Bye guys.
Posted 12 years agoI wanted to write a poem or story about what happened recently in my life but instead I'm just going to write. I'm going to write and see what happens, because i don't think i'm going to be doing it again for a long time.
I don't feel like telling everyone my problems. I don't even feel like crying anymore. I feel like appologizing. Over the last few days I've found more things out about myself than I cared to know and I don't feel fit to know anyone after a nights sleep. I've been told I should forgive myself and move on. I've also been called a curse. Maybe these mistakes I made were the first of their kind, and I'd never been in that situation before so who knew what was going to happen. But i'm not makeing excuses.
I'm disgusted with myself. You will not be seeing writing from me here any longer, anyone who has me watched you will want to remove me because you will not see anything new from me. I don't want to write anymore.
Thank you everyone for reading what I had to write over the years, and if you're also a part of my Deviant Art, EDH group, IRC group or StarWars ToR group please do the same as I've instructed here.
If ever i have control over my words again, when i can learn how to use them without makeing a monster of myself, i'll come back.
For anyone who wants to stay in contact my skype information is kehayiasbeast
Thanks again.

Hold on the new project
Posted 12 years agoIf you all remember my last journal I had a reffle going for a new short I was writing in a cyberpunk setting. Well, i can't get to that right now, but things are looking up on the flipside.
My new machine, whom I've dubbed Cooler (the damn case is called a cooler master), is a machine built to run anything faster than you can think. 2 Nvidia 660ti cards and a water cooling system. It's a dream.
Well I'm using this bad boy for another project I already started, working on audio equiptment now (and if anyone knows where to get a cheep clip mic i'd really appreciate the info) but I suppose I should probably familiarize myself with video editing on a basic level. Hehe, cool, i get to learn shit.
Anyway, no date at this time, but as soon as I have the big move planned and got my ass settled in somewhere, I'll more than likely begin internet reviews. I'm working with a friend of mine, Sean, to start a series of shows dedicated to both ripping apart and mending the games we all know and love as well as your favorite movies.
First up on the chopping block (as soon as Sean stops crying) is Mass Effect. Or at least thats the plan. Things have been flying all over the place the last two months, i've barely had time to settle in and take care of personal stuff.
So wish me luck guys. Thats a move, a new project and a new computer all in just a month or two. I promise i'll be back to continue my triumphant return once life stops trying to find my prostate.

You could be in my next short story!
Posted 12 years agoI'm currently in the very starting stages of something very different for me, and I'm finding myself a bit... repetitious. See I've got so many fictional characters in my head I'm trying to get rent, but the truth is I've used them already. A lot. So, here's the deal.
I'm writing a cyber fantasy story about a young man versus a highly guarded corporate server. This will include Matrix elements, a bit of Tron, but hopefully you all will be able to see my own flavor that most of you have come to enjoy.
Reply to this journal, post to your friends so they can reply to this journal, and in afew days I will randomly select any number of them to appear in my story as secondary characters to support the main arc. You will not be paid, but you'll be in a very interesting and hopefully heart string tugging event of cyber thievery and futuristic robin-hoodery.
Also this is a shameless ploy to get more people reading my shit. I'm bad at poker faces.
So, lets see some interest, and I will announce the winners when I feel enough have submitted themselves for approval.
See ya.

Posted 12 years agoHow much money would you pay, how much would you give up, to see a new America born out of the ashes of this one?
This is my home and I was born here, didn't have a choice, but the bad decisions that my government and those in a position of power over me are making are inconsiderate to common sense. Greed, as too many people would say and too few would listen to, is the answer.
If we took the incomes of american family's and indeviduals and placed it on a graph, from lowest to highest, to evenly be measured the top 5 percent would not show up on the graph, while the top 1 percent's total income would quite literally be 5-6 times larger than the 99th percentile beneath him, enough to quite literally restack the graph from 90% down. I'm the bottom 1 percent, living on pocket change and food subsidisation programs, and wondering just what the in the blue fuck is someone useing all that money for? I don't want that money, I don't want a handout, I don't even want anyone to admit any wrong doing here. All I want, ever wanted, was a job.
I lost everything because I couldn't find work in this country. My home, my family, my fiance, my mind. It's all gone, as well as the years I spent looking, and now the gap in my work history is keeping those few jobs from comeing to me. It is a piss poor state we're in and it's not getting better, trust me, I'm at the bottom looking up.
Cry Anarchy, ladies and gentlemen. We need it. We need a resolution, a revolution. If you feel like I do, if you've got that spark of revolt in you trying to catch you on fire, stand up and do something.
Please.
As much as I've lost and can't get back, knowing that I've done my part to let that happen, I don't want to see anyone else end up like me. 130 IQ and a solid set of morals and professional conduct unable to even work at Taco Bell.
This has to stop, and I'm out of ideas.

Posted 14 years agoI haven't been able to find a job for almost a year now. It is getting very, very, very tiresome, and I need to be able to pay my bills somehow. If you guys enjoyed my writing and would like something specific or featuring a character of yours, I'll be cheap

The big bad choice
Posted 14 years agoIt's about that time, ladies and gentlemen. Men and women like me, all through time, have had to make this... choice, decision, determination, guess, whatever you call it. Many don't, many just won't, but I believe I owe it to myself to pick one or the other before it gets too terribly late in my life. I like to think that Edgar Allan Poe made this decision at some point in life. I'd like to entertain the thought of Howard Philip Lovecraft doing the same, but he doesn't strike me as the type. This is the kind of decision the lone sociopaths and visionary's and down right reclusive folks have to make at some point, and when they do things never stay the same. They go from there, like a fork in the road, traveling down a path that leads away (far far away) from the other choice.
So here it is
Either I am loosing my mind, or the rest of the world is.
I can't find loyalty in common people anymore.
Money has become more important than family.
Mistakes cost you your life.
Material possessions are more important than wisdom and knowledge.
Locking away the problems is more important than treating them.
You must pay for the privilege of being sick and ill.
Every set of eyes upon you is equivalent to a judgement upon you.
Nonconformity is punishable by exile both socially and economically.
And here I am, witnessing the world around me as if I am the last man on earth, watching these things in human skin tear apart what could have been a wonderful place, unable to realize that this is their own fault and change will not come unless they speak out for it.
So either I am loosing my mind, or the rest of the world is.
Will update further on my decision.

My next short
Posted 14 years agoMy newest short story is still in the development stage but it is toward the FINAL development stage. Pretty much I looked at what I wrote, saw the ending, and threw up in my mouth a little bit. So now, I'm revamping the ending and making it something a bit more symbolic, and hopefully a bit more frightening than what I had originally, cause it sucked. It really did.
It is going to be called 3 faces, a story about a man lost in the woods of Virginia... that is all I'm willing to disclose at this point. Mostly because if I give too much away, what is left to read? As far as short stories go, I can safely say I'm putting more effort into this one piece of work than I have ever given any of my pieces.
So, hopefully within the week, I'll have something for you all to read. Thanks for the patience.

23 today.
For those who give-a-damn
Posted 14 years agoWell, I got a new one coming out. Its been a long, long time since I wrote a short story worthy of the title but finally, after a long rest period and one shot poetry, I think I've finally got something not only worth showing to you all, but worth trying to get published.
I'm straying away from my bad habit of writing then INSTANTLY posting it here. I'm gonna make sure this thing looks, reads, and hits where it's supposed to. When its done yall will be the first to see it.
By the by, Birthday on the 28th. I'll be 23

Looking for pictures
Posted 15 years agoAnyone got any good doberman pictures? Trying to find a reference pic for my newest addition to my character roster.
Dillan "Dee" Bascom, an up-and-coming rapper who makes most of his money (and spends it) on sound equipment and bribing record labels. None too built, but he plays basketball and skates. Any and all attempts welcome, be it a link or someone just drawing something, I don't care. Hard as hell to find the right picture for some reason.

My best
Posted 15 years agoTo anyone reading this journal, I would like to direct you to my poem, The Would-have-been King.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4917914/
I ask humbly that you read it and post an opinion.
There are few times in my life where I can step back from my own work and feel like I have accomplished something. Its easier to do with drawn art, which takes time and a lot of effort. With Poetry, I need to hit something. A string must be pulled, an emotion evoked. For the first time since I have tried to put my emotions on paper, truly, I have frightened myself. I love it.
I am very proud, and I would like to hear emotional responses from whoever will take the time. I expect an honest appraisal. I would greatly appreciate this.
This is officially, in my own opinion, my best work yet.

4. My first girlfriend was quite literally a psychopath, and my first boyfriend was a slut.
5. By conventional standards I'll probably never be 'in love' again.
6. I'm a member of Narcotics Anonymous.
7. I consider myself an excellent writer, chef, motivational speaker and debater (that does not include arguing childishly)
8. It is my dream to one day write for an perhaps sing for a mainstream metal band. that, and I know I'm good enough to do both. one better than the other.
9. As much as I complain and gripe about how much I don't like people, I will -never- pass up an opportunity to help someone that helps themselves.

Prove me wrong.
Seriously, The lack of inactivity around here for the writing community is driving me insane. Someone, anyone, give me challenges, prove me wrong, send me works others have done, smack me in the face, anything. Just get me up off my ass and make me wow you people!
I CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH ON MY OWN DAMAT! >:(

I HAVE RETURNED!
Posted 15 years agoHey guys, sorry for the unwarned sabbatical, But now I've got my own place, my own internet, and my own full time job. Woo.
Point is, All those who actually liked reading what I put out, you get to see more of it in the coming months. To those who PMed me, I really am sorry I didn't say anything, but I had to move kind of fast. Example :: Week 1 = Job + $8 a month apartment + job + buying furniture + surviving my mom.
But, luckily, all that seems to be over with, and I've got some semblance of structure in my life again. I can't wait to get my work out for you guys. Thanks again for watching!

Posted 16 years agoHey guys, everyone's favorite underappreciated author here again to speak about why I'm not writing all that much anymore.
Life sucks.
Now that that's out of the way I can get to how you... yeah, you, back there, hopeing i'm not taling about you, can help me get back to writing!
I've been doing alot of my more sci-fi fantasy works over a broad period of time, and it takes alot for inspiration to last that long. Unlike people I know who can just push out writing like a 2 ounce baby, I gotta sit here, get in some serious emotional state, then write. It takes alot out of you, believe me (as I'm sure most of you know), but luckily there's a simple solution.
Music.
Hell yeah. We all use it to get into that state of mind we need at that time when we're doing the stuff we do. It gives us that kick, that little gust of bravado and that smirk that lets us know 'yeah, i may be a looser, but this song is fucking awsome'.
That being said, I'm looking for music.
My favorite composers are famed and easily findable (and also put me in my favorite writing mood), and they are Akira Ymaoka (Silent Hill Fame) And Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy Fame). I have a big heart love for video game music but mostly Akira has found a way to hit my soul notes perfect. Listening to his tracks put me to a keyboard like viagra puts a guy to a hole in the wall.
If you guys have any music you want me to hear or that you think will help my writers block, leave me a URL where I can DL it or watch it streaming. You'll get a special thank you, and if I really like the song, A gift piece from me :3 consider it half of a contest.

A bit of direction here...
Posted 16 years agoOkay guys, what I keep hearing from you all is how talented I am and how good my work is... for some reason I'm not agreeing with you all, so I'm gonna try myself this experiment here.
I've seen a lot of writers on FA give out a weekly or daily or monthly prompt to help writers out, give them just a little something to do and keep their brains exercised and the like, but its a general message for a general audience. What I want is for -you-, the people who pay attention to what I do, to give me some ideas.
If you all want to see something in writing, leave me a PM with a sentance up to 10 words, and I'll write something off of it if I can. If I pick what you sent to me, then you'll be credited. This is gonna show me that I really can write despite circumstances, and to you all that yes, I can do what I'm told or directed toward even a little. Gonna make things for me a -lot- easier when it comes to commission talk.
Thanks for reading this journal, at least, and thanks again if you actually leave me a line!
