After many months of therapy, mental health tests, and doctors appointments, I have finally been put on hormone replacement therapy! I am on my journey to becoming the real me! <3

Well, I am officially coming out to the furry community that I am a  transfurs. Since I will be going in for counselling I thought now was the right time. This is something I have been struggling with for quite a while now, but I've only just recently fully come to terms with. Past experiences with family and exes forced me to feel like I needed to hide, suppress, deny and make excuses about this part of myself, but I can no longer do that. So now here I am about to take first steps toward being the real me.

For those of you who may or may not have heard. There was a shooting early this morning at NAU, the school I am currently attending. I was thankfully down in Phoenix when it happened, but its still really scary to know it happened at my school. Please keep those that were hurt, and the family of the student that was killed in your thoughts (and prayers if that is your thing as well.) :(

Its that time of year again! Its hockey season! And my San Jose Sharks took on the LA Kings at Staples Center in LA. It was a bit of a rocky first minuet when Nick Shore scored on a deflection just 1:49 into the game, but after that it was all Sharks in a game they absolutely dominated! With goals from Thornton, Pavelski, Burns, Hertl, and the rookie Donskoi, it was a game that I hope the Sharks can repeat on Saturday in the home opener against the ducks, as well as the rest of the season. Its gonna be a good one! LETS GO SHAAAAAAAAARKS!

To me part of being a furry is the acceptance by the community of who you are no matter who you are or where you're from (sometimes there are some failings in that regard, but I try to give the benefit of the doubt). We are all part of one community, and we welcome our furry brothers and sisters with open arms. I absolutely love that about our wonderful and eclectic community! Furries are a global community, we can have furries from the US, UK, Germany, Russia, France, and any other country in this world of ours all sitting in the same room enjoying themselves and each other's company because of what we have in common. The rest world could honestly learn from furries about getting along, because despite all of our differences, we are basically all the same. I heard this song a little less than a year ago, and when I hear it I think of our wonderful community, Because the enemy of everything that is evil is people loving people.

Doctor you ain't got a pill, for whatever's making this world ill. You can't get forgiveness at the store, and peace it's a politician's war. You won't find no resolution in the bottom of a bottle, in the stars, or Aristotle. The only answer to the problem is;

After looking at the start times of the Spring 2016 semester, I have discovered that they do not start until January 19th (Because MLK Day is the 18th). This means that I am 100% certain that I will be able to attend Further Confusion 2016!! This is super exciting! Both my first out of state con AND my first con with my fursuit! Super stoked! :D
