i started typing strawberry into the search bar trying to get to furaffinity lol.
I just love her and haven't drawn in awhile and have been really depressed and I started sketching and she got me out of that slump.

I love Caroline but have been feeling a bit disconnected from her recently. Strawberry isn't attached to a seperate project like Caroline is and that helps too.

I'm going to be house and dog sitting for a nice couple my boyfriend's mom is friend with. They own and run a food truck, that has really good food.
They have two old dogs that I'm taking care of. They are real sweet.

I am doing to take a little break from drawing and try to focus on writing for a few days.
So during that time if any one has any sort of suggestions or requests I'l try to write something for them.

So my summer so far has been interesting...

The entire story starts before school let out

My mom has been in bad health for a long time. Both physically and mentally. She is an alcoholic with anxiety/depression (i think she had more than that...) psoriatic arthritis. She really lost it after my dad died. She was already loosing it, then he died and her liver began to fail and somehow she's still alive. She's stupider, meaner, and more narcissistic than ever.

Anyway she flew to a funeral in Michigan and never made it to the funeral. She left her hotel room without her purse or phone and got in a car crash. After she was released from the hospital she slipped and feel in the parking lot and hit her head. She got in her new rental car and drove off. She had no idea where the funeral was, the hotel, or anything.
She was driving around slowly with her emergency lights as she searched for her hotel, then the cops finally found her.
The police eventually contacted her relatives who were still in Michigan and she was rude to them.
(But now i think she spent some of this time drunk and is lying to everyone)
I was the fist person she called at the hospital, not her father or any other relative who wasn't two states away, but me. Who could do nothing but call them.
She eventually made it home somehow.

I visited when school got out to discover her new Forester is impounded and she got and DUI. This wasn't her firs one and it will be suspended for awhile (at least 6 months).

That was the first time in awhile I saw her sober and she was a lot nicer.

She had to make court appearances. Despite promising her brother and father she wouldn't travel alone (no one told me this), she did. She missed two court dates. I dropped her off at the airport when I was visiting. She made it to Michigan, but still missed her date.

She was arrested and I was the first person she called. The call cut out after a minute and she told me nothing that could help me help her.
But she got out a few days ago and should be home soon.

My poor siblings.


Also I've been fighting with my boyfriend a lot. He's doing to many drugs and takes out his frustrations on those around him.
just bleh...


This upcoming fall semester I am transferring schools to a bigger university. I'll be there for two years and then I will be done with my degree.

I tried to get a summer job. I got a $4 and hour waitressing job and then got fired 3 weeks later. I had only worked like 8 days. I worked with the manager for 3 days and I think she hated me, because all of the other staff I talked too were wondering why I wasn't called back the day before I was fired.
I wasn't doing things fast enough apparently? They were hardly training me I had finally figured out and then two days later I'm fired.
What the fuck, honestly?

Making a Visual Novel

So I decided that this summer I am going to write and code a visual novel/dating sim.

It will have multiple romanceable characters and different plot lines.
Say that there are three romanceable characters that you go on a date/advanture with. There are then are two good ends to the date and story lines, and places in the story where you can get a bad end.

It will be set in a furry fantasy land. I'm going to start making color palettes for different landscapes and sketching them. I'll also begin writing out the different story lines, and developing characters.

Here are the first things I need to do:
Begin working on the coding and do some reviewing my computer science notes. I'm probably going to use java, but I'll look at other resources too.
Figure out the basic archtypes of the three main romanceable characters.
Figure out what the player character is and how it interacts with the story.

Then begin working on their desings and writing their story lines.


I doubt I will come close to finishing this summer, but hopefully I can make a good dent.

If anyone has any suggestions or comments I would love to hear them! <3

Yay! It's officially summer. Today is the last day of the semester.
I turned in my last assignment yesterday. I didn't say goodbye to anyone.
I took my thermo exam and am confident I got at least a 75% (B- !!!) (I have a 75% in the class)
My kineasiology exam took my 15 minutes to complete.
And a got a 59/60 (98%) on my fantastic archaeology final.
I got about and 85% - 75% in Seminar I think maybe
And I think I passed Short story. I'll post the story I wrote for it here once final grades have been released.
Now I am done with Western and will be transferring to ISU for two years. I'm going to be living with my sister.
Me, her, and my mom cosigned the loan on a 2015 chevy spark. I'm looking forward too it, even if I have to share. I'm tired of driving an old and failing minivan.
I am excited for ISU.

I'm not excited for my job prospects this summer.
I plan to draw non stop and hopefully make some money. I'm not getting an internship with year. Hopefuly I can get a part time job at the bar and foodtruck my boyfriends mom works at.

Speaking wich once I'm at ISU me and my boyfriend will be a 3+1/2 hour drive away from each other. With his swing shift scheduals, he can have up to 6 days off, so he probably will be visiting a lot.
He wants to take me to concernts this summer, and like buy me 100$ shoes and get a jeep or a tacoma and get his own appartment and having me move in outside of shcool.

I might make a discord server for people on here that he can access.

In conclusion,

Update:

The worse of the semester is over.
Research is finished, the two research conferences are finished. I wrote 80% of the only big paper I have. AND my seminar presentation is done!!
I did not get the internship I thought I was going to get, so I'm gonna start looking for boring summer jobs. There is a small chance I can still get a proper internship at a fertilizer factory.
5 weeks left of school.
5 weeks left till I get to leave Illinois permanently!

My nice $1200 laptop with all its glorious ram and pixels is still being worked on. Should be done by last weekend.



Also, I don't know what to draw.

My nice new 8 month old $1200 gaming laptop is at a computer repair store currently. The keyboard stopped working like completely.

My old laptop is still running, I just don't have most of my files and it is very small.

Hopefull it's a small problem and isn't too expensive.

I wish I could be playing video games rn im super depressed

I have been having a lot anxiety problems lately, I've had issues for a long time but visiting my family over new years made me loose like 5 years of progress and have felt very bad this past semester.
I quick Zoloft because I was having bad side effects and got super stressed and started smoking weed again made an irrational decision.
I started Lexapro eight days ago, but I think I will have to quit it soon because I'm getting even more suicidal, but maybe I upset myself after taking Xannax (which I tired to quit too...) while really depressed.
I also thing both Lexapro and Zoloft made me a lot angrier too, so I'm probably going to quit SSRI now.

I'm just feeling bad and would like to talk to someone. I don't have to be about my problems, I would love to chat about anything.
I really like physics, math and engineering and if anyone would like to talk about it I would love to. <3
Or if you have anything that you are passionate about and want to ramble about it I would love to hear it.

Idk I've just been sitting here for like two hours now trying to get calm enough to draw and work on homework. I have so many half finished pieces I'm trying to get done.
I'm getting more confident in my art and have been putting a lot of hours of work into it recently.
I sold some YCHs recently and it kind of increased my drive to make more money from my art and provide a better product. I really home I can make enough income so that's its viable enough to not get a part time job next semester, especially since drawing furriers is a lot easier on my anxiety too. Being in public is incredibly anxiety inducing to me. I can handle school, but I would love to be able to work alone in my room.


After writing this and smoking some weed I'm feeling a lot better. Hopefully I can get a paragraph of my research paper done and finish part of my many WIP tonight.

I would love to do some collaborations with people. I was thinking something like where one person sketches, one does line art, one does coloring or something like that.

I also am open to art trades! I don't have decent references for my characters so just be aware of that.

Hi so I'm trying to keep up with drawings. My mental problems and school work has been causing a lot of stress for me.
I am struggling with having confidence in my art work, but I want to keep drawing.

Over spring break I am going to be having a commission sale. I'm gonna have sharply reduced prices for a few days so hopefully and can get some commissions.

I also have a lot of personal art in the works. Right now I have a back log of art I am going to post something once a week for awhile until I run out.
As I finish things during the week I will post another piece at that time. Hopefully my posting will have consistency as some weeks I am able to get a lot more done than others due to changes of school load.

I have some adoptables and your character here things for the future. That will reduce price in the future once I draw my own characters in the YCH base.

Also I have been thinking about making a comic. I did one page so far and sketched several others. I'm still experimenting with what sort of style I want to use.

And I am thinking about making Animal Crossing themed tarot cards and then getting them printed. Maybe? In the future? Or offering special commissions like this.

Also I am taking suggestions! (Not requests!) Is there is anything you think I should draw? Characters of mine I should draw more? You could give me links to references and I might draw you character if I feel up to it as gift art. I get to maintain artistic freedom.

I'm not doing to well. The Zoloft I was prescribed isn't gonna work. The side effects are horrible. I took my dose before I ate dinner on Friday and afterwards my jaw heard for the next day from unconsciously clenching it so much.
There are other annoying side effects.
I also have been getting extremely angry, upset, hopeless, and suicidal.
I gave up and started smoking weed again too.
Mental illness is a loosing battle.
Life seems pointless and I am very bored.

Commissions:

The commissioner must pay before any work will start. Money can be transfered using Google Wallet or Paypal of Ko-fi.
I will use invoices on paypal. I also accept donations through paypal.

Refunds: You may receive a refund equal to the price of unfinished work.
(If I have not started drawing, you will get a full refund. No refunds on finished work.)


Currently all commissioned artwork will be posted to this account and this account only. I can leave the commissioner anonymous or publish the commissioners screen name at request.

I am willing to make minor changes to something after it finished, such as changing flat colors, or small adjustments of lines.

I can send updates through email as each part of the commission is completed (basic sketch, full sketch, flat color, ect.). If this is asked for, problems can be found before I am unwilling to change them. This may slow the progress of the commission (mostly depends on how fast emails are replied to.)
Major changes to the pose and the character can only be accepted in the basic sketching stage.

I start all drawings (besides scans/pictures of traditional work) on a 3000x3000 pixel 600 resolution canvas.
Most drawing will be between 3000x3000 and 2000x2000 pixels in size. A smaller version will be posted to furaffinity.

I work in Clip Studio. I can provided the original Clip Studio file (.clip) or convert it to a Photoshop file (.psb and .psd) some layer information may be lost when its converted.

If you would like a type of commission outside of what is currently offered I am willing to negotiate. I will charge an amount estimated to be more than what the commission will cost. I will refund extra money, based on the amount of time it takes to finish the commission.
