What is the name of your main Sona? - JC Laurent

Where did the name of your Sona come from?
You know, i'm not exactly sure. It's a fake name i've used for a while, i think Laurent came first (as i happen to think it's a nice name) and i added the JC from my username later. Need For Speed: ProStreet also has an opponent named JP Laurent, not sure if he was an influence but i'm fond of the game so it just might've been.

What species is your sona and why did you choose that species?
A shiny Shinx. I had always felt an odd draw to shinxes even before creating a sona for myself, and as i wanted to draw something wearing my usual clothes, i liked the result of using a shiny shinx so much that i went with it.

What color is your sona and why?
I love yellow and orange together with black and the shiny scheme of Shinx just happens to match perfectly with that

What is your sona’s personality and how does this compare to your RL personality
JC doesn't have too much of a fleshed out personality, it's more or less the same of my own. He walks a grey line between being a separate character and my own avatar

What is one item your Fursona owns that significant you in RL?
All the clothes he wears, i suppose. They're based on pretty much the exact same clothes i always wear IRL

What is one thing you think you would say to your sona if you could meet?
If only that was possible. I can't think of anything though

How has your sona changed over the years?
Not really. The boots have changed a little with my style and my actual boots of choice, and the hair has gotten a bit more pronounced but it's mostly the same. Notably the shades changed a lot since i spotted these really cool Oakleys that i decided to adopt for him and i would love to get a pair of them for myself.

How long have you had this Fursona?
3 years in a few months

Would you like to be more like your Fursona?
I more or less am him as i said, but of course i'd love to be a huge-cocked shinx any day of the week.

After making a couple nice friends in  rolfman 's (go watch him, he draws cool stuff and has even cooler friends =3) stream yesterday, it seems that i have hit 100 watchers, and 1 extra!

The way i draw stuff is mostly for other people's enjoyment, not my own. And to cater to your tastes more, i want to ask this:

Do you think there's the hypothethical viewer to a picture? Do you like pictures where the character looks at you, probably lewdly, probably with his cock hard and throbbing, meaning that he wants to have naughty times with you?

Or do you rather prefer pictures where the character(s) is by himself, doing his thing, and not hinting that there's a camera of sorts? Or maybe there is, but the character doesn't know it?

To simplify, do you like this sort of pictures or this? And i don't mean the fetishes like cross dressing or SDBS but the... "arrangement" of the angles and characters.

The reason i'm asking is that i think i'd be better in the former type, characters looking at the camera, and i think that for... sexual satisfaction, those work better for me as well. Of course there's the tradeoff of these being more often than not, solo pictures.

But as said, i want other people to enjoy my art as well, and this is also a topic that interests me. So let me hear what do you think about this~

There's numerous things that i have throughout the times wished to become good at, among which are fighting games, airsoft, and many others. Including drawing.

And drawing is something i intend to make true. It is a rocky road, it is a long road, but i intend to drive through it. It will take time, it will take effort. I have several tens of years time, so i'm not gonna run out of it. If i don't have enough effort, then i must muster some more, because without that, nothing will get done.

I write this journal only so that whenever i think of quitting the scene (lets hope that i dont.), i can say to myself "Remember what you promised back at 2013 summer equinox?" And i plan to keep and fulfill this promise, and if i were ever to break it, something big must have happened, big enough to change the course of my life so that i couldn't continue drawing no matter what.

It might take months, it might take years. But goddamnit, if there's something i could promise, it's that one day JC Laurent will be a decent artist. No matter if he draws supersized dicks on small Pokémon with combat boots, at least he does it decently.

Last of all, i want to thank all of you guys who have supported me so far. I might only have 15 watchers, but thats 15 more than i could ever have thought of getting before. Words and pictures can only say so much, but i really mean it.

And don't take this like i would lose the meaning of my life if i was to break the promise. It's about time for me to get a proper hobby, and a hobby is that much more fun if you are good at it. It's only a month since i started doing this, and while i may be biting more than i can chew, i plan to swallow it all, its just a matter of time.
