Ok so I know I haven't been very active in posting art here. The reason for that is I have not been able to produce much art in the past month. In the beginning of June I finally was able to get a full time job. I've worked there for a full month now and I'm hoping to get a permanent spot there. But thanks to my early morning hours I have had trouble bringing myself to draw very much. However, I've started doodling in my sketchbook this week at work to help me get started drawing again.


I won't be taking any more regular commissions as the list has gotten too large and the stress of normal commissions has overwhelmed me. All commissions already on the list are still happening and are going to get completed, so please do not think I mean that I won't be doing those.

I will however still be doing YCH auctions and character adoptions here and there and if I have the time I may take things like chibi and icon commissions. Those will be posted about in journals in the future,

SORRY FOR THE ABSENCE

After the con ended, my depression has been at an all-time low. This has kept me from being able to do the things I need to do as quickly as I usually do them, I have been little by little getting online and getting YCHes/Commissions worked on but they are coming along.

I've also been doing a lot of thinking. Recently I've dealt with with unending stress due to my commissions on top of a commissioner threatening to report me over something I never said. And honestly? I'm done. Regular commissions are never happening again. Aside from the people I have already talked to already, I won't be taking any more commisions. Once all of the ones on my list are done, I will not be taking ANY more commissions. I will be keeping to YCH auctions and possible event commissions every once in a blue moon, but nothing more.

I'm sorry to anyone who had wanted a commission in the future who had not contacted me, but I'm dead-set on this decision.

So 16 more days til MTAC! Woo..I guess.
I get really high levels of anxiety the closer cons get to being here so I'm partially excited and partially mortified.

I was wondering if anyone here will be attending the con in ol' Nashville in more than a couple of weeks?
If so I'll be there as Wendy from Gravity Falls and will be with my fiance' who will be Umbreon one of the days and Barry Burton the rest of the time as well as a friend dressed as Cherry from Studio Killers

I'll also have my sketchbook and all with me and may do some little doodles for people while I'm there!

Lately I've felt terribly alone. I rarely see any of my friends anymore and honestly feel like now that I'm out of school I'll just be forgotten. I don't have anything to 'bond' with people over, I'm losing my art muse, and I feel like I'm stuck in one place while everyone else moves forward. All in all I just feel unwanted.

I don’t plan on telling my parents about my demisexuality mainly because they’ll think I was trying to be ‘different’ instead of, you know, actually BEING demisexual. I know for a fact that my dad doesn’t think there can be relationships without sex so It’s impossible to talk to him about asexuality. I could not imagine attempting to explain demisexuality.

I can barely explain it to other friends without getting weird looks.

I think what it boils down to is the refusal to listen and understand. To them I’m just cut and dry ‘straight’ when I have never been that at all. I learned I was biromantic in high school, and figured out I was demisexual within the past year because i couldn’t understand myself and did not take the time to. Instead I just told myself there was something wrong with me. I still sometimes tend to wonder if there is something wrong with me, but finding groups that educate on asexuality and it’s many forms helped me to keep those thoughts away more and more.

why did I write this? Idk, I guess I’m just getting some thoughts outta my head
