So a friend of mine called Tetsujinshi has this charbot they built themselves called DarioSwiss which has been tormenting people around AskReddit and TwitchTV.

Their latest scheme is to use the software to data-mine stories on FurAffinity and create its own proceedurally generated stories based on the input.

So far these kinds of AI written stories have been hilariously bad at best but Dario is a chat bot not the kind of software used for these things and it also has a nasty habiit or reiterating what it read.

it also talks in a non-sensical and (considering its already abundant experience with the kind of people who chat online) often adult manner using innuendos a plenty.

not sure if anyone would be interested in that but i said i'd add a link in my profile when they get it up and running.

so far it seems to have a nasty habit of using people's oc's off the cuff and tends to say some rather offensive things mostly directed towards furries, fur affinity and the fur affinity staff.

with a few tweaks it might be salvageable but it's beginning to make me question the kinds of things that are said on this website.

For the longest time my work has been shared around private social networks and I think it's about time I moved on from that. Before I make plans for my own website, I was thinking of being more active around art/gallery websites.

I've been all around social networks but it seems that most use video which is a bit of a problem for me on account of my schedule as I'm often on the line at night when others are trying to sleep here and the different between the volume of the videos often means i keep playing videos too loud and waking people up.

Even Reddit has this problem it seems. Many a time videos autoplay and it's not always obvious if a post has an image or a video from the thumbnail.

I'd like to stay away from journals if i can because i like the ability to easily look back at previous posts and places like Tumblr for example make that very difficult to do.

I've had a similar problem with places like YouTube and TikTok as comments are easily buried on popular videos and vids with the highest view count bubble up to the top in those sites' search and suggestion algorithms.

I find places like FurAffinity and DeviantArt by comparison are much better for being more personal.

But I'm not just going to be a faceless viewer of content, oh no. I do intend to start posting the things I make and maybe works from my fans as well with their permission.

Bare in mind, I want it to be mostly my own content and mostly just by number the fans produce way more content than my crew does.

Ideas are bubbling about a Sammu themed game but nothing is concrete yet. As for now I'll start diligently working on the Albion game.

There's a lot of work to do just to catch up with where I was before my PC totaled itself. That and the fact that, now I'm using different software, most of the mechanics of the game have to be redesigned.

The lack of customization now is grinding everyone's gears, even my own. I'm looking for a solution but it's not going to be easy and it's mostly a pipe dream at this point based on blind hope and possible misunderstanding of how the software works, partially propagated by the developers themselves.

As for data size and quantity however there looks to be a solution but it's using tech that's so out of my field of knowledge i feel like a baby learning their first words when they explain it to me.

The technical aspects are really what's holding Albion back at the moment as what i'm doing is something new and never really tested or planned out so it relies on a whole bunch of experimental stuff that everyone thinks should work in theory but in practice it's not as simple as everyone imagines.

Certainly a much more basic game would be ideal for a tester and Sammu is just the right medium for that but there has to be more than just a simple dating game to it. I owe it to myself and my own skills to find some mechanic, engine, gimmick or design element that really stands out and both tries something different and something daring tech wise.

It's not that I'm trying to impress, it's simply that I feel that my mind is being wasted here like I could do so much better and i can't stand the monotony of the follower mechanic of society where you just look at entertainment your who life. I'm a creative individual and my mind needs to bes tested constantly.

As for art as in literal artwork, that's a slippery slope. Last time I tried it, I got myself into a depressive downward spiral. It wasn't aided by any haters at all but I'm my own worst enemy and I just felt like I wasn't good enough when I compared myself to others.

I dare say I got pretty far in terms of artwork, I was no amateur by any means but it's all perspective I guess.

Nowadays you can't even find my old works on the line anymore. It's like that part of my life never happened. It was back in 2007 though I guess. Being more than a decade ago I guess it makes sense if people think I'm some sort of noob now. My old accounts no longer exist or even look like they ever did.

Albion is progressing at a snails pace and mostly it's just technical jargon stuff that people don't want to listen too. Until I know for sure what's available software wise I can't exactly make the things people want like spritework or dialogue and cutscenes.

I don't even know how many races I'll be allowed to have, how many outfits, how many weapons and fighting styles or the size of the world. And I can't just start making things for the game without knowing stuff like that.

For now everyone, even myself, is yearning for a quick, smaller game and Sammu would be great for that if I could just get the right idea to focus on.

Other than Albion and Sammu, other projects would heavily rely on how the mechanics work given the software. I mean I have literally a whole filing cabinet full of ideas but until i know if they're possible I'm just sitting on my laurels and bored as all hell.

So for a while now some guys. Different people each time it seems keep hacking into my account during Autis' stream to pester. Now they're doing the same on Mary's account too.

Eigo tells me that most were from the same place and kinda gave up after a while but the group this time are a new bunch and they'll probably just fuck off by themselves.

2 different rival gangs The Olive Club and The Mikan Club came to start an argument over OrangeOlive (confusingly a Mikan Club member), who apparently recently lost a verbal debate with BlackOlive of the Olive Club.

The Mikan Club is older and used to be very popular back in the day but since their popularity has dwindled and The Olive Club who deals in the same very specific genre of content has recently risen to popularity causing a rift in the community.

OrangeOlive formerly known as Wendigo caused some controversy by changing their name to 'olive' with a color in front of it which is the hallmark of Olive Clan's high ranking members. There's some debate about whether Wendigo knew about the rising Olive Clan fandom at this point.

It's either an unfortunate coincidence or a deliberate attempt at something that they later backed out of after the backlash. Both of which could be fueled by the rising popularity of the cartoon character Olive in the Sammu fandom which happened independent of this prior to the events.

The Olive character is the reason why The Olive Club changed tack recently and started being interested in content more along the lines of The Mikan Club since the character Olive is themed on that genre.

OrangeOlive recently turning up in Autis' stream presumedly following me because of the Sammu fandom unfortunately brought the controversy her way and both Mikan and Olive Club members were present in the stream at the same time.

When the chat started glitching out we called the hackers out when they discovered that their rival gang was also present in the chat.

Luckily when I said I was leaving both groups decided to leave as well especially as Autis (the streamer) was threatening action against both parties, which could have come back to bite me personally.

jesus christ no, it's not my game, are you mad? i know i often talk about my own projects but this one looks really good. seems to be a very visual novel based rpg with simplistic customization elements and some interesting mechanics.

coins appears to be in game currency and i assume stars is premium currency.

the moral and hygiene meters grab me. looks like the game has some element of a survival mechanic. i assume your health goes down when you have minimum hygiene but what happens when your moral depletes. it's not treated like a balance but rather a stack that needs replenishment. does your character just up and decide not to listen to you and starts doing whatever they want? i've seen that done before and it's pretty cool.

i like the addition of an inbox and a chat feature. that gives a fairly basic game a whole new layer.

good seeing your experience bar and level on screen at all times so you can judge whether you're ready for certain enemies and how to strat your experience so you don't waste too much time, same with energy. However i would still prefer it to have a numerical value rather than a simple bar. i dunno, maybe a bit of both would be better.

I'll be following it but I know a lot of people try to do this kind of thing and fail somehow. It's not worth my backing at least not just yet. I'd like to see more content rather than a bunch of text-based promises.

I myself am currently following a person who talks big but doesn't deliver. A lot of idiots hang on their every word but I sit in silence checking in every week for 5 mins to see if there's any progress and their usually isn't.

my own projects have sort of ended up the same way recently though it's not my fault. my pc kicked the bucket and quite frankly there's a lot to do to get back on track. with my birthday and sam's birthday and then pag tag coming up it's a big ask.

Originally appearing in my game RPM 1.0 back in 1996 this weapon quickly became a favorite among talented players.

It works by using magnetic coils to fire a glass shell that's filled with a chemical cocktail of powdered group 1 and group 2 elements. When the shell strikes something it smashes spraying the chemical dust mixture in all directions. This powder will burn in contact with oxygen making it similar to a thermal shell cannon round. However it's how the powder reacts with water that's the key. In the rain the explosion is more powerful and if fired into or next to bodies of water the explosion can be immense.

A skilled player can take advantage of certain features of levels like for example The Suburbs has a lot of swimming pools and wooden houses and similarly The Harbor has water everywhere and boats with fuel tanks.

In the original game the intense heat of the flames was enough to melt through several inch thick metal. That's why this weapon was designed to be used on battleships.

Its major hindrence is the lack of ammo for it. Like all weapons with speciality ammo it comes with the ammo in its magazine at the start of the match and any spare magazines you eqipped to start the match with. That's it. There's no ammo in the levels.

Later versions of Albion games have certain Smith and Metal element abilities that enable you to make the rounds on the fly but they are very costly so you have to find somewhere to hide during the firefight to make new ammo.

To say the combination of this weapon and large bodies of water is dangerous is an understatement. When the mix is right you can destroy huge chunks of the level toppling skyscrapers, blasting craters so deep you can get into the underground subway and of course laying waste to huge vehicular transport such as mammoth tanks and whole battleships.

Because of the limited ammo and the specific conditions needed to make this weapon particularly useful it's not for everyone but a skilled player can level enemy bases, take out the entire enemy team in 1 shot and destroy the enemy's arsonal and defenses effortlessly.

Frank Beryl Senior was an experimental chemical scientist who worked for the British government during World War II. He successful found a method of mass-producing large quantities of group 1 elemental materials using radiation. Using this knowledge the British government began producing experimental shells for use in battleships. However the firing process shattered the shells resulting in the cannons being destroyed.

Later Frank was attacked by a group of angry naval officers disguised as Nazi soldiers and was hospitalized. His son, Frank Beryl Junior, took over the research project in hopes of developing a low-powered firing mechanism to launch the shells with.

Unfortunately he never succeeded as he was bested by Russian scientists during the Cold War. However the Russian weapon simply fired large heavy rounds instead of the much more advanced group 1 rounds that Frank had developed.

Seizing the opportunity Frank used stolen design documents to create the li-be group cannon. The Cold War ended and the cannon never saw service but many years later some old prototypes of the weapon were stolen from a military warehouse on Io.

The thieves were part of a rebel movement on the planet and despite being stopped by the authorities they managed to prove the li-be group cannon to be a rather capable weapon which lead to a more modern adaptation being put into service later on.

Though neither Frank Beryl lived to see the day of its use by the military they can be proud that the li-be group cannon is seen today as a weapon of high class and a highly sought-after collectable by firearm enthusiasts.
