Almost forgot...
Posted 12 years agoAs easy as it is to click on the icon leading here and submit something, I find I have been slacking lately.
Oh goodness...
Posted 12 years agoLooks like I'm going through something again, not sure how to explain it. Either way, this is a road I choose to tread bitter and alone. I will figure things out, realign myself and be back to functional some day. For now, put up with any dismal poetry I put up, I beseech thee.
SAY WHAT?!
Posted 13 years agoI can post my poetry in the form of a submission?! WHY AM I SO BEHIND?! ><
Craptastic Freestyle
Posted 13 years agoSitting, staring blankly at the empty canvas before me.
Thought seems to elude my lost mentality.
I patiently await the clarion call of another.
A shipwrecked shell of a man, baking on desolate land.
When will you grace me with your siren song?
So I may once again roam, guided by you.
Will you leave me forever in decay?
No, you slowly soothe my restless soul again.
You lead me closer, one note at a time.
I swim through the ocean, taking heed to surrounding.
"I will reach you!", I cry out to thee.
I lack concern for time that elapses.
As long as we reunite, time is endless for us.

The Fleeting
Posted 13 years agoStricken from the very home it once resided.
All that is left upon the threshold are many unanswered inquiry.
One that stands out the most from these is "What?"
What was it that was taken from my abode?
Should I seek it out, or is it a lost cause?
No, I shan't abandon this anomaly of the heart and mind.
So on I tread, lost in a blackened forest of hopelessness.
With each step, my goal seems to have drifted farther away.
As I fall, I kneel as if beseeching this unknown entity.
"Please return", alas, there is no sign of halting.
I call to it again, but to no avail.
It has slipped out of the dense wood and away.
The feeling that my husk is left with is hollow.
I lie there, panting, wondering, "What?"

His Excellency
Posted 13 years agoMy hold over this desolate land is reaching it's apex.
Soon I will lay my across it and sew seeds of new.
As I await their growth, I will give the speech declaring my victory.
This barren dimension will spring up vegetation of diversity.
As the fruits begin to bare, my name will echo through the land.
This world will be mine and only mine to lead.
But for now, I am but a humble man awaiting his moment.
My subjects slowly will follow along my arduous path.
Through this hellish world we travel, taking note of what it is.
No, what it once was as we make it ancient history.
