My Little Pony: Winter Wrap Up

It's amazing how things work out...

I was sound asleep this morning and all I could hear was the birds chirping outside. Well, there was a bird outside my window that wouldn't stop chirping. I mean, it was chirping every 30 seconds or so, and went on for several minutes (like 5-10 minutes). It was really being loud. Well, it woke me up and I roll over and I look at the clock... it's 7:50am.... WAIT 7:50AM!!!!! CRAP!!!!

I had forgotten to set my alarm last night due to the long holiday weekend. My alarm normally goes off at 7:05am. I normally hit the snooze button till 8am. This chirping bird served as my alarm clock this morning and totally saved me from being late to work.

Life is awesome sometimes. *happy*

Happiness is baking a homemade pizza with friends. I'm having fun hanging out with two cool friends,  cadpigjr and  autumnfox. Snuggles.

Now that the pizza is baking and the kitchen is clean, we are watching ponies. Yay! Best night ever (at the gala...)

Well, another birthday is in the books and I'm glad it's over. I was a bit bummed there, but I'm feeling much better! Thank you everyone for the well wishes. You all made me feel LESS EMO and more loved.

Happy Birthday to me! Tomorrow is my birthday and I officially turn old. I am so depressed... I hate birthdays. Oh don't get me wrong, I love spending time with family and friends and eating cake. It's just every birthday I get EMO and depressed as another year goes by and I feel like I've done nothing with my life.

(sigh) What is wrong with me?

I normally don't post to my FA journal, but I wanted to help get the word out... 4 of my fur friends lost their house and most of their possessions this morning when their neighbor's house caught fire which quickly spread to their apartment. Both houses were gutted.

Please keep  thrashbear ,  firefoxbc ,  landis_mclovin, and  fire_lupine in your thoughts.

Our friends have lost nearly everything they own, besides some clothes and a handful of possessions. While they have received a meager cash assistance from the Red Cross, it's not nearly going to be enough to replace all of what they lost.
