At least not entirely. To my understanding, the mods have come to a compromise. However, even then though I haven't actually been affected by all the drama, I considered leaving out of solidarity. I didn't want to. You all are so lovely! I'd miss you!
That said, it did occur to me that maybe I shouldn't put all my eggs in one basket. History has taught me that people actually like my work and want some record of it, no matter how old (and some of it is ooolld!). So! I made a Weasyl account. It will be the same as my FA. I'll post all new art on both pages, I'm just giving another option. FA has been kind to me for so long, I'd hate to leave (especially since I'm so close to 1000 watchers!), but, if they give me reason, I will drop them like a bad habit. I don't want to, but I will. It's easier to say that now that I have another place to go. Weasyl is my new home-away-from-home. Oh! here's the link, btw~

Thinkin of doing commissions again
Posted a year agoGonna test this out. I don't typically take commissions because, as an artist, I like to draw my own stuff. But, admittedly, I like drawing other people's ideas, too. Sometimes it's hard to come up with my own ideas... hence the reason I don't post stuff very often
Anyway, all that said, I'm gonna take things slow.
I'm only gonna take 4 commissions and they will be $50 each (it will contribute to my growing cost of diapers XP). They'll be colored and shaded. Single character only.
If you're interested, comment below to claim a spot and you can note me to discuss details. Again, I will only take the first 4 claims.
Also please keep in mind that I have a day job, so it may take a bit of time. I'll try my best to not take too long.

But the only way I can get them is if they hit their goal, which, at the time of posting is only 23 days away and they're only at about 50-ish% of the way.

Sometimes things are actually OK
Posted 2 years agoSo, without going into a whole lot of back story, I've been going through a lot feelings over the last few years. Covid was definitely a catalyst. Feelings related to myself (still trying to figure myself out and how I can fit in to my surroundings) but also dealing with a just.... general disdain for people.
I, honestly, thought I'd moved past it in my twenties, but, more and more, I find myself falling back into those same feelings and IT'S NOT A PHASE, MOM! *stamps my foot*
Anyway, to my original point, about a year ago, I started painting my nails because, like, why not? Also it helps a bit with gender identity and whatnot.
I have gotten... so many compliments about my nails! I love it! And, honestly. when I first started painting them, I braced myself for some one to get upset and/or call me some slurs, but, to my surprise, it hasn't ever happened! Once, a guy asked me why I painted my nails and I just said because I liked the way it looked.
As of the time I'm posting this, yesterday, I had one person apologize for, possibly, misgendering me; I never would've been offended, but I absolutely love that they even took that into account!
I also had 3 separate people compliment me on my fingernails in the same day! It makes me feel good because, while not every person will compliment me (I'm not fishing for compliments), I absolutely love that there are people in the world who... give a shit. It makes me feel better about the state of the world.

AB/DL themed stream
Posted 3 years agoI want to save up for a new(current) computer, but I've been thinking that once I do, would anyone be interested in an ab/dl themed gaming/art stream? Are there such things already that I'm not aware of?
That said, I am also looking for advice.
As far as my computer, I'm very dumb but I know what I want. I know I need at least 8gb of RAM and I want a middle range graphics card (my goal for the overall cost is, at most, $2000. Preferably more like $1500 or less). I need something decent so I can play games and run art software (which may have more to do with CPU and RAM, I'm not sure, but I would still like to have a half decent graphics card). So, if anyone can recommend anything, I would be grateful! I've googled cards and cpu's, but, as I've said, I'm dumb and have trouble with making sense of what goes with what.
I'm better at making network connections and making that work. Weirdly, I'm Network+ certified, but NOT A+ certified. Chaulk it up to military training, I guess. I only need to know what I need to know.
Anyway, as far as streaming, if anyone is interested, I don't have a lot of experience with streaming platforms. I sorta feel like Twitch wouldn't be very friendly to such a stream, so if anyone has any other ideas, I'd love to hear them. I know Picarto seems to be pretty tolarant, but it's also not as popular (which is not necessarily my goal, but I would like build a friendly place where people can come, so as such, I would like to have as much visability as posible). All that said, though, I will say now that, if I could even make this happen, there wouldn't be any face cam (mostly because I don't have one) and live times would be later at night because I do have a day job and likely only a couple times a week (I'm tenetively thinking, like, Tuesday and Friday or something like that). So, if made it this far, I would love any and all feedback!
Oh! I forgot to say, but the more usb ports, the better! And at least one of them powered. Again, I don't know if that has to do with the cpu or the case, or the power supply, or what, but any advice is applreciated!

I just came across this site that lets people donate if they want to. I've had people tell me in the past that I should make a Patreon page, but I, honestly, don't want the responsibility of having to draw several pictures every month. By then it becomes more of a job and isn't as fun for me anymore. Anyway, this is just a simple way for people to support me if they want to without having to maintain a subscription or anything and I don't have the pressure of churning out new content on a regular basis. The site just uses Paypal to transfer money, which I realize my be a little redundant, but this page has a little nicer look to it.
I'm mostly going to use Ko-fi for posting things that I don't post on DA or FA to give people a little incentive to check it out. But, having said that, I post most of the things I draw on one of those sites, if not both, so a lot of the pictures on Ko-fi are sketches and things, but not all of it. I had planned on putting more of the nsfw stuff I've drawn on there, but apparently they don't like that, so I can't do that. On that note, I will be interested to see if they end up deeming my abdl stuff as inappropriate at some point. So, if that happens, there's a chance I may not have my Ko-fi account for very long, but we'll see!

I live in the area and I plan on going on Saturday... because, in past experience, that's when the most stuff happens (the parade and junk).
Anyway, if you know who I am, or whatever, and you're interested in hangin out for the day, please let me know! I love meeting new people! Setting up a place to meet would be best (based on past experience).
I'll have otter ears and an otter tail; hopefully a 'Cory' badge, too.

Posted 10 years agoI know I've been absent for quite some time, but I've been in something of a transitional period for most of the last year.
That aside, I'm at a point now where I'd like to start taking commissions again. It's been a long time since I have, but it's also given me time to think about it a bit, too.
Previously, in an effort to keep things simple and streamlined, I only offered to do single character, full color drawings for $25, but I came to realize that it was actually deterring some people. So, I decided to change the way I'm doing things a bit. For now on, I'll be handling things like this:
Cleaned up sketch: $10
Inked linework: $15
Color: $25
Each additional character: $5
This seems like a more common format for a price list and I hope it'll make it easier for more people who may want to commission me to do so. I guess that's about it, then. If you'd like to commission a drawing from me, please send me a note. I'm open to drawing most things, so feel free to ask. I mostly draw AB/DL stuff, but not strictly.

Posted 11 years agoI know I haven't been posting much on here lately, and anyone who watches me on DA has seen a lot more new stuff. This is not to say, however, that I've abandoned FA or anything. Quite the contrary; I'd like to draw more stuff for the FA audience, but honestly, I don't know what to do!
This is where you all come in. First of all, I want to make it clear that I'M NOT DOING REQUESTS. Though, I do want to hear ideas. What kinds of things do you all like to see in ABDL art? Like, what kinds of themes, or situations, or character traits, or whatev?
Honestly, I'm afraid people, as a whole, are getting bored with ABDL art. I feel like everyone has done everything at least once before, and ideas are getting old. I hope I'm wrong, but, I can also say, as an artist, it's kinda hard to come up with new stuff. I think that, with a bit of direction from fans, we artists can explore new ideas and concepts.
I'm not sure if other artists agree, but, regardless, I'd be happy to pass on any info that might get them more commissions or whatever. So, if you have an idea that you haven't seen before that you'd like to see drawn, feel free to say something! I can't say it will get drawn, but anything anyone says will be taken under consideration (at least by me). Plus, it'll give me more ideas to get me more views and watchers and such -.^

Further Confusion?
Posted 12 years agoSo, I just found out about FC in San Jose and I think I'm going to go. I was curious if anyone else I know is going and if anyone wants to hang out. This will be my first fur convention, but since I only just found out about it, I won't be there all weekend.
So far I plan on going on either Friday or Saturday. Maybe both days if I can find anyone to hang out with. I don't have a hotel room, though, so I'll have to go back home in the evening (plus I have to take care of my dog).
So yeah, if anyone is going, please let me know. I'd love to be able to talk to people and stuff. Otherwise, I'll likely just hang out in the dealer's room all day.

Just came across this and I think it would be a good exercise for anyone learning to draw or trying to get better or just wants anatomy practice. The skeletons wouldn't even need to be that detailed, but I think it would be a good way to get an idea of proportion and bone structure. Especially since the drawing is done.
I think I may do this for some fun practice at some point.

Requests and the time it takes to do them
Posted 12 years agoFirst of all I'd like to make sure everyone knows I'm not closing them. That's not what this journal is about.
Rather, I'd like to apologize that I haven't been working on them. I'm getting ready to move cross country and have been insanely busy preparing for it. I should be there and settled in after about another week or so (probly a bit longer), so once that happens I will resume with the requests for the people that are currently listed on my main page and go from there.
So, to sum it up, I'm sorry it's taking so long, but I haven't forgotten or anything and I'll get back to it as soon as I can.

Posted 12 years agoHonestly, I get plenty of faves and watches pretty quickly whenever I post something new, but just the same, if anyone has ANYTHING to say, please do! About anything; to do with anything! I CRAVE it! Let me know what I could do better, let me do what I'm doing right, let me know what I'm doing completely ass-backwards!
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little jealous of other artists who get more comments, but I do have to wonder why they get more than I do. I mean, I know I don't do requests as often as some people do, but... I don't charge for them either. What can I do to get myself on the same level as some of the other better-known artists?

Posted 12 years agoI may be shooting myself in the foot, here, but it's been a long time and I've gotten a lot of requests to do requests, so I'll go ahead and open them up again. But, I'm only going to take one or two at a time on first-come-first-served basis. Send me a note if you want one, and I'll let you know if I can do it. I'll also do my best to update with the current requests I'm working.

Posted 14 years agoHey everyone, I just letting you all know that I'm going to have to stop taking new requests temporarily until I can catch up on the ones I have left to do. Rest assured, I will make another journal when I'm free again, which shouldn't be too long. Thanks ^^
Commissions
Posted 14 years agoHey everybody, a lot of you have been asking about commissions and requests and things lately. Thank you to those of you I've asked to give me some time to get back to you for being patient. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a pricing scheme and stuff, but I can't come to a solid decision. So, it's like this:
I'm not accepting commissions at this point. I am still taking requests, but I'm going to need to start limiting how many I take on at once. I've been letting myself get a little overwhelmed lately. So, that being said, if you'd like to buy a drawing from me, I won't turn you down, and if you message me, we can discuss a price, but it's not necessary.
