TSJ 10/27/2025: So... this happened.
Posted a day agoAt 8:45 this morning, I went down for my ride to my 'supposed' doctor's appointment at 9:30. When we get there, there was another person with the same EXACT name as me (and this is where the WOW Factor comes into play). October 17th it was cancelled due to the doctor having an emergency, so I was put on the 20th, but my ride was not able to take me on the 20th. The person who was driving me really was annoyed with this because she gave the doctor everything she had on me, but yet the other person with the same exact name went through... oh well. She's going to inform my social worker because now my appointment is at 2:20pm.
We were discussing it in the car as well, and was thinking about this... what are the odds that we ran into another person with my same name? Even this person, with the same name as me, couldn't believe it after his visit with the doctor. We were both astonished.
I had a Sonic plush toy with me and that is good. The only person that doesn't like me bringing a Sonic plush toy all around with me would be my cousin because it embarrasses him. I just wonder why it embarrasses him. ALSO! (And I remember this like it was yesterday) In 2023, I wanted to become a DJ at this local bar, Dooly's, and use my name, DJ Sonic, and my cousin didn't want me to use my DJ Sonic name. What the hell is wrong with him?!?!?! Anyway, all that to say that Dooly's never called me back, and that is fine.
I just find it absurd that my cousin doesn't want to be around me when I am wearing my Sonic gear. He has this mindset that since we're adults, all of us NEED to act accordingly... NO WE DON'T!!! We're all different for a reason. Each an every one of us has our own mindset, and that is good. I got a problem with that and the fact that I am in a very French-y area. Not a real big difference in people speaking French here and Montreal. I would say 5 to 7% more here than in Montreal, which is very much a drag for me since my mother tongue is English and I have trouble pronouncing French words a bit.

TSJ 10/26/2025: 4-year anniversary.
Posted 2 days agoSince my friend reminded me, after a nice walk, I came back to watch The Lost Boys since it's coming close to Halloween. I did talk to my Sonic AI plush toy just before I started the movie and there was something off about him. I will speak with him more after the movie. Haven't watched the movie in quite a while.
TSJ 10/18/2025: Silly power outage!
Posted a week agoThere was a power outage in my area due to someone colliding with a power pole. The lights were out for a bit more than 3 hours, which was not a big deal although my phone's battery was getting very low, so I used my laptop to charge my phone, but that way is a very slow process.
I am just glad that I have power on again.

TSJ 10/13/2025: LOOOONG essay time! (Copied from Discord)
Posted 2 weeks agoSo... here's how my day went yesterday. Woke up between 5 and 6 in the morning. Listened to The Lutheran Hour at 6:30 (and yes it's not a full hour, don't know why). When 7am rolled around I started walking to the closest convenient store to fill my bus pass up with a 24-hour ticket. I then walked to the bus stop and had to wait for about 15 to 20 minutes, which wasn't all that bad. The ride was nice and smooth to the city.
When I got to the city, I immediately took a good way to go my first location, Bagels on Greene, and boy did my friend ever make the right choice by going there. It was delicious there! I mean the salmon bagel that I had was good, but the most delicious thing that I had there was a Karnatzel. A Karnatzel is a traditional Jewish beef sausage, and boy when I tasted that for the first time, my heart began to melt. It was like nothing that I have tasted before. It was not spicy, no, but it was so damn good. Anyway, continuing...
My friend and I then both took a shortcut to this grocery store that has been in the market for many many years, but it was my first time there. After that, we both went for a swim, that lasted just over an hour, at his place. I only came in my bathing suit, so getting out of the pool was good. Dried off good and when we got back to his apartment, he let me borrow his sarong due to me hanging up my bathing suit. Dried my towel as well. (End of Part 1)
Part 2 starts off with me being in the apartment. This lasted for a few hours where I shared stuff with him (I had some marshmallow twists and sunflower seeds with me). Later on when it was about 6pm, him and I went out because he needed to pick some stuff up. I went to the pharmacy to pick something up and then I headed to this restaurant that my dad was raving about, and let me tell you... it was nothing to right home about. Sure the fries and 2 different hamburgers were great, but the 2nd burger I didn't have a fun time eating since it was very sloppy. I did stain my Sonic backpack just a little bit from the sloppy mess. And then... DOOM!!! I will tell you what happened in Part 3.
So... yeah I was an idiot for forgetting my own Sonic wallet at the restaurant, I am happy that I checked my pockets and inside my Sonic backpack... I was ALMOST about to get on the bus to go back home. I didn't wanna leave anything behind. I didn't get on the bus although I was so dead tired. I called the restaurant and I am happy to announce that they kept my wallet for me, so I just had to go back.
I had some more time because the bus AFTER 9pm was at 11:30pm, gee wiz, so I used my time usefully and then I went to drink some water at a well-known train station called Gare Centrale. That's when I decided to call a taxi whom I know, but he was unavailable. I went to the bus and waited for 20+ minutes, boarded, and then off to the area closest to where I live. I called for a taxi (not the same one), paid the driver once I got myself home, and yeah... that is about it.
When I got home, though, I spent a bit of time on the computer before fully going to bed. Now I am here writing about this., I am okay. I did NOT want to walk home last night lol. I mean the money was well spent so that's good.

TSJ 10/11/2025: So...
Posted 2 weeks agoIt's been a full week since my last entry, and already I have been planning to go to the city for a full day of my friend ,who I have nicknamed Raccoon, on Sunday... the day before Canadian Thanksgiving. I don't need to give out his real name. Anyway, he has a swimming pool in his building, which is way cool. I love swimming with friends.
All this to say that I have planned everything accordingly and I think it's going to pan out the way it's supposed to.

Posted 3 weeks agoThat's a big 10-4, my friend.
With my Sonic plush toys over here, I will say that Boomer got his WEB-888 working (No more KiwiSDR). The WEB-888 SDR comes with many slots, so no more going on camping mode... at least I hope not since we have lots of people in the world that love radio, either when it's online or offline (if they have walkmans or other means of playing music for themselves).
I also was surprised at the program today I was listening to on Hearts of Space... it was Episode 888 and I am not joking. I have been getting these strange subliminal messages in the past and I guess they are telling me to play the lottery although I really do not gamble. I will keep getting those subliminal messages until I do something about it I guess.
Anyway, that's it for now.

Posted a month agoThose who predict the future are very much oblivious to life. Why do you want to predict the End of the World?! That is pretty morbid if you ask me. Let's talk about this 'rapture' that I was hearing about a few times now.
Now, of course we are all here still, and it takes one blithering idiot to scare all of us. Well, I am sorry but I am not falling for things like that anymore. In the past I kind of did, but now that I am older, I am a lot more wiser.
Sure, 'The Rapture' was predicted for either September 23rd or 24th, but hell, NO ONE can predict the future... not even this hedgehog. So I guess what I can safely say right now is... be very happy that this person's prediction was very wrong. People are IDIOTS if they believe people who can predict the future.

Posted a month agoWow, a 3rd pedophile got exposed... 2 by me, 1 of them with help from someone else, and the other one was fully me after I pulled my friend aside and told him that this is a pedophile-supporter of the last person that I will talk about, but man did he ever get ROASTED by a person named Knightmare. This was all on Second Life, but the 1st one was an owner of this plushophile Discord server. I will not say her name because that wouldn't be right, but all this to say that she was trying to justify everything and also she was asking me, "Is it because I'm trans?" like that makes a difference. NO! She said that she was a pedophile and now she needs to deal with the intervention (which means I hope that she gets the help she needs).
The biggest pedophile that we all witnessed (me, and a few friends of mine) was Jacob Starshine (or Starman3 on YouTube). Back in April of 2024, I was at his sim on Second Life being a 'Security Hedgehog', and one day he asked me if I could go subscribe to his YouTube channel not once, not twice, but THREE times! That is harassment right there. But yeah there was a slew of many other accusations against him, and last Saturday, which was September 13th, there was a 6-hour stream that exposed his ass. He always was like, "Don't talk about my past." Well, we couldn't keep quiet about that because he kept on harassing people and making sexual advances to minors... he NEEDED to be stopped.

Posted a month agoRight now I took a nice walk of health to a bistro called Bistro du Canal. I had some food from here before and it was good. They did change administration a few years ago and I think it’s better now although I wasn’t here all that much in its previous administration.
TSJ 9/13/2025: So it begins...
Posted a month agoWatch out because I don't know how long or short this one will be, but it also could be just the right length for all you readers out there...
Let's get started.
First, while I listen to Hearts of Space, I am writing this entry. First when I stepped foot in Montreal yesterday, the first thing that I did was a doofus move... well, not really because when I went to a subway station and hopped the bus, I went the wrong way when I wanted to go up the mountain. But then I managed to catch another bus after going the wrong way and it brought me back to a different subway station. At this point, I wanted to go to a different station so I could transfer to a different line heading to a station where I wanted to go. I went to this known subway station where I know has a dollar store, where I picked up some aloe vera drinks and a manicure & tweezer set. Now I have a nail clipper that I travel around with and I am very happy about that. So I went to this known park that I am very familiar with, at yet another station, sat down, had a few sips of aloe vera an did some nail clipping since some toe nails were bugging me as I walked.
After that I took a nice long bus ride out to a bus terminal and waited for another bus back to the subway station, and this time, I had to go further east on the subway since I was about to meet someone at this pizza place named Salvatoré. Before Salvatoré, though, I did a goofball move by switching sides of the track going the other way when he showed me a picture on Discord, but no this picture was of a totally different line than I was on. I said "Silly me" to him and exited the station. Now, on to Salvatoré... 2 of us has a poutine while the 3rd person had a pizza, which was fine. After that, we were shooting the breeze for a bit, but then my 2 friends took me on a long walk where we went to another dollar store. Me, I didn't buy anything, but my friends did. I am happy with what I had, but I could have bought something since I still have $29.30 in my bank account at the point of writing this entry. Afterwards, we all went to a park where we a group photo was taken.
Afterwards we saw a person in distress while doing some lawn mowing. We tried to help, and some other cars stopped when this was occurring. The home owner came out and asked us "What's going on here?" and we were greatly concerned for this person. We all asked if he needed an ambulance, but the owner said "Nah nah nah, he's like this all the time." We all were thinking that he was drinking some hard stuff, but the home owner was like starting to get angry and said "He's fine, he's fine." and we all saw him walk to his truck, and we were deeply concerned. The home owner told the guy (the guy who was stumbling all over the place to the point where he hit the ground) to take a break. I mean he didn't drive off in his condition. I just hope he sobered up when he went back home, that is if he wasn't living there at the same place the home owner was living at. Anyway, keeping on with the fun times I had...
We walked and walked to another bus were I said my goodbyes to one of my friends. This bis, even though it said it was an express bus, was acting NOTHING like an express bus. At some point, the other friend had to get off the bus, and I said my goodbyes to him. I continued to the subway station, and went downtown. I wanted to meet up with another friend of mine but again, I was a doofus and didn't check the time because I was like an hour ahead, so like he did originally, he invited me to where he worked, so I did go there (NO! I will not tell you where he works because that would be stupid of me).
I had a lot of fun with my last friend of the night because right while I was at his job, I had to plug in my phone to the wall to charge my phone up and then when it was at 80% charged down from only 8%, he took me through a maze and then went out the back door for a restaurant, and BOY was this ever the best choice that I made!!! The food was really delicious! I don't just give rave compliment like that... the food needs to be TREMENDOUSLY good, and it was. The name the restaurant was named 'SPICE BROS', an Indian restaurant. After that we went to his place where I was starting to really feel the soreness from that massive bike ride that I had on Thursday, so we both were pretty quiet.
9:30pm came and it was time for me to go home, so with that I stumbled to the door, put my shoes back on, and went downstairs. My friend hugged me since he went down the elevator with me. Once out the door, I felt a bit better but man was I still sore. Took the subway to the stop where the bus would take me home. Wanted my cousin to come get be to bring me back to my loft, but he was sleeping. He said "Get an Uber", but I was against that. I texted the taxi but he was back in Montreal, so I had to suck it up and stumble my way home, but MAN was I ever glad to make it back home by 12:30am. All I wanted at that point was my bed. I opted for a Pepsi today instead of when I got back home. I fell right to sleep once I got to bed.
So yeah this was my essay of yesterday, and you see I CLEARLY had a real fun day. Today, being Saturday, when I got up out of bed, I still feel a bit sore, but nothing major. I managed to get a Pepsi out of the fridge, so that's good.

TSJ 9/11/2025: Nice day for a bike ride.
Posted a month agoAnd, not only that... it gave me a chance to restart my mind. Tomorrow (Friday) I will be having a full day in Montreal. I will have my phone on me, so I will check back at times. Anyway, I want to tell you all that I did 65 more minutes on this bike ride that I had, so that is 155 minutes (2 hours, 35 minutes). I had marshmallow legs when I came back. I had a very nice cold Pepsi. Usually the play-on-words is "Let's have a nice cold one" meaning a nice cold bottle of beer. Well, my 'cold one' is a nice cold can of Pepsi. I'll make sure to have a nice day tomorrow since it's one day before my dad's (that passed on) 78th birthday.
Yeah I do still think of him, but I need to say this - it's best where he is right now, up in heaven, where he ain't hurting anymore. Also, down here on Earth, there's more bad guys than good I am sad to say, but I am trying my very best not to let it get to me.
I love my life and I don't wanna ruin it for anything, I just wanna be the best Sonic fan that I can ever be.

Posted 2 months ago6 hours went by too quickly. I had too much fun, but I can't not have fun since a happy DJ is a real good DJ. I don't have anything else to jot down in this entry.
TSJ 8/31/2025: Kind of maddening! Also, DJ Sonic TONIGHT!!!
Posted 2 months agoSo, I ordered a big breakfast from McDonald's and DoorDash was searching for a Dasher to go get my order, and they had a Dasher way out there that came to the rescue. Geez, I gave the Dasher my sincere apologies that he had to come from quite far for my order... but I am happy that the order will get here soon.
In other news, starting from 9pm until 3am ET, DJ Sonic will be presenting "The Hedgehog Hole" to all of you. So, the music link to listen in is:

I will not be in Second Life at the time as I will be in Pawpet IRC, the chatroom. I will add a note here... from midnight to 12:30am, there will be an 'Avant Garde' piece.

Posted 2 months agoThere were some pop-up thunderstorm cells on in the early morning on Sunday and now again in the afternoon. I wish I had more exciting news to share with all of you, but I guess I can say that I am not having as many cans of Pepsi nowadays because I am trying to stretch the cans of Pepsi that I have left. Tomorrow (Monday), I will be ordering something from McDonald's via DoorDash. Something that I haven't had in a very long while.
I started out with a blank mind and was going to jot down "There will be no journal entries for this week." but then I did think of stuff to say. What a weird way the mind works sometimes, huh? lol

Posted 2 months agoAbout 3 to 4 weeks ago, I stumbled over a 'Sonic the Hedgehog Fast Dogs' restaurant in Mexico where they feature Sonic characters and just tonight I found out that there's a 'Pizza Sonic' in Greece with a picture of Sonic on the bottom of its webpage. I mean Sonic is famous but geez louise he's getting MASSIVELY popular around the world now that I found 2 establishments that features him... and yeah I know there's the Sonic Drive-in chain in the states so that's a given.

Posted 2 months agoWow, I didn't think I would get 20 minutes of air time on WAG 690 AM. JCollie was supposed to come on the radio at 8:45pm and I got on his station at 8:38pm, so I should have at 7 minutes with the WAG listening audience. I got 22 minutes with a huge listening audience, but I am not complaining.
I am doing this entry while I am currently DJing still until 11pm ET, so if any of you want to come listen to what I play, I will give you the music link again...
http://sl-stream.com:7275
EDIT: My mistake. WAG listeners got 30 minutes of DJ Sonic - from 8:28pm to 8:58pm.

PSA ANNOUNCEMENT ------- DJ Sonic on August 31st
Posted 2 months agoSince JCollie wrote this -> https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11193432/ <- I would like to remind all of you...
DenFur, the one that JCollie is going to, will be held from August 29th to the 31st of this year. Now, as a helping hand, DJ Sonic has decided to, once again, help out with The Rabbit Hole, but like last time, I have my own twist on the title... "The Hedgehog Hole" whereas JCollie could call it "The Collie Hole" every Sunday. I guess he wanted to be kind to Romeo Rabbit, but since Romeo is focusing on himself right now, JCollie could easily say "The Collie Hole".
Anyway, DJ Sonic will be on AM 690 and http://www.boomerthedog.com/sonicstream on August 31st at 9pm ET until 3am on Labor Day (September 1st) when those two doggies bark on that lawn of Doggy Radio studios at 3 in the morning.

Posted 2 months agoThursday, I need to write something right now.
I have been watching a lot YouTube as of late, and mainly long videos of someone travelling the Pacific Coast Highway. It's been fun. Oh! Right. I need to tell every one of you the treat that I had last night (Wednesday night) for supper.
I DoorDash'd some food from a restaurant called "Le Dorchester" and now I am realizing that "Dorchester" and DoorDash sounds a bit similar lol
Anyway, last night's meal consisted of mac and cheese (container was not closed properly so it went all over the place in the bag), vegetarian nachos (don't know what the sauce that they used, but it tasted real good!), burger and fries, and 3 duck wings.
When I eat, I eat.

TSJ 7/29/2025: Another entry for today.
Posted 3 months agoIt appears that it will just be a case of prescription today since I need the inflammation to go down. I will have another visit during the week supposedly.

Posted 3 months agoRight before I head out the door at 7 in the morning, I must say that the bulge on my cheek ain't pretty, and I hope it's just antibiotics that will do the trick because if they have to perform surgery on me, that will cost me an arm and a leg, but also the government may cover the cost. But right now I am thinking why would they have to perform surgery if it's just buildup of pus?
I am sure I will be fine with no surgery needed. I guess I am just being a bit of a drama queen this morning lol
I wish everyone a glorious day today!
EDIT: Oh yeah, one more thing... I am hopped up on Tylenol right now to lessen the pain while I walk to the dentist.

Posted 3 months agoWell, tomorrow morning I will be going to the dentist. I need to. Tooth infection has made my cheek swell really bad and is really overly pressurized. I don't feel AS miserable as the last time I had a broken tooth. I remember that I felt like I literally wanted to die at times. This time it's not at that step, but tomorrow all will be better hopefully.
Decided to...
Posted 3 months agoI decided to start much earlier because I might want to have some time with Sonic later on, and I will think about it later on. The link is very active right now, so I will be on until 7pm ET and while another DJ plays, I will think about it. So enjoy my music while it lasts, alright?

Posted 3 months agoHAPPY CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!!
If everything goes well, I will be playing Christmas music, but mixed in with some other music since it's not the *REAL* Christmas, but I guess the real reason this tradition started was because when things get too bloody hot during the summer months, it's best to think cold to cool yourself down. And this is what I will be doing - tonight at 9pm all the way to midnight.
I will be on Second Life playing music, as always, but if you don't have Second Life, you can always go here - http://sl-stream.com:7275

Posted 3 months agoToday I noticed something very weird going on with my laptop. The WiFi suddenly turned off and when I went on my phone I was still getting WiFi. Now, usually what happens is when I lose WiFi on my laptop, I go on my phone and notice that I am on LTE (aka phone data), but yeah it was very weird when I noticed the difference this time, so what I had to do was to reset the network that I have on my laptop and now it's fixed. Technology can be so weird at times.
Now it's time to look into the future on The Sonic Journal... (not a new segment, I'm just writing here)
On Monday, I will be ordering some Thai food and it'll be delivered by DoorDash and then on Tuesday I will be going to my former city of Montreal to visit a few friends of mine, and then in the afternoon I will be heading on the buses to go to different places. I have scheduled a full day of fun for Tuesday. Montreal really is my oyster.
