So yeah. I want to say sorry for everyone! Sorry for those I've been promising to do commissions for, and sorry for all my followers etc. etc. Ever since I got re-hired to my old employer, work has been taking most of my focus. Almost every week my job shows its tedious side by running me ragged. Only on weekends I have time to take a breath and most of those weekends I am spending on winding down, gaming and all, so my art swing has hit an all time low.

But I will do my best to get my motivation back and draw some more art and I have some pieces under work. I'm sure all you hard workers understand my point of view yeah?
So, once again sorry all!

Just a bit less than a week before Christmas, I find myself bedridden by influenza. Right now I am feeling a bit better, but for three evenings I've had some rather high fever, but today I'm more hopeful for fast recovery. But goddamn! Has this ever happened to you folks? Even though Christmas is mostly time for kids, while for us adults it's been ruined by commercialism, it still fucks up your mood big time when a virus brings you down for the count, when you should be getting together with the family.

I'm pretty sure this'll interest nobody. But tomorrow with Assassin's Creed Syndicate coming out here in Europe, I'm going to start a YouTube channel with my gamings. This would also be my first attempt to do a let's play -series, with Syndicate being the first. There's no activity on my channel yet. But here's the link just in case.

Man it seems quite surreal to be honest, now that I think about it. But I guess it takes it's time before it really kicks in. Certainly I'm getting older, but not sure if much any wiser xD

Man, yesterday and today have been pretty much the suck. Yesterday I had one of my wisdom teeth removed. Even though they numbed me, it still felt quite uncomfortable when I could feel them turning and twisting the tooth till it finally came off. What's more sucky is that the hole has been bleeding since then. It still does, but not as much as it did after the procedure. I want to eat and drink something good, but goddamn, I can't and don't even dare to touch solid food till the bleeding has stopped completely.

What kinds of experiences do you guys have when talking about wisdom tooth removal?

Someone remind me NEVER to drink cider, whiskey and wine at the same night. Because all day today I've been paying the penalty. To quote the words the great madventurer Riku Rantala, I've been feeling the great hammer of headache coming down hard, cold sweat pouring down my forehead and my mouth feeling like a taxicab's floor. My body's trembling like a leaf, trying to push last night's drinks back up and out of my mouth while at the same time hungering and craving for the white powders of Babylon. I've gotten me a new computer, an Asus CM6830 desktop PC. People recommended me to use desktops instead of laptops, so I took their advice. Still got some things to sort out with Windows 8 as it has a weird looking interface. BUT I also should be quickly back to drawing etc.
Had a pretty nice glitch at the start though. I used this HDMI cable to connect my PC to TV, as I wanna use my TV as the screen to save some money. However, though I got the image, I didn't get out any sound. I began to think about taking the computer back to the store etc. etc. But then I decided to try if the HDMI from my PS3 to TV would work. And damn was I surprised! It did! So now, the image and sounds work nicely, and so does my PS3 with the new HDMI cable so everything's all good now!

I'm gonna start setting up a price list to take commissions, folks. So have patience and bare with me, please.

Last night one of my computer's harddrives failed, so I won't be able to come online for a while. However thanks to PS3 I can check messages here, but it's only a little comfort. Now I gotta start thinking about the options if I can get the harddrive replaced or get a new computer altogether. Either way, it's gonna cost me big bucks and I don't like it, especially as I'm already having a bit of a tough time financially. But anyways, hopefully I can get it fixed soon enough.

Sunny greetings from the Grand Canary Island! The weather was perfect, and the place as a whole is DEFINATELY the place to go during December! Highly recommending it to all of you! Now I'm back home in Finland, getting settled down for Christmas. It was only a week's trip, but boy was it worth it... despite catching a little cold.

So I was waiting for the Metro to get home from downtown after seeing "Man Of Steel" with my big brother. This guy came over to me with his cellphone in his hand, asking for help. There was a hint of a language barrier, since he didn't speak Finnish nor English too good. I supposed he was Russian, due to his thick accent. He needed help in getting the text message correct, as he wanted to pay by cellphone to get some goodies from the snack vending machine. Well, I helped him the best I could, and as we both looked over the text message, wondering why the reply was negative, the guy began to push the buttons randomly and before we realized, two chocolate bars dropped down to the tray. Instant reaction was wtf?! AWESOME! The guy was all dumbstruck joy and smile, as he said that it wasn't even his money in the machine as the text messages were not accepted. But what the hell! The guy in his cheerfulness gave me one of the chocolate bars, we shook hands and he left. Kinda makes you think how sometimes you get simple yet unexpected positive things ^^

I've known for a long time that I'm a perfectionist when it comes to drawing. But goddamn, it sometimes is a SERIOUS pain in the ass! I'm not sure if it's about my incomplete skills or if there's a flaw in my eyes of seeing the image in perfect measurements. FUCK! Every goddamn time I draw a picture, a model sheet for example, which always has a full body shot of the character, I ALWAYS seem to find flaws in the picture after having scanned it! Legs too short, arms too long or a little bit too big head when compared to the entire body. It aggravates and frustrates the living shit out of me sometimes, especially when I'm drunk... like I am now.

So tell me, everyone of you, is this some sort of common thing artists are encountering all the time? And how the HELL can I convince myself that a picture is good enough to be shown to the public?

NOTICE! Some rant blasting up ahead!

Sometimes you feel like you can no longer travel on public transportation in peace. Almost every goddamn time, either aboard a bus or the Metro, right near you, there's some stupid kid complaining selfishly or screaming so loudly it pierces your ears, and the kid's dumbass airheaded parents sit there and do nothing to shut that brat up! Or if they do, they just go "shhh shhh", and that's it! Can't they silence their kids BEFORE boarding?! HEL-LOOOO!! I know for sure there's more people in that same vehicle, than just me, who has about had enough of having to put up with that that shit. I know some of you think this comment is uncalled for. But when I've had a long day with barely enough sleep, I get grumpy, and I'm not gonna apologize for that.

It appears that I might have to get a whole new computer altogether. I took my laptop to the maintenance, where they formatted it, and installed it with Windows 7. Well, it's been working and not working at the same time. Now instead of freezing while trying to start Windows, it freezes right after starting Windows or after a little while of using it. So, formatting and new operating system didn't help, so does that mean that the problem is in the motherboard?

I need answers, folks!

Hey everyone. I'm typing this from my PS3 and it's a slow job. Apparently, my Windows is busted, so it might be a while, before I can get back online. I gotta wait till fucking Monday, before I can even take my laptop to maintenance and even then it's uncertain if it's possible to salvage the piece of fucking shit! New computer would be nice but I have enough stressful shit going as it is. I tell you, this was the LAST thing I needed. I just want to get things done STAT! But for now all I can do is wait...

Hello all!

Recently my friends around me, online and IRL, have been asking me, if I'll ever start asking for payments for commissions. I've been thinking that perhaps I should give it a try. BUT, I feel that my art is not good enough yet to be worth a single dime. So for all of you who are following me, Lionmane, Showkaizer, and the rest of y'all. I'd want your advice on this thing since I'm relatively new to this sort of business.

Give me your advice, suggestions and recommendations, and criticism about the art quality matching its worth in money.

Man... yesterday I only had a VERY sore throat. I couldn't talk without my vocal chords starting to sting, causing me to cough or gag. And today I was feeling rather ok. I don't think many people bother to read my journal entries, but I want to let you all know anyway.

I'm experiencing internet troubles, so it's possible that I might be absent from activity for some time. I've already checked my settings and such, and called my net provider company. We've come to that conclusion, that there is an internal DNS malfunction either in their end, or in my computer. Either way, they are ready to send over a tech support person, who will check my computer and the connection issues, which of course is going to cost me. But I don't care.

I hope this won't last long.

I've been watching art around here from different people, including my favourite artists. But I cannot help, but feel sometimes extreme frustration and jealousy, because I cannot exactly afford to pay for any commission what-so-ever. Unless it was a free one, it'd be a whole different thing, but I presume that everyone asks for some sort of payment. The reason why I can't exactly pay up is this bullshit way the society has fucked us young people. Look at me for example. I'm a student, who gets almost no income, except the shitty study backup, which is barely enough to cover my rent. All other bills and expenses I have to take care of on my own. And thanks to the job markets around the world going down the shitter, it's hard for everyone to find a well paying job. So I've been sitting here, moping, full of anger and hate. I feel like raging around, breaking stuff, yelling.
