Been a while since I last reported. Haven't had much to report, stuff was coming in, items where being sent out. However as this being the internet, no news = Panic.

So heres what's been happening. In February James had a little personal issue, if you follow his Furaffinity or Inkbunny pages you might know what had happened. Hes ok, but he was delayed a bit by it. We're still waiting on the people that put in for commissions to respond. If you feel you have already responded to me or Jim, send me a private note.

Hes been pushed back a bit to complete his sheets/wall posters of the Girls.

Evil Diva Vol #1 went on Pre-order in Feb and made 500 sales. While 600 was the desired amount, it was better then the absolute cut off of 450. However Diamond would (as well as my self) like to see Evil Diva and the rest of our books hit 600. The next pre-order round will be in MAY for Volume #2, and SWIPE the completed edition will be Available then as well. We've just started out with Diamond so they'll give us some leway but if we don't start putting up the numbers soon they may drop us. The New Extinctioners and Andorozon and Skunkworks/Catawall/Penance books are still being worked on, and if we're dropped before they are completed those series might not continue at all.

This won't prevent those who already ordered the books (hardcopy or Digital) for via this Kickstarter, to get their copies, but a wider release wouldn't happen, as well as stated above these series wouldn't get a chance to continue. If you are a fan of Evil Diva, SWIPE, Andorozon, Skunkworks, or Extinctoiners; Then we could really use your support in May.

As for the 3 commissioners of Josh Perez's work. While his commission deadline is a bit later in the year, he is trying to get them done sooner, as one of the colorists for IDW's Transformers hes called away quite a bit.

The Artica action figure (first of the 3 figures from this Kickstarter) was delayed about 1 month in production time to get the 3D model to better match the toy's base form.

Just I really do. Also some how find a way to stop working at GE. While My real desire would be to be a Science Teacher, or work as a research scientist, I'd also wouldn't mind doing art more. But it doesn't pay, and I'm not skilled enough for it to be a paying gig. And right now I need something "Stable" to keep the comic company going, take care of my self and my ma.


I need to stop working at GE its making me a very angry person. In my whole life I can honestly say before working at GE theirs been 7 REAL times I've ever been scary mad/Angry. SINCE working at GE I've already matched that. :(

last year a Guy made a joke about me looking like Trayvon Marten in a hoody and I'd better watch out or I might get shot if I have skittles and Arizona in my hand. I gave a very dark angry "HA!. HA! HA!" but its been bothering me all year. And besides some things I've been hearing him act with... Yeah their sense of humor is ughh at best, even for some one like me who doesn't fully get human humor, somethings even I know isn't funny. Anyway

A guy who just got back from Iraq whos 3 years younger than me, is also having a time with the other guy. The whole Old vs. Young stuff. But I guess thats also been eating at me all year too.
So yesterday (3-23-13) I saw him in a hoody and I snapped at him shaking with kaio-ken Times 90 level rage. I was SURE I'd turn super sayian with the anger I had. I was almost off the ground with the trembling and yelling at him with saying "oh its ok for you to wear a hoody but If I do, I better watch out or I'll get shot like Trayvon" I'm not used to being this angry all the time (or even at all) plus with my heart STILL not fully working well.. I just can't be here to much longer, however unfortunately theirs no real options in this economic situation (and with my slow ability to learn physical skills. And I can't just jump Ship like Slugbox and many other artists and self support with art since well I don't digital Crayon gud) :/ I need the money to keep supporting my self, and the people in the company as well as my mom.

Brother finally moved out though and is back with his wife, Hope shes not driving him nuts anymore. Would have been nice if he had a job while he was here and helped pay some bills. :/

So this is it. Just 1 Day left to Pre-Order Evil Diva Vol #1 from Diamond's Previews catalog. We won't know the results until early March, but hopefully we got enough orders to stay in Diamond. So as some of you can see from my rambling video here, things are moving along. I'm quiet
but busy. Running a comic company and getting toys, posters, and comics made is such "fun".

Anyway as said we had a lot of plans "JUST IN CASE" this kickstarter went unbelievably high
like some other kickstarters around here have done. Some of those plans where to acquire
comic licenses that I believe most of you would have been surprised to know we have been in the running to get.

While our end funding level was nowhere near the amount needed to secure the licenses,
theirs still other possibilities. If our books in Diamond's Previews catalog are well received, we may be able to use the funds to secure a few of those licenses that way. However that in itself would still depend on you and other fans support. The continued production and future releases of Evil Diva, SWIP, Furry Battle Corp: ANDOROZON, The Extinctioners, Dragonlast and other titles in the works as well as Angry Viking Press its self will depend on strong support, because without it Diamond will drop our listing form their catalog, and the company as well as these comics will cease to be.

I wish I could tell you which licenses we're trying to get, and it looks like one of them has already been acquired (gerr) but that is business.

We still have the "Post Kickstarter" Bulk Pre-order page ( http://www.catsncameras.com/avp/paypal.html ) up until January 15th for those of you who missed out on some of the kickstarter items and commissions. It looks like we still have 3 Commission slots for James Hardiman left open at this time for those who may still want to get on his list. After the 15th
all the Kickstarter Exclusive items will no longer be available, and some of the non-exclusive items will go up in price. As some of you may know, its less expensive to order and produce items in higher bulk amounts than it is "on demand" smaller amounts, especially if your s small company like Angry Viking Press is.

Hey All! I'm getting the Kickstarter numbers together and should have the first Surveys out by tomorrow night/ Thursday morning. Oy I'm tired. Working Days and running the company and kickstarter at night. Now on to the fun part of waiting 2 weeks for the funds to show up. After a nice Jump in pledges last week, this past week has been a bit slow! But with support from 108 backers we're JUST under $6000. WOW that's great. If 108 people can get us that far, then our goal is achievable. So if you really want to see this succeed we need your help to get the word out and let others know of this Kickstarter. Just think what the power of 200, 400, or even 1000 people could do!

Well I'm at the half way point. 21/20 days to go and just little over $6000 to my goal! Now mind you the first $5700 was made by JUST ONE HUNDRED AND SIX people. ONly 106 got me half way. Just think if all 1349 watchers of mine put down $1-$20. We have stuff from Andorozon, just added a Sachi pillow sheet for $55. Have the  Skunkworks 150-200 pg book for $18!
