I would just like to express my appreciation too all of you who are watching me whether or not you've met me in real life.

Hello again everyone, and by everyone I mean anyone who actually reads these from me XD

My name is Jak and I'm in a re-centering phase in my life.

I've screwed up monumentally and, without going into details, this has been a work in the making for about 6 years.
Now I am back home from college taking a leave from all the pressure I've been under for this semester and I'm going to make the absolute best of it I can.
What this means for my activity here is that it will go from sparse to nonexistent.
I thank all of you who have supported me in your own ways while I've been a semi-active part of this community and you will not be forgotten, but because of some of the negative aspects of the furry part of my life I'm putting down any further activity here on fA for the next couple months. I have not yet decided whether I'm going to leave it behind completely, but that is to be made plain in the months to come.

As for good news, I recently have been mated with and it looks to be quite the relationship, albeit strictly online. I thought I'd take the time to announce this because I believe it's worth mentioning despite my own personal qualms against advertising relationships “status” but it is what it is.

I'm at Norwich University, where life is not what it actually is at all.
I just spent the week away from campus and with my extended family, talking to my immediate family, and it has made one thing painfully evident to me.

all these separate lives I live are separate for a reason.
I know that they don't get along with each other, so I keep them apart.
does it tear me apart? not really, I just wish that each separate part would stay away from any other part.

Junior Year at Norwich University

I'm sitting in my room listening to the screaming and yelling of freshman cadets as they go about their day.
Those were the days
I sometimes wish the entire time here was like it was back then, but we are only a senior military college, not an academy, so I must suffice with wearing the uniform everyday and yelling "bang bang" at our exercises.

hmmm... status update first

-I practice drawing in my head and it seems to be helping my sketches, sooner or later I'm going to start practicing -actual- line work. I still have some drawings that I've done that I need to scan and upload, I'm so sorry to those who have been waiting for these things >.<

-As for music, I'm going to wait until I have the official version of FLstudio so I don't have to waste my time anymore (I may support pirating, but I'm A. not stupid enough to steal something this nice, and B. if I make a hit I don't want to be left scratching my head as the lawsuits rain down)

-Writing wise, I am going to work on a collab with a friend of mine on fA and see how that goes. Don't expect any sort of results any time soon because I plan on making this a long and relaxed project, testing the waters on a writing collab. those interested in my writing work read this! I'm still more then happy to help with editing work

Photography? Well, I have a sort of limited medium here at my school, but maybe I can actually get out and get some freerunning shots or some nice perspective shots of the mountains. We shall see... also my camera is the epitome of amateur XD

Digital art? My work with this is relatively simple, so I'm sure that if I'm not doing pushups or working out or going out shooting I can put some things together those interested in me doing something for them read this! I'd be more then happy to create things, just ask me and I'll see if it is within my skills to do
