Co-commission opportunity: SFW, technology/machines/aircraft
Posted 8 years agoThis is a SFW picture involving machines / aircraft. It'll be an action pose of my dire machine character Kerrigan, another dire machine (which will be based off your character's likeness in a way), and two light fighters with pilots in squadron formation. A little bit of lore/fun, since Kerrigan is a squadron leader.
Illustrated in color by
oniontrain , Cost: $60, we'll split it 50/50, $30 each.
Not first come, first serve - basing the second D.M off near-future tech, like Kerrigan. The other fighters on the side will be something like future variants of F-16s or Gripens.
As always, I'll pick a winner, popularity or personal friendships to me will be weighted the same as people who watch/enjoy what I post.
Post your character, and what 4th or 5th generation aircraft you wanna near-futurize a likeness of your character from!
Include the word: Afterburner in your post so I know you read the whole journal.

It's been a busy busy summertime for me, I haven't posted too much else but I am alive and do have some things to unveil for everyone who still checks my uploads out.
The big one is a new character: a futuristic Dire Machine (sentient, intelligent vehicle, in this case, an aircraft) my friend thorphax and I have been working on the past few months. Inspired by none other than ratbat's creations in her world of fiction. Definitely more on the unorthodox side when it comes to content already in my gallery, but more of the same tends to get a bit dry over time - change is good! I will be ready to unveil the reference sheet in the coming week.
In other news, I might be moving to the Seattle area early next month - it's not a sure thing, but a high possibility.
I hope everyone's been well!

Posted 8 years agoFirst off, I hope everyone's having a great Summer so far, and people at BLFC - that convention looks super fun, I'm sure everyone who was able to attend thoroughly enjoyed their time there.
It's hard to believe I've been through five birthdays here on FA since I became active from lurker status for a couple of years. I appreciate all of you guys - friends, watchers, lurkers, people who find my uploads easy to enjoy. I will be 32 here in a couple of days, ya'll don't need to gift anything to me, unless you'd like to, but it's fantastic still being a part of the community and see a regular group of people posting on my uploads. I enjoy replying to them when I can, the mixture of comments keeps me wanting to upload the artwork I receive to my page here.
Syldria as a character grew a whole bunch in that time as well, lots of small changes over time adding up to a very pleasant look, so I'm really happy where she's at today in terms of design. I created a number of other characters as well including my old main character, Shin - you remember him, right? I'm thinking of giving him some more of the ol' spotlight, since Syl's obviously the star among my own characters and she needs to share said spotlight! What do you guys think?

Anyone, feel free to point me in the direction of some people who might be down for this sort of exchange or just post right here if ya got a style I might like.

Posted 10 years ago...you do all kinds of convoluted troubleshooting, only to find out that it was just a dead Ethernet cable causing my internet to not work. Popped a spare into the router and holy shit it's like that time I upgraded from 256kbps DSL to 1Mbps DSL way back when.
