Which, courtesy of a friend of my mom's, is mostly being relocated to be used as fire wood this winter. The remainder is in a happy little pile on the curb waiting for pick up.

DELAYS DUE TO WHAT THE INSURANCE COMPANY CALLS "AN ACT OF GOD," AFKAFDAGAF.

Okay, I'm finally gonna ask for some advice.

I have a handful of traditional commissions I need to do. Like... four, really. I've got three of them sketched, but I'm this weird perfectionist who feels the need to do them in the set order I have them in in my head. So three are sketched and one has been in this weird limbo for so long that I can't really remember when I first got stuck.

Half of my prismacolor markers died, especially colors I use often (grays, browns, reds, etc). I ended up buying a set of markers from a brand I've never used. They were cheaper, I was broke-ish, and it was the only way I'd get the colors I needed. Problem being that the ink is really watery and--despite the fact I've seen people do amazing things with these particular markers--I have basically maimed this picture. It's a streaky mess I can hardly stand to look at, let alone finish.

I'd like to think it could be salvaged. I'm hoping so at least.

I figured I'd ask anyone willing to listen... anyone got any ideas on how to make a streaky image work? I really liked the image before I "ruined" it, so it'd be a shame to leave it half-finished and start anew.

Any tips would be appreciated. :3

Just a lot of things going on, so I may be extraordinarily slow. If you'd like to request I just hurry it up, go ahead and gimme a prod. A lot of you have every right to rush me, ahahaha.

All the traditional commissions have been sketched (NOT SCANNED JESUS CHRIST JARI, TYPE THE WORD YOU MEAN AND NOT THE ONE YOU'RE THINKING). Ivan, Katherine, and Mashi? Yours are finished.

Fafnir, the two remaining commissions are sketched. One is inked. One is flat colored, but looks a bit off. I'm gonna do a digital version of it as well, and send you the traditional one anyway; I just don't like the way it turned out on paper, so I wanna do at least one I'm proud of.

In scanner news: IT'S NOT THE SCANNER IT IS MY COMPUTER. Dante is falling apart. The fan only works when you hit it, ports are dying. It's just a mess.

Within the next little while, by the good graces of a friend, I should have a cheap replacement that will work muuuuch better. So, I may have means to scan this stuff in the near future. :D

Because my scanner is busted and my camera is out of commission (batteries, or my friend's scanner; we'll see which one comes first), I decided to let you know about the, uh, stuff I've got done lately.

Since what I've been doing is traditional, hahaha.

- Your monster bust is done, save the blood. I wish my scanner worked so I could scan the mofo, because FFFF I am so proud. MAYBE I'LL JUST FINISH, SEND, AND HAVE YOU SCAN IT FOR ME. :B

- Your decapitated zombie head is in the process of being shaded, but--yet again--sans blood.

- One is flat colored, albeit I am not happy with it. Once I get a camera/scanner access, I'll show you what I got and let you decide if you want a do-over. I have your second commission inked, and the third sketched. Again, I'll show you once I have camera/scanner access. X_X

- I HAVE YOUR RABBIT WITH GUNS SKETCHED. FFFF OMG. I'm so impatient and I hope you like it when I do get it scanned/photographed/transferred to you via telepathy.

On a side note: UH. Okay, question to anybody who would happen to know anything about scanners.

My computer? Has just up-and-up decided my scanner doesn't exist. I've reinstalled drivers, I've changed ports, I've rebooted the PC, reset the scanner... everything. But it still doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

A-anyone know how to fix that...? Or am I kinda borked?

Apparently, the people at my post office are as dumb as a rock and half as useful. In the past month, I've found that one person never even got what was mailed to them, and two things have been sent back to me long after I thought they either reached their destination or were lost in the void.

Case in point: Something just got back to me today that I mailed out almost a year ago.

So, commissioners who have been expecting mail? Please, if you have NOT got what was sent to you, please tell me. If you feel it has been lost, I will re-do it digitally and send you the high-res file so you don't have to worry about it being lost in transit AGAIN.

Just be wary that if I am going to replace it, it may be put on the backburner for a while, due to the fact I need to slog through commissions I've not even started. But it WILL get replaced.

You just have to let me know. :3
