thinking of holding 2 art contests side by side in the run up to christmas would anyone be interested

a SFW contest and a NSFW contest

prizes would be

1st : 3 fully coloured pics
2nd: 1 fully coloure dpic and a lineart
3rd: 1 lineart

so if you enter the SFW contest the prizes will be SFW pis and NSFW if your in the NSFW contest

ALL contestants will get a small something at the end of the contest

if anyone is interested comment and i will PM details out or make a second journal one there is enough interest

i am determined to make this successful so im once again extending the previous entries and changign the rules ever so slightly , there wsnt enough votes to forma result and no one entered the contest so.. the chnges now applied

ok i feel this needs saying / addressing because its getting to me now

someone i know recently posted a similar journal and it got me thinking how true it was and how i related to what she was saying so im gonna speak up about this.

There are VERY little of you on my watchers list whos how support for my stuff i get barley any views on anything , im lucky to get a favourite or 2 on my pictures and most of my submissions have 0 comments and ones that have any is because ive replied to the one person that actually commented on them , now my art aint the best i know , but that doesnt mean i dont get stressed , tired and worked up when making it i put effort and time into what i do and i get 0 anything from anyone , how do you think this affects my confidence and self worth as an artist?

the only time anyone is ever interested in my stuff is if the word FREE is involved then i'll make your art post it and never hear from you again...that makes me feel like shit to be frank , i should NOT i repeat NOT have to offer and advertise FREE ARTWORK to get support on here , if your watching me you should be interested in all or some of my stuff not just the things that benefit you getting porn of your characters i dont charge for my time or work , im sorry but if your watching me i dont see why your watching me if you can leave a favourite or comment just saying anything would be nice

If you want a request off me whislt that journal is open thats fine but just know if one of the few people who actually talks to/supports my work asks also they get priority and if the list fills up and someone who also has shown support asks you will be removed for them to take their place because its FREE art and if you dont give a crap about the rest of my stuff im not gonna give to you over someone who has.

Now ART TRADES are different because your showing interest in my art but you also wanna give back so i dont have an issue here but again rules apply as above people who show support get priority .

Im gonna start a new scheme basically the people who show regular support , are there for me , are my friends , give ideas, give feedback and actually want to do a collab / trade without em having to advertise it those people mean the most because they show they give a genuine interest , so if you fall under this banner , providing i remember at the end of every month you guys will be rewarded , the bigger supporters or closer friends you are the better you'll get , so if you actually care about my stuff and your not afraid to show me that , i'll give back to you without hesitation
