So next Saturday the Utah humane Society will be holding a fundraiser and they would like for fursuiters to come and help out too. We are going to Hollywood Connection (3217 S.Decker Lake Dr. West Valley, Utah 84119 *Across from the Maverik Center*) on June 15th at 2PM-5PM where we will be providing entertainment and support for the Utah Humane Society. They will have a booth there with a collections box and adoptable animals. We will have 2- 4 suiters wearing Humane Society shirts and helping pass out flyers, engaging guests in entertaining behavior. Hollywood connection will be providing a room to use for a fursuit lounge. Fursuiters of all kinds are welcome to suit, wither they be full or partialWe want as many suiters as we can get to go, but NOTE that each suiter will be required to have a handler with them at all times. If you do not have a handler one will be provided. If one cannot be provided then you WILL NOT suit. This is required by Hollywood connection.Hollywood connection also has requirement for the fursuiters when interacting with their guests. 1. Please let the guest choose wither or not they want to interact.2. Do not pick people up and keep hands above waist of each guest.3. Polite and respectful behavior.4. Be safe.These are the same requirements they have for their own mascot.

So im fursuiting tomorrow and should be getting some pics and videos. Im just like uber excited too cause i will be meeting a friend i met online in person too. Its also going to be the first time i have had my full suit out in summer weather without air conditioning so this will be fun.

So i am getting really frustraited. I made the foam base for mcy paws and used tape to get a pattern well after cutting the tape off and marking the foam and tape for one paw i sort of have a pattern. I am able to get everything fine except the toes which is frustrating me beyond belief. no matter how i try i just cant get the pattern right for the toes i had to give up on it tonight and possibly a day cause i think i failed epicly with the tape pattern somehow. I only have so much white fur i know i can try at the patterns about 3 times with enough fur but i just keep having problems getting this right. I dont want to resort to finding a builder that i can send the base to since i have done so much work on this so far and i dont want to give up because of a foot paw lol. I just needed to vent this frustraition somewhere. These paws are the last thing that needs fur for my suit to be 100% complete and i just feel like somehow the paws are mocking me. I hope i can get some progress done on them when i try attempt 2 after i let them sit for a day to clear my mind.

So right now I have a full fursuit but im still working on furring the feet. Which gives me time to start wondering how do i really want to "premiere" Jase. There has been talk about going to dairy queen while in full suit which would be the same day i would be working with my handler teaching him the signs that i use which all come from scuba diving and the universal signs fursuiters use. It would be cool to hear any tips and stories from the first time suiting from any other fursuiters.

- I have been re-learning the "Thriller" dance and learning some line dances, well I decided to put on my partial and go out into my driveway. I was doing the thriller dance and I noticed that almost every car that was going by was slowing down to a crawl to watch me and that all my neighbors across the street were in their front yard just watching me run through the "Thriller", "Macarena", and "The Watermelon Crawl"

Experienced a hater?
- Does my little sister and mother count. My little sister thinks my head looks creepy and has told me a few times, whereas my mother doesn't like the fact that I spent a lot of money to buy it (Even though my cost for a full suit is going to stay under about $500-$600 and I have told her to commission one its going to cost around $2,000 lol)

- I won't count the time I fell asleep since I wasn't moving around. The longest I have been in suit was a house Party I was DJ'ing at. I did about a 3 1/2 Hour set in fursuit.

And finally...
Most memorable moment in fursuit?
- Well I only have two memorable moments that are tied. The first was my little dance session in my driveway. It made me laugh because I was attracting so much attention and making everyone basically do a double take. The other was the house party I DJ'd at. The reactions out of the dance floor when I took over the decks was so funny and It definitely made me the DJ everyone was talking about after the party for few weeks to bad I haven't found any pictures of it yet.

Man this has been an adventure I made the foam base for my feet paws about a week ago and I'm still finding little pieces of foam everywhere they somehow even found their way into my truck. Everywhere I turn there is still random pieces of foam hiding. It is worse to clean up than confetti. Now I am ripping the seams from an old jumpsuit so I can start making a test body out of some fabric that I got for very cheap at walmart. I never realized just how long it takes to rip all of the seams on the thing I am about halfway through with the ripping. This has been such a fun project with its ups and downs but I will be so glad when I have a finished fursuit.

So So I don't know what is funnier that fact I'm relearning the thriller dance in April or that I have practiced what I know so far a few times while in a very partial fursuit (Head, Tail, and just foam feet I'm waiting on the fur to finish him lol) in my driveway causing the people driving by to slow down and watch lol. Oh well at least the thriller dance is more common than the watermelon crawl line dance. Sometime I think I just need to record this randomness.
