Posted 14 years agoI am planning on doing a massive Iron Artist challenge in the near future to raise money for some important projects. I also have some new artwork that is almost ready to be posted. I first have to finish up a comic commission for a good friend of mine. He has been extremely patient and I owe him much for his patience.

If the art is BW or COLOR then the price is different due to the level of work put into each format. If any additional pictures are requested to be added to each chapter then I will charge an extra $0.25 per piece of B/W art. And $0.50 for each piece of COLOR art.

Major Update.... Coming Son
Posted 16 years agoWell, it has been entirely too long since I last updated my journal and I must appologize for that. A lot of things have been happening in my life and due to these things I haven't had the time to update. However, that will soon change as I am getting ready to upload a lot of new stories as well as some new artwork. Once I get my scanner to work again I'll upload new art.
As for the Spyro project... It is still ongoing and this is the year that some actual concrete artwork and various other details should be coming out. Also, I plan to start taking commissions in the near future. I just have to get everything setup first.

Fund Raiser...
Posted 18 years agoHey everyone... I am preparing to do what will be my first fund raiser. I am making a pdf version of one of my finished Jamie's Quest prequel stories available for anyone who would be interested in purchasing a copy. I plan to start submitting my material to various other places as well. I am currently building a website for my company.
The 30+ page book will serve as warm-up for the rest of my novels to come. I will be putting a small sample of the short story up for you guys to read to see if you guys like it or not.
I would love to give this story out for free if I could but I have a slight funds problem on my end. I have bills... yeah don't we all have too many blasted bills to pay these days. I am trying to get the money to take care of a few of these bills and also get some funds saved up for my $2000 company server I am currently building for my future online TV network and website hosting. For everyone who helps me out I will give you free website space once the server is up and running. The server I am building is a terabyte server so there is more then enough room for me to give free hosting for those of you who want website space but can't afford it.
The short book is priced at only $2.50 and it will be download only. I do have some signed paperbacks I made years ago but they are in bad shape thanks to all the moving I have done over the years due to the constantly changing prices of rent. Otherwise, I am planning to make more of my finished works including a 250 page novel based on the upcoming Rising Dragons animated series available for online purchase in the future... once I finished writing it of course.

Animated Series On The Way...
Posted 18 years agoThis entry to my slowly growing list of journals is to talk about the upcoming animated new shows in development that I am actively working on.
Projects No. 1 & 2: Rising Dragons & Chronicles
Both of these projects are linked to each other due to the fact that Rising Dragons is the prequel series to the Chronicles series. So expect to see some of the same characters from Rising Dragons in Chronicles. These two projects are part of a 3 part saga of series. The first series in this saga is:
Project No. 3: Jamie's Quest
This is the project that started it all... Jamie's Quest is the elder series to this whole saga and it has had the most development done on it. An unpublished novel has been done for nearly 2 years on this project. I am revising it for publication in the near future. This series serves as story that takes place in an alternate universe/reality. This alternate universe will pop back up in Rising Dragons and Chronicles.
Expect to see artwork from this series on this site soon and a few character designs from Chronicles. The saga as a whole follows the family lines of most of the main chracters in all 3 shows. The different tribes of shapeshifters/weres/??? are all of unique origins and backgrounds. Jamie's Quest is a the series that takes place 1000s of years before Rising Dragons and Chronicles. Rising Dragons takes place in 2015 in our universe dealing with an end of the world situation. 7 humans, each with powers that they are just starting to understand, are chosen to be our the saviors of our world. The final saga, Chronicles, which takes place in 2025 deals with the unresolved events and business that was left unfinished in Rising Dragons.
This whole saga as whole tells the story of hundreds of different heroes, villains and witnesses over the course of centuries of time. The whole saga takes place in the past, present, future and alternate timelines and universes. The whole saga revolves around legends and ancient prophecies. So if any of you are curious about these projects then ask away.

My History and Dealings with the Studio System
Posted 18 years agoMy two companies, Adventure Movies Studios (Film Division) & Star Magic Entertainment (Animation Division) are being formed to give people like us a chance to turn our own ideas into what we want to see. I am so damn tired of the way film and animation studios operate presently that I just get sick to my stomach when I have to deal with them. I have contacted many companies over the years including Disney (who I truly dislike for what they did when I sent them a Lion King 2 idea that they initially rejected but then ironically used a slightly modified version of it two years later...) Plus, they killed Gargoyles, which was one of my favorite shows... idiots! This is one reason I would never let them get their grubby little hands on any of my projects.
They would find some way to screw them up by not letting the story be fully told. I rather turn my series into a series of novels if the animated series idea doesn't work out then work with them. Let's just say I have some history with them and none of it has been positive... I just leave it at that. Also there is the fact that Disney killed pretty much all of their 2d animation departments in favor of going 3d. How stupid can they be. 3d animation is cool and all but it isn't 2d animation. 2d animation, to me, has always been something I like to see due to the fact that I like to see animators really work their asses off to create these lovely works of art. 2d animation is art form that truly love and would hate to see go the way of the dinosaurs. The other companies aren't much better. They are so damn concerned about making a profit that they either ruin a good idea by running it into the ground or not doing it properly.
Dreamworks is one of the few companies that wouldn't mind working with due to Spielberg and Katzenberg. I would love to work with them. Hey, who knows what the future holds...

Animation Projects

This is my first journal entry here and I think introductions are in order. Greetings, my name is Nathaniel Watson II and trust me you guys are going to be seeing my name a whole lot in the future. No, that isn't to sound arrogant. I am just saying I planned to become a major online presence. My company is working on developing an online network for original animated shows and films. The network, AMTV, is a work in progress and there is no current launch date for it yet but still be on the lookout for it.
I have alot of projects in the works and they are all furry and dragon related animated, comic book and video game ideas that I have been developing for over ten years. The first project up is the Spyro film project which I am working very hard on. I am currently building a website and drawing the film poster. I have a few 3d backgrounds already done and I am currently working on writing the songs that will be in the film. This project is currently casting for parts. I am using my voice in the film for Spyro and Hunter but the other roles are opened. The details for this project are up on Spyroforum.com. So go check it out. If anyone has any questions then AIM me. I am almost always online.
The other projects are much larger in scope. In fact they qualify for franchise status considering that is what I plan them to be. Alot of these ideas are currently being copyrighted so I can't reveal any info on them at the moment but novels and comics based on these various projects should be popping up in the near future.
