Wow its been a while... Convention time!
Posted a year agoI don't know if anyone will even see this but I'm still up and going and making a new way for myself. I hope everyone is well, even though the past years have been rough on all of us in many ways. Its almost convention time here! I am so ready to take a break from my studies and get on up to Dallas for TFF! I hope to meet a lot of cool furs there and make new connections!

Posted 7 years agoToday is an exciting day! My first fursuit outing will be at minimini con here in San Antonio. I will be with my daughter who will be helping me around. I am so nervous but super excited! Its gonna be fun and a learning experience.

Posted 7 years agoWow, after 18 almost 19 years in this wonderful fandom I finally did what I've wanted to do forever and commissioned a fursuit. I am so excited! Soon it will be here and I'll make an unboxing video. Looking forward to all the fun and really bringing Jash to life! I guess I'll have to chane my profile from wanna be to actual fursuiter.

Posted 10 years agoI had a dream last night that I got a beaver fursuit, even had the name Jashire at the base of the tail...how strange...
Just a quick fursuiting thought/question.
Posted 11 years agoWell as I try my best and save up for a fursuit (which I have seen are only getting more expencive as I try and save lol) a question came to my mind. I (Jash) Make a plethora of sounds from the little mew, to a leopards roar/screech, to BURGERMEW!, a wolfs howl, and more. I wanna try to make these the best I can when I get a fursuit one day. I was wondering though is it possible to have these sounds made electronically so they are consistent and can be put out without muffling the sounds because of the foam and fur. Something I could turn on and off and control at the right moments. Has anyone ever heard of others doing this kind of thing in suit? Just a thought.

Posted 11 years agoOkay, after some months of going back and forth and help from family and furiends (yes I did that :P); I have chosen the color pattern for Jash. I loved the black on top white on bottom look my daughter colored so I'm gonna go with that one. I think it would not only look great in a suit but in as art as well. So the burgermew has a reverse skunk look...I think it suits me just fine!

Before TFF I didn't really think of how I wanted him to look, but now that I really am wanting a fursuit I guess that is something I have had to consider. Well with the help of an awesome artist (Tatta) and my daughter who is wonderful with digital coloring I got two color patterns for the pantherwolf.
So...if I could have a little advice on which one they think I should go with for Jashire more for fursuit purposes, but also for future art commissions. Thanks so much in advance for the advice.

Fursuiting Dreams
Posted 12 years agoSo for two out of the last three nights I have had a dream about getting a fursuit. The first one three nights ago I was getting a panther one, and last night I had received a white rabbit fursuit. The dream last night was the one that felt so much more real. In the dream I actually got in the suit and was able to go and entertain lots of people by just walking around and interacting with them while my son took pictures. It was one of those dreams where you wake up and though it was very nice you are sad cause it had to end and...well I don't have a fursuit like that yet. I will say though that having dreams like these only make me want it more and more. Like most people in the fandom money is the issue but I know if I can just save up enough I will get my suits.
Also just in case anyone is actually wondering... I do have a rabbit char, Ruko, that I do plan to get a fursuit of. He, however, just like all my chars is all black furred.

Posted 12 years agoSo I got my first cooking job on Saturday. It is only for one night but its in a professional kitchen, lunch AND dinner service. To say the least I am a bit nervous as this will be my first time doing this kinda thing away from school without my chef profs leaning over my shoulder. I know I can do this and I hope this will be the start of what I've wanted to do for so so long. Wish me luck!

Posted 12 years agoOk so not really lol. Anyway things are well and if tax time goes very well I'll be seeing everyfur at TFF yay! I have resolved to use the bonuses I get at work to get my fursuit...that does push the date that I wanted it back far but that's ok, it gives me more time to loose the weight I want to loose and get a suit that is really awesome.
Speaking of that I have been doing very well on my weight loss... hopefully I will be at my first goal by TFF wish me luck. STAY FURRY!!!

Fursuiting!
Posted 13 years agoI want a fursuit...its something I've wanted for over a decade now and I think I may be closer than ever to being able to get one. Also I've noticed in my area there are a few furs that fursuit. Only question now is that...well I'm 31 now not 21...could I still really handle the wearing a fursuit. Im guessing like everything else if I do get one I will get better at it with time. So this leads to some questions for all my fursuiting friends out there...
Is one ever to old to start fursuiting?
What is the best way to get used to being in suit when I get one?
Is it best to get something like a partial or should one jump into sull suiting?
Is fursuiting just for meets and cons or do you fursuit around the house(apartment)?
In any case I am very much looking forward to getting a suit...I don't know who I would be getting it from so I've been looking all across Furaffinity and at the big names in suiting; Clockwork Creatures, Onefurall, Mixed Candy, Don'tHugCacti, ect. I know in the end I wants at least two suits. One a serious black wolf, and the other a toony panther. I think I will do the wolf first and then the panther but I guess it more depends on who's available as well. Well that's all from this little black pantherwolf for now.

Turkeyday!!
Posted 13 years agoWell another thanksgiving has come and gone with the family. it was nice but this year there seemed to be something...I don't know...off about being around family this year. Both my vixykat and I felt this strange vibe but hey it may be just us.
Food was good, got lots of left overs and I can't wait to make my after turkey-day sammich for lunch. Well I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving even though this year has had to have been the roughest year we have been through so far we still do have a lot to be thankful for.

Posted 13 years agoSo its that time again...lease is almost up.and moving day is close. Its not that we dont love this place but its way too much and honestly we have been waiting sense half way through to just get out and go to a place to save money. But first we gotta find the right place for us and the cubs. Wish us luck.
Also it seems i REALLY need to get back into the furry swing of thingss if we moove into aplace we can more afford i also will be putting a down payment on a suit...been wanting a personal suit ever sense i became a fur. There even seems to be furs.near me i hope to meet all yoi SA and srrounding area furs soon. Well thats it.for now.
