I'M BACK!

It has been QUITE a while since I last had any presence here at Furaffinity. I’ve spent a lot of time focusing on a more social media focused approach to how I handled my exposure on the net. Based on just how things were going at the time, it felt like hanging around FA would’ve been lackluster in helping me grow.

BOY, DID ELON CHANGE HOW THAT WENT!

After miserably disliking the flow of Twitter (I will forever deadname that app) I eventually started to focus on BlueSky. The more I talked to folks there and attended a few furry conventions around the midwest, I noticed that a LOT of you still hangout on FA. I did hesitate for some reason coming back, but honestly with the display name update, It was interestingly encouraging.

Now that many folks are familiar with the handle, JayYeen, I think it’s a good time to re-approach and feed you YEARS of art I've been hogging over on social media…slowly

SO i dont ever use journal posts on FA much anymore, but i feel like this may be an appropriate place to put this kind of news.

So by a wondrous surprise,
I realized that I actually have more watchers on FA than I do for people I watch.
Currently the list is at 191 which means if I went to a con, 2 of you would recognize me HAHA(*crushing sobs....*)

ANYWAY~
I wanted to see if you guys could help me hit a 200 mark.

There is a contest over at the page of  littleshewolf where you guys can check out her gallery and choose any two characters to create your own work of art and earn big. The journal itself is kind of a big read explaining all the ins and outs of what's the deal, but if you look, you'll see the prizes are free commissions from really really cool artists around FA. That includes me [egotistical laughter]

But seriously, whether you want a piece done by me or some other awesome artist [preferably me] and just dont have the dough, or you just love the idea of competition to get your blood flowing, check it out~ I'd actually like to see what people can create this round for the contest 'cause last time showed quite a bit of variety going on. Just curious if many people would be interested in participating in a YCH done by me. It seems to have been occurring vary often in my awareness that people are doing this pretty often.
