Country road, take me home...
Posted 9 years agoWell, my trip with Mom down to Tennessee was a blast. We had a lot of fun down in Nashville and Pigeon Forge, and made it back here Thursday. I've got a weird rash from some of the t-shirts we picked up, but aside from that, everything is hunky dory. :D Mom's heading back to Texas now, and I go back to work tomorrow night. All in all, a great vacation, took more pictures than I can count, and got some much needed R&R.
Oh well, back to work on art and stuff! Looking forward to seeing Ghostbusters this next week (if you don't like it or don't plan to see it, that's fine, but I'm gonna enjoy myself), and ArmorKuwagata is trying to get me to play Overwatch, so we'll see how that goes. :P

Posted 9 years agoJust giving everyone a heads up, tomorrow I'm gonna be gone for a week, heading down to Tennessee, do some sight seeing, and spend time with my mom. :) I'll be back next weekend, so arting will resume then. Take care, and to my fellow Americans, have a happy and safe 4th of July!

Ladies and gentlemen, ArmorKuwagata and I are proud to announce a brand new partnership with Toei Animation in order to bring to you the fruits of our labor:
Omutsu Senshi THE MOVIE!
Produced by the same company that gave you Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and many more classic anime, this tells the story of Mint Flavored and friends as they battle the forces of evil, while juggling junior high school life, keeping their secret identities, and their biggest challenge of all: potty training!
Principle casting is still being decided, but there's going to be a lot of press for this, merchandising, action figures, clothing lines, the whole works! :D We're super excited about all of this, and the fact two guys like us managed to get our little world to the big screen is nothing short of fantastic!

Posted 9 years agoI've been hit up to redraw a bunch of my old Sailor Moon pics, as well as a few new ones, and lots of other artists seem to be high on the series again at the moment. Taking a page out of Tamae's ( http://TamaeFTT.deviantart.com ) book, if last year was 'The Year of Sakura', then I declare 2016 'The Year of the Moon!'
In that vein, I highly support people drawing, writing, and generally enjoying all things Sailor Moon this year! ^_^ We've got a 3rd season of Crystal to look forward to, so that's something as well! :D
