So, even though the header says Christmas, this can be any kind of winter holiday (Solstice, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, New Year's, etc) or just a winter scene, no holiday involved. Rules are below. Be sure to read them as they will be a bit different.

RULES:

1) You must be a watcher to enter. HOWEVER, you cannot enter yourself. It's the holidays and in the spirit of giving you will have to nominate a friend. Don't worry, the images will be rated E for everybody!

2) You must provide a visual reference of the character, Would prefer a clothing ref if not I will use basic/generic clothing depending on the image theme.

3) You will need to provide a holiday/winter scene.

4) You have until Nov 23rd to enter. At which point I will use a random number generator to pick winners.

5) Characters can be male or female (or herm!) but furry characters only please.

6) You can enter multiple friends. Please post each individual character in their own comment. To keep things organized for my own sanity, I will post a SUBMISSIONS COMMENT for entries. Any entry that isn't a reply to said comment will not be counted. I will hide any entry that does not follow this rule without warning and unless you resubmit, you will not be entered.


There will be THREE winners and they each get their own pic. The art will be done no later than New Year's Eve (Dec 31) assuming I get no commissions in the mean time. Paid work does take priority.

Jjust got word my cousin died

I/m fine, but it came from no where.

Will be going to the funeral in the next couple of days. Until then, art I owe will be on hold. I'll be taking my laptop but I can't promise I'll be able to do nything while with family.

I have, with a heavy heart, decided not to do the raffle this year. My mental health hasn't been great the last few months and I've been struggling with my art. I also need cash so I can't afford to do anything for free right now.

The next big holiday I'd do a raffle for would be Christmas/Winter Solstice/ *insert other yuletide activities here*. Assuming I'm in a better place, I'll do that one.

Again, sorry guys. Believe me when I say no one is more disappointed than I am.

I've not been home the last couple of weeks and it'll be about another two before I'm back. I'll try to get a sketch out for the school house raaffle winners but I will probably end up waiting til I get home to bang it out and finish it. It's been extremely uncomfortable to draw where I am and it's making me not want to draw and you guys deserve better.

TLDR: Will try to sketch out a WIP but odds are I'll wait til I'm home in 2 weeks.

I don't understand how people throw money at artists who never deliver and then keep asking for more commissions just to have people throw more money at them.

WTF is their secret? Cause I need to know. I'm killing myself on pics, trying to get them out in a timely manner and considering the time I spend on some of them, Ii'm underselling myself. Then there are artists who take money and then pick and choose their clients after they've gotten their money.

I have a few errands to run and I'll start working tonight. I do have a paid com I need to work on, just waiting on an ok to start inking and then the class pic. But, first, I'm going to be self indulgent and finish up my Bowser Day pic (just needs shading).

My laptop has been crapping up and it can't run PS very well. Good news: I have, however, bought a new one! The bad news?

IT DOESN'T HAVE A FUCKING CD DRIVE

WHY

I have Sai and use it along with PS. I use it to ink as I prefer the brushes vs PS. I just feel it have smoother lines.

HOWEVER.

I pretty much do everything else in PS, such coloring. But I currently can't install it. So the image will have to put on hold for a couple of days. I may try to sketch it out in Sai but that would be about all I would feel comfortable doing.

However, I am testing myself with my own artwork and I am currently working on a pic for Bowser Day (which is the 4th if you're curious).

TLDR: Old laptop is a piece of shit. New laptop is a fucking cunt. School image is being postponed. Working on Bowser pic in the meantime as practice for Sai coloring.

I mean, I realize it's just a couple of days but when I owe someone art, I want to get it down as soon as possible. But you guys have been pretty understanding and I appreciate that. I'm hoping you will be this time, too.
