finnish furs I can take payments as bank transfers too.
If you want to pay it before the approval of sketch for the commission, that is also fine.

4. After approving the sketch, I´ll continue the art / badge and send you progress files of your commission as soon as possible.

5. Once you´re satisfied the finished version, you have my permission to post it in your galleries, but remember to link me as an original artist and add the link to the original submission of mine.

6. Con Delivery badges will be cheaper comparing the digital versions, since there won´t be postal costs and it will be in a ready to wear con condition (with lamination and added clip).

7. If you have ordered Con Delivery badge and somehow you are not going to the con you have told me to go, I´ll deliver it to you by mail, in that case I´ll add the postal costs for the final price.
You also need to send me your home address so I can send the badge for you.

- Otherwise once the badge is done, we´ll plan on details for giving your badge at the con.

8. Also this is important: Please, do not rush me to do the commission! I want to make a great work with each art I do and make it worth for your payment.
But I still try my best to get your art done asap!

Another great con weekend there was last weekend, this time at Tampere, Finland.
That´s right, it´s time for my second "homecon" Tracon and it´s 10th convention with Time Travelling theme.

For me the con means for me that I´ll be fursuiting most of the time and spend time with Finnish furs, at times I wonder around dealers den for shopping (don´t judge me x3).

Overall fursuiting time for the weekend was about 7-8 hours, that included with much needed cool offs.
Weather was good most of the time, there was some rain showers during Saturday but at Sunday the day was partly sunny and there wasn´t any rain.

This lion managed to get lots of hugs and scratches on his mane, some photo opportunities and smiles on people.

There was one not cool incident at Sunday morning while I was fursuiting around the park near the con area.
I walked near the playground and there was little boy, who came to me and tried to lift my muzzle up and saying "You´re not real and I know you´re just a human under that costume".
I didn´t talk or replied to him even though he was trying hard to make me speak.
In the end I managed to get out of the situation, after he tried to follow me and take my tail little while (maybe attempting to pull it off or something, but I made sure that didn´t happen).

Otherwise it was so fantastic to see most of my great Finnish furs at con including  vince_bloodwing,  kheldis,  juliusblackpaw,  rimawolf and many many more.
There was huge amount of furs at con and it was totally awesome to talk and spend time with you guys^^
Can´t wait to see you guys again soon ^^

With this con report, I officially declare that Jake´s Con year 2015 is completed!
It was overall fun year, with some excitement and great times in Finland and in the USA ^^

I´m looking forward for my next year´s cons

So as "Summertime" has been passed (It felt more like that Summer started couple of weeks ago and stayed until last week here in Finland), it´s time to get ready for enjoy all the fall time and all the light you´ll get from the sun before it starts the dark season with cold chills of snow (I really hope that there will be lots of snow this winter, last winter wasn´t snowy at all).

Anyways, I bet that you have been wondering where I have been with no art uploads.
Main reason for that is that I have been trying to get some sort of daily routine to not spend most of the day just in front of laptop and also had my friend visiting me last week.
I´m also still trying to figure out how to present my commissions more effectively here on FA.

Yesterday (31st of August) I started my trainee period at local hypermarket and this morning was my first full day at there. I almost got late from there by oversleeping but luckily I managed to get there on time, I hope that clock will wake me up earlier tomorrow morning. X3
But yeah, this period will be for until end of January 2016 aka 5 months.

As for daily routine, I need to figure out how I´m gonna manage time for gym, drawing, relaxing, video games, reading books (got multiple books that I haven´t managed to finished to read).
I really hope that there´s a way to make a really good balance with all of this alongside with job.

Upcoming weekend will be Tracon X weekend in Tampere, I might have a chance to work at trainee period place at morning for little bit, after that head to home to get my suit and then get to the con area.
((Update 3/9/2015: This Saturday I won´t be going for work, cause I got to known about that bit late. But I´m sure that there will be some Saturdays I´ll get to work during the trainee period)
Hopefully there won´t be any raining going on this weekend. ((Update 3/9/2015: So far weather forecasts has been predicted rain and cold weather, even thunderstorms for Saturday... :C I really hope that this forecast will be changing for better)



After Tracon X, my con year 2015 is concluded.
As I told on my previous journal, my year 2016 will be figured out at it´s own phase and for the cons, I might give a try to focus for Eurofurence 22.As for attending BLFC and/or Anthrocon, I wanna go there, but if I manage to get a job offer or extended period at my current workplace... then I´m not sure.
As shortly I can say, that I´m trying to figure out the foreign cons for next year as much as there won´t be any other important stuff happening.

Hey there guys,

I was thinking about what I wrote yesterday´s journal and I started to thought to rewrite the journal, since I started to edit my yesterday´s journal so much.

So this journal´s main point is to give some life update and I´ll let you know right now that this will be bit long journal.
So without further mumblings., I really hope you´ll bare with this journal and get all the info about what is happening in my life so far.


But before the personal updates, I want to say that commission re-opening started overall great in my opinion and I´m hopeful to make more commissions for all of you guys.
I´ll be working on updated list of the "Commission Info"-list or make a separate submission for the commission prices, but in the meantime, my prices and instructions how to commission me are listed this journal.

While I checked out my art back in 2009 all the way to my current arts I have so far, I can see that I have came a long way of improvements and changes with my art style. And best part of it is, that I still have a long way to make progress and improvements.
I´m hugely happy while reading your compliments and see all the faves on my art, it´s all thanks to you guys for working hard and improve more ^^


Now it´s time for the longest part of this journal...

At Wednesday I managed to get myself an trainee period place for little while and on Monday, I´ll be making paperwork for that.
So on work aspect, everything´s in good way at least for a while and if this won´t lead to stable job, then I still hope that one day I would be able to stay in work life somehow. Which made me so proud and happy ^^
This also would effect for getting art done, but I do my very best to get a lot art to done and get some sort of routine in my life.

Lately I have been started to wonder about how I should improve myself out of the artist aspect, meaning for my everyday life.
Well I want to improve myself as a person, like keeping up for hope for the great future in the middle of the major unemployment (which is a huge deal in Finland and made me stress a lot, into the point that I feel like I would rather be somewhere else than in a current situation).
I really hope that this situation just eases up and there would be chance to go to work for stable income, it has been way too long that no matter for effort to find a job that is not enough.
Thank goodness that I managed to get myself a trainee place at least for little while.

As for me in the conventions, I´m trying still work on how I represent my character while fursuiting.
Hopefully I´ll find a way to get way to make better performance rather than just standing around ^///^
And also, need to suit more often during the cons x3 That way I get more experience with fursuit performance for sure.

At the moment, I´m highly hopeful for figuring out for the next year´s cons, so far there´s 3 major ones that I wish to go: Biggest Little Fur Con, Anthrocon and Eurofurence.
Here´s some reasons why these three cons specially are the ones I want to go:

Biggest Little Fur Con (aka BLFC) is must go, because I definitely loved how the theme was produced this year and everything else went so marvelous. Other reasons for the great time was that BLFC 2015 was also my bf´s birthday con and also this was my very first time in Reno.
Next year´s theme...oh gosh, this is one of the big reasons why I want to go next year, to see how this will continue the events of "Utopia" from this year´s con.

Anthrocon (aka AC)... just simply because.. This con has always been like my major con starting back in 2011, the first time that I was ever flew in the US and AC has been my very first furry con that I have been since I found furry fandom 2009.
City of Pittsburgh and people in it has won my heart with their kindness and with all the smiles they have given me and all the rest of the attendees, making me feel like I have came back home.. Every single time that I come there for the AC.
Some people would say they don´t like a big cons because there´s lots of people and such.
But in my case, I have got used to this world´s biggest furry con and every time I love it very much and I would love to show that con to other Finnish fur friends one day.

Eurofurence 22 (aka EF22), even though there was some mixed thoughts about the con at first, I still would give a second chance.
After watching EF Prime´s livestream most of the day and checking out the new locations of events (such as main stage), I started to miss that place and the con. (I guess I was missing all the furry happenings after AC)
I just hope that there would be someone to go there with me and share the room, if I´m able to go there.

Major issue I got with foreign furry cons, is that I really have to be 100% sure that am I able to go those unless there´s a job offer or if I actually will get a job before next year´s cons (just like with this year, there was a bit worry that I was going to skip AC for the job applying course, but I managed to get there in the end).
So basically this is biggest reason why I have now kept my next year´s con list as open, cause I still know 100% what will happen next year. But as I know for sure, I let you know as fast as I can here on FA and other places. (I should be updating my Weasyl and Tumbrl more btw..that´s a random side note)
There might be chance that I could go either one or more foreign cons, depending on my life situation next year. But I want to celebrate my big 30th birthdays (no matter how delayed would be in the end, since I know that there´s no furry cons at 2nd of April happening x3)

Of course I would be in Tampere Kuplii comic festival and Tracon 11, as my Finnish "non-furry" cons, which are local cons to me for sure.
One day I would be able to go to the other cons as well.

As a closing statements, I want to give my lovely BF and close friends, specially for my big bro  karmakat for helping me out as much as he can for making my life bit easier.
I feel like this fandom brought me great people around me and that makes me so grateful and happy for each and everyone of you, I want to say thank you so much from bottom of my heart sincerely!

So what will Jake do this month?

Next week, during 3rd - 8th of August, I´ll be going to Turku to attend an course for people who has speech issues and after that, starting 10th of August, I´ll be starting work applying course in Tampere, which starts with 3 day long briefing and after that the work is starting to find a work for 1 to 6 months.
Hopefully that way I´ll find a work where I could stay longer time, but it´s always good to have a "plan B" if there´s no chances to get any work.
But we´ll see how this will go.


And as for commission re-opening, I´ll officially do it when I get back home from next week´s course.
As a pre-promoting, I will be opening for badge commissions same time for everyone and for Tracon 10 anime con attendees with special con delivery price.
All of this will be available when I get back home, that is.

Tuesday 4th of August will be my 6th Furry anniversary and I managed to get a big 50.000 Pageview kiriban from previous 2 submissions I posted 4 days ago. I still can´t believe that it has been 2 weeks since last day of Anthrocon x3 (Next year´s con decisions will be tough, there´s now 2 cons I want to go, but we´ll see will I be able to come there)

Anyways, since the last update, I have been mostly just taking time for myself and tried to relax by watching Youtube videos of AC2015 and Netflix.
Also been focusing for my workshop more, since upcoming week will be my last week there for now and I also tried to draw new photos, but haven´t been so lucky with that.


So I wanted to give a heads up for a couple of announcements:

Firstly, during 3rd - 8th of August, I´ll be heading to Turku for a course for people who has speech issues (that´s right... Since I was a kid, doctors told that I was having difficulties to speak well and specially understand the speech).
So this will be a little break for me from online life, cause I don´t think there´s not so much chances to spend time on laptop during the course.
But I will definitely take that time to focus to draw on free time and get some actual art done here on FA, Weasyl and Tumbrl.

Secondly, during the course, at 4th of August, will be my 6th FA and furry anniversary.
I can´t believe, it has been 6 years already since I joined on FA and found out this fuzzy fandom.

I´ll be making some sort of pre-6th anniversary journal at 2nd of August to talk about that more.

Lastly, after the Turku course, I´ll be starting up job applying course in neighbor city. It starts with 1-3 day long preparation and during that I´ll make a plan with course´s instructor for next phase, which could least from 1 to 6 months.
Hoping hugely that this will help me to get back in work life bit longer time than just couple of months.

So, lots of hopes and excitements happening for upcoming weeks.

As the closing words for this journal, I want to give you a question to answer:
I´m willing to re-open commissions once again, but I have a feeling that it will be happening at 9th of August after the first course.
Or should I open them earlier? What you guys think?

Alrighty, the world´s largest furry con has come and gone (even though I felt like I just left from there and it´s already Wednesday soon on my side x3), but I´ve said this already I dunno how many times, but AC2015 was the best con so far in my 5th year attendee history of this specific con!!!

So I try to make a good job with this trip report, even though I don´t make it fully detailed (cause there was so many things happening during the con, but I will tell the greatest things at least) ^^


So the gang who I enjoyed time with during the con was  sibelion  astrangelittlechild  mmacage and of course, my lovely and silly wolfie  hornetv2.
Had so much fun while playing Cards Against Huminity, we went to suit at local AT&T for getting prepaid card for me during the AC and having fun photoshoot opportunities during the prepaid card pickup trip.
During AC I was chance to spend time and say hi to great people such as  rhythms,  xwuffy,  karmakat(who had a birthday at Sunday 12th),  kealianwolf,  m.mcallister88,  erikku-kun,  albus777,  thestripedone and also many more, new and also my great friends from previous cons ^^

For arting aspect, I managed to make a badge trade with (which I´ll be posting in FA/Weasyl/Tumbrl as soon as I can :3), gave commission badge to (I´ll be posting that soon as well) and 2 badges to .
Also I got an amazing gift bagde from

This con I was suiting up for fursuit parade, which was fantastic comparing with previous cons.
Otherwise I took part in fursuit team games, managed to participate in Pokemon video game tournament (where I got placed in top 4 for X/Y division) participated in Predators photoshoot, enjoyed for the dances, Furnando´s subs and Tonic´s drinks.

But most awesome thing during the con was making a fursuiting trip to local AT&T to get myself a prepaid card for during the con.
The clerks were all excited to have us there and took some photos with us too ^^


Overall the con was going so fast and as there was the fun times during the weekend, that got slowly end on Monday when I started to leave back to Finland. I got slight PCD (even tough I have went on AC for 5 years in a row already), because I love Pittsburgh so much that it has become my second home to me and Jake, also all the fun times at AC ^^
It was also sad to leave all the great fuzzy people and wait for another year to see everyone once again.

I got wonder after the con why TSA isn´t replacing the ziplocks if they open the action packer for the inspection.
This happened actually twice: first when I arrived to Pittsburgh and my fursuit head droped off from action packer to the luggage carousel and second when I got action packer back at Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
Luckily nothing got lost from there, but still..yeah it would have been awesome and helpful to replace ziplocks after inspection.


Well this was my Anthrocon 2015 in a most part, still it´s one of my personal favorite cons (alongside with BLFC and Tracon) and so far next year will be open about if I´ll be going there, but we´ll see that next year.
Also special thank yous to  vince_bloodwing for providing place to stay at his place for Wednesday 8th of July night and helped me out to get me in bus with my huge amount of luggages at Tampere.

But now it´s time for this lion to get some sleep, because technically today (Wednesday, as I got finished this journal) is my first day after travel long summer holiday from workshop.

Hey there guys, the lion has returned safely back home from the con weekend!

I will work on better con journal real soon(which will be my next journal as I soon get most stuff unpacked today), I just wanted to let you know that I´m back ^^

I just got luggage and my fursuit packed for the Anthrocon trip ^^
Need to finish the remaining badge and laminate it before tomorrow, otherwise I´m ready for the weekend trip in Pittsburgh.

So tomorrow noon, I´ll take the bus to Helsinki to visit my furry brother  vince_bloodwing for one night and in the Thursday morning, I head to Helsinki-Vantaa airport to start my Anthrocon trip.
If everything goes well with flights, I´ll be at Pittsburgh by 4:44pm, but anything can always happen (as the previous flight trip on May proved that fact)

But anyways, I´m sure that this time the flights will go well and I´ll be there without any delays or issues. *purrs kindly*

How´s everyone doing?

I´m at France atm, staying at  karmakat´s and  zura_rozier´s place. So far the holiday has went really well, weather is sunny and hot at day (In Finland, there´s still so cold and rainy. At least according the weather forecasts I look for x3).
Just got back to their place after going to the morning market with Zura and last night we went to get some delicious cheese fondue
And also commission badges are almost done, one badge is in sketch part and waiting for the approval ^^

Well there´s still some time before I head back to Finland for getting ready for the Anthrocon trip next week.

hehe well this my official Summer holiday journal ^^

Tomorrow I´ll be leaving to the France to visit  karmakat and  zura_rozier.
So I´ll be away from tomorrow to Sunday 5th of July.

After that, I´ll be at home for 2 days, before I´ll leave to visit  vince_bloodwing for one night at 8th of July and then I´m leaving to Anthrocon from Helsinki at 9th of July.

So I really hope that these trips will go well, so far today it´s been predicted for heavy thunderstorms during afternoon.

Well I watched the talk about that last night and I´m so thankful for Adblock for that.

But this whole issue has made me think, I should start to update my Weasyl account more often than FA now on.
It has been long while for doing that, maybe gonna do some uploading before upcoming trips, otherwise I´ll be waiting until I get back home and get some time to focus for that.

So this lion stays on FA, well at least not now.
But if this downhill goes even worse, I might even consider to moving to Weasyl.

..that I´m hugely sorry for not having so much arts lately *looks really embarrassed*

I got so much silent time with drawing, since I managed to get some of the AC 2015 badges done.
So if I really want to get the commissions going on, I really should start to focus more on drawing and cut time from something else.

Rules for the commissions:

1. When you ask an commission from me and you want to get a slot, you need to send me an FA note with following message:

2. After that, I´ll send you confirmation for your commission and the final price. I also add you in commission list, which will be updated on my Journal Footer.

3. Commissions can paid after you have recieved pencil sketch of your commission and approved it via FA notes or email, after that you´ll recieve further details how to pay the commission.
Payments I take with Paypal, but specially with Finnish furs I can take payments as bank transfers too.

4. After approvement, I´ll continue the art / badge and send you files of flat colored and finished versions (or your lineart) of your commission.

5. Once you´re satisfied the finished version, you have my permission to post it in your galleries, but remember to link me as an original artist and add the link to the original submission of mine.

6. Con Delivery badges will be cheaper comparing the digital versions, since there won´t be postal costs and it will be in a ready to wear con condition (with lamination and added clip).

7. If you have ordered Con Delivery badge and somehow you are not going to the con you have told me to go, I´ll charge additional $10 / 7,5 Euros and mail it to you.

And some other news, next month will be another vacation month as 2 weeks, from 25th of June to 12th of July.
During 25th of June and 5th of July, I´ll be going to visit  karmakat and  zura_rozier.
From 6th to 12th of July, so far there´s no any plans appeared for those days and that is also AC weekend, which I´m unfortunately missing this year.

I´m hoping that there´s some kind of plans for this lion to spend during that week.

May has been overall great with USA trip for BLFC and celebrating my wonderful man  hornetv2´s birthday, so let´s see what will happen in June.

I came back home yesterday Wednesday, 20th (technically I left from USA at Tuesday 19th, but since the time zones I made it back to Finland day after x3).

But....Before I go on with USA/BLFC trip report, I want to give an following announcements:

Firstly, I´m really sorry for everyone that I have been so silent on Skype for most of the people, everything is fine, except I´m still getting used to managing time for drawing, going to the gym and spending time on Skype without forgetting to get enough sleep.
Wanted to say this, cause I got lots of people asking if they have done something wrong, cause I haven´t talked so much and which isn´t true at all, I just have been so busy lately and I´m hugely embarrassed about that.

Secondly and lastly, during BLFC I got PM on Facebook Messenger from random fur, who wanted to RP with me almost instantly.
I personally don´t do RP´s not so much, cause I´m not so great on those (specially without knowing person really well first).
So please, I´m on Facebook Messenger (cause of my phone keeps me online for that), but if you want to chat with me, then I´m fine with that. I´m always happy to get to know with people.
But I don´t do RPs there, specially if I have just met you, sorry.


Anyways, back to the main thing: "How Jake´s USA/BLFC trip went?"

For 99% the whole trip went fantastic, the remaining 1% went with departure day´s huge delays.
First flight from Tampere to Stockholm went really well, but after that:
First Stockholm - Chicago flight delayed about 4 hours, because of engine maintaince. I got new ticket for connection flight at Chicago, so I wasn´t too worried about that.
Then at Chicago, there is upgrading project going on in O´Hare and also gate weren´t working so well at first, so we had to wait for quite long before getting out of the plane.
After getting out of the plane, Chicago - Seattle flight delayed little, because of on going storm in Chicago and funny thing was gate changed multiple times (and one point there wasn´t gate for that flight XD).
And at Seattle, got luggage back...of course with slight delay x3

After the huge delay adventure, the trip started going really well and got so much of photos there (At Oregon Zoo almost 300 photos alone, so from whole trip I managed to get even more of photos), which I need to organize first.
Got some photos at BLFC too, which I´ll be posting on FA asap.
Also BLFC was the debut of Jake 3.0, which my man  hornetv2 posted on Twitter: https://twitter.com/HornetV2/status.....54469899431936

Overall I got chance to see so many places during my trip that I wasn´t able to see last year and also many people, such as  thetrickyhusk for the first time face to face.
And most importantly, I´m so happy for being able to celebrate my boyfriend´s special birthday, which was convinently at first day of the BLFC.

BLFC´s theme was excellent and executed really perfectly, which was called "Utopia". And this kind of theme continues next year as last days of the con there was some signs of Resistance showing all around the con area. And as last thing, when the 2016 theme was about to announce, we found out that Resistance kidnapped the BLFC Utopia´s leader, Brometheus Bear.
And turns out that next year´s theme will be "Resistance wins!"

During BLFC 2015, there was also chance to watch Main Stage events on UStream.

Right now, it´s time to get back on the normal daily routine and hopefully get back on gym as well, need to draw more too :3
