So... Okay... Let's start at the beginning: the saturday before the most recent one.

On that Saturday, I got a WiiU. It's pretty and shiny and black and LoZ themed. I got that new Mario game, Pikmin 3, and Wind Waker HD was downloaded onto it, since it was the special edition WiiU for that game anyways.
I've learned that I really like Peach because floating is fun (and has saved my ass a lot) but I still really really suck at this game. On one level (the one I'm currently stuck on), I went from like, 26 lives to 19 in a matter of minutes. Pikmin is great, and I'm actually getting somewhere in LoZ this time around!

Now onto part two, which is... Much less exciting. My mom started feeling sick that same Saturday. Really light headed and dizzy and just... Sick. Monday morning, when I woke up, she was gone. I found out later she had taken herself to the hospital, and they had done a few things then sent her home and told her to check up with a doctor in a few days. By Tuesday night, she was doing much, much worse. She hates ambulances, and actually let us call one to come pick her up.
It turns out that what had happened was that that little cyst had turned into an infection, and I'm sure most of you know how fast those can spread and grow. They did nothing for her for more than 10 hours, and it did just that. It grew and grew until they decided that instead of just being able to clean it out, that she needed to go into surgery for it, which happened... Wednesday night, I think? Something like that. They went as far as they could, and got out as much of the pus and dead tissue as they could, repacked it, and then sent her back to her room, and the other day, I was informed that she might need more surgery because they missed some. I haven't seen her since becaaaaaaaaaaause..

Part three! I got sick. I probably picked it up at the hospital, and it's probably nothing more than a bad cold, but it's still no fun. Lots of coughing and sneezing and runny noses. I love nothing more than to talk, and even that's hard. Lately, every time I breathe, there's a grinding sound that comes from my chest that causes another cough.
Last night, my dad came out of the hospital with a lot of the same... Symptoms, I guess? He's sleeping now, since he's probably all drugged up on Dayquil... I need to go steal some of it from him...

Part four: I spent the last three days hanging out with my best friend (the one who's fursona is that glaceon I posted before the break), which is the longest I've stayed with him in... Years, probably. I spent a lot of with him simply because he can drive, and because of my dad's stroke, and my epilepsy, we had no way to get to the hospital. Tony's amazing, and did a lot of taxiing both my dad and I around, usually to Rite Aid, and my dad back home from the hospital, and because his mom isn't working and has offered help too, we have a pretty reliable way to get to and from the hospital if needed.

Part five is actually connected to the last one, because it has to do with Tony, but it also has to do with Faith. The three of us have been talking about doing a call together for a few weeks now, but because I rarely see him anymore, and because he doesn't have internet, that was never a reality... Until the other day. We ended up at my house, trying to watch this anime he wanted to show me... I don't remember the name... Something about phones and diaries that predict the future or something... Idk. I like the timespace god. I have highspeed internet at my house, and thanks to timing on her part (around school and homework) and amazingness on Tony's part, the two of them were able to "meet", even so far as visually. (Yay cameras!) They're both major dorks...
Anyways... Tony has been my friend since the fifth grade (and I'm 20 now, so...~), so he's very, very important to me, and Faith is... well... My girlfriend, so she's also important to me... And I know I've thanked them both for it and have expressed how happy I was that they got along as well as they do, but... I don't think they get how much it means to me that they like each other. Excluding my parents, they are the two people in my life that mean the most to me, and it just makes me feel good that they do. I know he'll never read this, and Faith is lazy so she probably won't make it this far, but... Thank you guys, really, for cheering me up after all of this has happened.

And finally, part six: I found a new addiction I didn't need... I've been wanting to play Assassin's Creed for years now, and the other day, Tony and I hit Gamestop for... I don't remember why we initially went... But they had a holiday special/under $10 bin by the door, and I went to the XBox side and dug around a little... and there it was! $10 for a game I've always wanted, and I was supposed to turn it down? Bah I say! So, we took it back to Tony's place, fired up my XBox, and started playing...
I usually get bored about an hour or two into playing a game, and will gladly give him the controller, since he's genuinely better at video games than I am, but this time... Four or five hours in, I was still going, and he had spent a lot of that time begging me to let him play. We went back to Gamestop the next day, and he ended up picking up a copy for his PS3, and he got Dead Space 3, which he told me not to bring over when I was packing up things to bring to his place because Dead Space "wasn't his thing".

Anywho.. That's about it. Here's the tl;dr version:
1. I got a WiiU and I suck at Mario.
2. My mom is majorly sick and in the hospital. She's gone through one surgery now and might need another one.
3. I have a cold, and so does my dad.
4. I spent three days with my best friend, and he's amazing because he's willing to run me and my dad back and forth to the hospital without... Any real kind of reward.
5. My girlfriend and my best friend met (on skype, which he can't use 'cause he hasn't internet for years) and they get along and that means a lot to me.
6. Fuck Assassin's Creed, and Tony likes Dead Space even though he said he didn't.

I'm getting back into drawing again, obviously. There for a while, SAI wasn't working with me, and I got out of the swing of things as far as digital art goes, so that's why I've been avoiding commissions. But... I think I've got it again, and will get started on those soon!

Speaking of commissions, I still have a few slots open, and would love to get some more so I have some money for Christmas when it rolls around!

Hey, guys. This week has been... Bad.. Very bad. I was feeling really good, and then.. Yesterday... Yesterday morning, I had a seizure, which isn't even that special, but still bad. My dad went to get breakfast, and on his way home, he hit someone.
A little while later, he left again, and took out a sign this time.
He was angry, frustrated, clumsy, and forgetful. (He lost his billfold five times in a thirty minute period.)
Because none of this was normal, we took him to the emergency room, and it turns out... He had two small strokes.

Drawing is.. Hard, as of now... So please be patient with me...

I'm still not back, but I figured I'd go into more detail as to why.

I have managed to make myself sick. I don't know what I did, but everything hurts and breathing sucks. Even thinking about breathing hurts. My back hurts, my chest hurts, my neck hurts, my head, my jaw... Everything hurts, and it makes i difficult to focus on being online.

Even ask Faith. For the most part, if I'm not talking to you, I'm still talking to her, but I've even had to take a couple of breaks from texting with her, and that... That shows just how bad I've been feeling. I've been grumpy and touchy and moody and spacey, and haven't really wanted to be online, which leads to another excuse issue.

My computer's still fucked. The one I have that actually works makes a grinding noise, which hurts my already aching head and is hard to deal with. It lags, and grinds, and tries to crash programs a lot, so I get frustrated with it extremely easily even when I feel good. It can't really handle SAI very well, and for some reason, my big newer tablet (my intuos) won't connect with this one... I don't know why.

I'm still not able to post any art, unfortunately. I've only been accomplishing shit doodles anyways, so there's not a whole lot you're missing. I have been writing just a little bit more than usual, which is neat. I've gotten praise from English teachers on my writing and stories and essays and stuff, so I've been more... Motivated towards writing than towards art. I do have an entire FA account dedicated to my writing, and if you can find it, you get a cookie! (It only has two things on it, and no icon... No profile. No nothin', but it's there.)

Anyways... This is like, the longest journal I've ever posted, excluding memes, and I think I'll end it here. Hopefully, I will be able to get back onto Skype soon long enough to talk to anyone, and I'll find a way to get back into drawing. Sorry for the extended... hiatus, I suppose. I'll be back as soon as I can~

I haven't had anything even resembling a birthday party in years. This is the closest I've gotten. I talked to so many people today, and I know it wasn't a real "party", but it was much better than most birthdays I've had. I got all kinds of attention, and birthday wishes, and love... It made me feel really great, on a day that's never meant much to me.
