Until the devs can get that full site rewrite done, it's pretty much f*cked.
Don't use your old password when you reset it, but don't make a new one you like either.

They still have the source code, and the patches they did this weekend can only do so much until they overhaul the whole backend.

I'm fairly certain this will be the next big push that gets most of the userbase to move to a new site, myself included.

I've been taking a summer class for eight weeks now, and I just did the final for it this morning.

So my internet has been out since Thursday. We tried replacing the modem on Friday, worked for a couple hours, until I got home -_____- So We bravely fought through Comcast's script monkeys and transfer-please-hold bullshit to get to support LEVEL TWO! All in all it took about two hours plus what little diagnostics I could do by myself to figure out it's probably a signal problem. In our wired connection.
So now we have to wait until Sunday at 7:00am (even though we scheduled it for 10:00 so we didn't have to wake up on Sunday goddammit) for a technician to come out here and run a couple continuity tests on our house wiring and probably tell us it'll take another 3 days before they can get us a LEVEL TWO technician who might have an idea how to fix our damn problem.
I am not super optimistic about having internet again by Monday. In the meantime we've used up our "complementary" tethering privileges and my phone is dying so I'll just wrap up by saying this:

Edit: turns out someone actually sheared through the line to our house by... idk standing on the lid to the cable box for our block?? The technician came out (at 10:00), replaced the sheared line, and now the net works again. I will give it to them that the guy knew what he was doing and wasted zero of our time fixing what needed fixing. The phone calls we had to make to get to that point however, were still a less than pleasant experience.

So I went with to that one con in Denver over the weekend where we did a bunch of stuff and met a bunch of cool people, many of whose names I don't remember D:

She was in her Cloudy fursuit both days and everybody thought it was just as adorable as last year, especially when we brought the plush nuke with us on Sunday. ^.=.^ I got pictures and videos of her in suit wandering as well as in the parade. We briefly discussed getting a suit made for me, but don't hold your breath. I want one, but college is kind of a thing :P

I went to a couple panels, and we visited in the dealer's den a few times. There was the art jam, where a bunch of people drew in each others' sketchbooks. Uploads to come. I brought a guitar to the Musical Jam Session which I wish could've lasted longer. That was a lot of fun.

Sunday afternoon I got to finally meet and hang out with (I'd already met this weirdo last year) and before he had to leave. The night ended with all of us retards singing Bohemian Rhapsody at the karaoke. Including Pnut who had to eat the mic because she was in suit the whole time (I was impressed. She had chow mein out of a to go box without taking off her head.)

Just been busy. Gotz me a summer job with 3D printing gear, and also moving to a new place by the end of the month, and also just got back from a family trip to Chicago which was fun.

First time outside the continental US, and everything about Denmark is fascinating to me. Most Danes seem to speak decent English, but I still don't understand what people are talking about half the time :P
I'm in a tiny little flat with my dad in Copenhagen (not as small as the dorm was though). Internet access is limited, right now I've got 10 GB of 3G per month. But I'm online at least!
the plane trip was 3 hours to the east coast, then 8 hours over the Atlantic, which adds up to... a lot. At the beginning of the second flight, I got bored and killed a few hours drawing. I'll upload that today at some point. In the meantime, gotta stay awake...

Now I've had a day to recover and reset, I figure I should probably recap the awesome time I had at RMFC.

I went to all the art panels I could, and learned a lot just from hanging around artists between panels. Pics soon!
I met and hung out with (lets see if I can remember them all) and a guy named Chris whose FA name I knew I would forget...
and I helped out with tech support on the Light and Form panel, and as thanks we were given free prints by ! She's really awesome btw and you should totally go watch her.
I enjoyed the hell out of the Nerf dart wars (single shot pistol ftw!) even though my team kept losing |3
