Even though FWA was about a month ago, I think I still needed to do a wrap up on it! :3
FWA was amazing this year! I went up to Atlanta with my mom, Bonnie, and we stayed from Thursday to Sunday!
It was a much needed break from school!

FWA is just a fantastic con that I will attend every year, due to it only being two hours away from my home town!
I met so many people at FWA and visited so many as well!

FWA, to me, is just not long enough. I have to see so many people and do so many things in such a short amount of time :c
I didn't even get to see all the people I wanted to, due to having to see so many!

FWA will always hold a special place in my heart, due to it being my very first con I ever went to and it is also the place I met all of my closest friends at <3

Sadly, I know not everyone had a fantastic con like I did.
There were cars broken into and one car actually stolen!
This was really saddening, but I know that wasn't the convention's fault
Atlanta is one of those places that you have to be extremely careful in and you have to take extreme precautions when there.
I am sorry to the people that had terrible events happen to them :c

LIFE UPDATE!
Well, first of all, I finished up my semester in college!
WOOT WOOT!
This semester, honestly, has been the roughest semester I have ever taken.
I took 7 classes this semester and managed to make all A's and B's!
I was very thankful and proud of the grades I came out with :3

Sadly, as some people know, Sammy and I broke up right after FWA
We ended on good terms, but break ups are never fun

Sammy and I dated for about a year and a half, and he means a lot to me and I wish him nothing but the best <3

NOW
Future cons for me will be Nerdacon in Columbus, GA and possibly FangCon in Knoxville, TN!
I hope I can go to FangCon this year! It is such a short distance from my home that I feel that I might be able to make it :3

I will be taking 7 classes, again, this coming semester so I will try not to die from that overload of work!
OH MAN

but honestly, I am happy where I am at right now in my life :3
We all have ups and downs, but it is all for a reason <3

Well, with it being December 30th
and only 2 more days until 2015
I felt that I should write a 2014 wrap up journal :3

This year, like every single year, had its ups and downs

(Lets start with the downs, because there were far more ups than downs :3)
The downs being things like my health problems, LDR struggles, every day school stress (along side with unnecessary stress from my university), and trying to figure out how to get my money back after having my check card info stolen, and just the every day struggles that this thing called "life" decides to throw at everyone.

But I reeeeeally don't like focusing on the bad things
because, in the end, you really remember the good memories
and I always want to shed light on those, because those are the ones that mean the most <3

- I successfully made it through the last bit of my core classes (along side a sent-straight-from-hell Maymester, where I took 3 classes in 3 weeks) in college, so I will be starting my "block" (major classes) this coming semester.
So I am just THAT much closer to becoming a teacher!

- My health problems, even though they are still very active, were able to be treated with proper medicine and treatment :3

- I was able to manage my money well enough to make it through a year, even though I was having little to no work
and I was blessed at the end of the year with gathering many weddings for next year and even getting some work to end the year off as well <3

- I was able to attend three amazing conventions this year (2 furry, 1 various interests)

- I got to meet 's folks, and enjoy a week with them this past summer :3

- I became "Aunt Nita" this year with my precious niece Veronika <3

- I got a new dog this year (English Bulldog)

- I celebrated my one year anniversary with this past November 4th <3
and was able to spend some time with him this weekend so we could have our Christmas together :3

- and I cannot forget the amazing friends that helped me throughout this entire year with every phone call, text, bowling meet, Jeanicon's, hangouts, and just their general love
I cannot thank them enough, because they made this year that much more better and memorable <3

And those were just highlights from this year
There are so many more, but I am not about to write a novella for a journal haha

Thank you all that made this year a memorable and happy one
It certainly did have its ups and downs and that is ok!
Everything happens for a reason, even if you do not see that reason until it is happening <3
I am who I am for every event that has occurred, even if I didn't want them to happen

But now I am waiting to see what 2015 holds for me, and I am excited and nervous at the sometime
but again
that is ok too :3

Today, is a very sad day... Yesterday, we lost someone in this community due to depression and it being locked up inside for a long time. Marissa Pummill, or as known on FA as /Rue, was sadly the victim of this...

Marissa, I am so sorry that the demons of depression lied to you and said that you leaving was the best option to do... I am so so so sorry. I cry, knowing, another soul was lost to this terrible disease that many suffer from and that has also claimed many many lives, my cousin being one.

Depression is not a joke guys, it never has and never will be. PLEASE, I and literally BEGGING you, if you are suffering or you are considering giving into those same demons, DO NOT DO IT, PLEASE DON'T. Reach out to someone, call for help, do not sit alone and let it morph into something larger.
Because no matter how much you hate yourself or hate your life, people love you and love that your life existed and that you were brought into their lives; People want you to thrive and love life, not hate it.

You are loved, all of you
Every. Single. One. Of. You.

You will be mourned for, you will be cried over, people will care, people will cry out in the night wondering what they could have done to save you, and people will never be the same without you in their lives.
Marissa is in this category as well...

Okay
So during my colonoscopy they took 6 biopsies
Those results came back today

all of them came back normal, which is good!
The stuff he was testing me for was really rough stuff (cancer, fatal diseases etc.)

It is just frustrating for no results to come back

BUT

I went to the doctor today, and updated him on everything that has happened in the past 3-4 weeks since I have seen him

He looked over everything and said that he wanted to make a case for inflammatory bowel disease but, can't because he has no solid proof
So he is going to treat me like I have a very severe case of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)
I am currently already taking 4 medicines, he just added 3 more to that today.

We are hoping I have the syndrome and not the disease
they are both similar, but one is more debilitating over time rather than the other
They are both very rough and can both put you on disability if it is bad enough on the individual
but one will do more damage than the other

He also said that I could have the disease BUT have a not so severe version of it, since all the tests for them is coming back negative.
That is common for autoimmune diseases if they are the not-so-severe version of it.

The medicines that I got today, described by my pharmacist, pretty much shut down your digestive track and numbs your system
So everything going through will be easier and it won't have the bad attacks that I have been having as of late.

It has been very much appreciated that I cannot describe in a simple journal.

This has been such a rough journey, but we are hoping that we are seeing the light at the tunnel instead of another dead end.

From the last update, I was scheduled to have a colonoscopy done this morning and tons of blood work done about 2 weeks ago

All of the blood work came back normal (which I am kinda happy and sad about)
and I did the colonoscopy prep last night and had a really REALLY rough night about 4-6 hours before my actual test
My mom and dad thought they were going to have to call 911 because of how severe my pain was this morning
Thankfully it subsided enough to where I could sleep for about an hour before I had to leave for the hospital for my test

The colonoscopy showed nothing today
He took 6 or so biopsies to test them for different stuff that the blood work may have missed because the stuff that they are thinking that I have is really finicky and will a lot of the time not show up in serology work.
He prescribed me with two different medications, hoping that they will work if nothing else will

Thank you guys for the well wishes, thoughts, prayers, and everything in-between
I really appreciate it and need it.

I really am at a loss of words now since this test showed nothing (we really thought it would, since the CT scan showed so much inflammation and swelling)

I always enjoy conventions, just being able to see friends again is my big thing.

The entire convention, in all, was a very good experience!
I am glad I got to room with people I actually enjoy being with!

I got to see some old friends, meet some awesome people, and get to know some new people :3

Got to drink a good bit, and that is always a positive (as long as you don't black out, like I tend to)

Slept great
Fursuited the entire time (minus maybe 5 hours the entire weekend)
and actually came back with some money instead of empty pockets! :D

I know I posted about my 2013 wrap up earlier, but I wanted to do it a little bit more in depth this time :3

What can I say!
2013 has been a rollar coaster! It has been a great but emotional year.

I received my fursuit of my fursona Jeani back in March that was made by the wonderful
Then later that same week, I attended my first convention ever; Furry Weekend Atlanta 2013!

I was lucky enough to meet (in the following order)






and finally


I then got to be closer with each of these individuals as the year pressed forward <3

I got to finally get into the community a bit more and meet some other awesome people like , , , , , and so many more!
(please don't be offended if I didn't mention your name ;w;. You are still very close and dear to my heart <3)

This year I was able to help a convention get off of the ground a little bit, but had to resign from my position as of three weeks ago due to trying to finish my college degree and balancing a small business on my shoulders.

My photography business starting FLYING this year and that has been a total blessing!
I finally got to really do some Weddings and add them to my portfolio <3
I love doing weddings so much by the way, love getting to be involved with someones HUGE day <33
It is truly an honor.

I was able to reconnect with some old friends of mine that I thought were long gone.
I hope to continue this path and mend all my old broken fences <3

I turned 21!
That was exciting! :D

I attended my second convention ever!
Which was Fangcon 2013!
OH MAN WAS THAT FUN!

I loved it so much due to the fact I was able to spend time with my new friends from earlier that year and then start to make new friends all in the process <3

I sadly and happily broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years this past October.
It was a saddening experience because we had just gotten back together for the second time (trying to give a second chance on things)
But sadly enough, my second chance was not used correctly and I thought it be better if we went our separate ways.

BUT OFF OF SAD THINGS NOW! :D

Breaking up with people leads to new paths and doors being brought to you
Which is why I also say "Happily" broke up with my ex boyfriend
On October 30th I discovered some news that made me quite happy
And that news on October 30th led to and I to merge paths together on November 4th <3

And if anyone knows me
I have had a crush on that Skunk for quite sometime
Dear Lord did I ever hahaha ^///^

This Christmas I recieved my second suit of my other character, JennyAnn made by the marvelous /

All of my holidays were amazing this year, and now the New Year is about to come upon all of us soon enough!

December is my favorite month of the year along with the end of November :3

I, first of all, love Pumpkin Spice things <33
And Fall/Winter is the only time those things come out D:

I love Love LOVE sweaters and knitted shaws and so on :3

I also love cold weather and (when it does every blue moon) SNOW!

I am a big bonfire/fire-place person :3 so ROASTED MARSHMALLOWS FOR EVERYONE <33

But really the biggest reason I love winter so much (besides its wonderful amenities) is this is the time I really get to spend time with all of my family.
I am really close to my family anyways, but it is the one time we put away all bickering, arguments, and differences aside and really get to enjoy each other.

This year I am lucky enough to be able to spend Christmas and (possibly) New Years with

This year has definitely had its ups and downs.
But I can say that I have had one of the greatest years of my life!

I received my fursuit from the wonderful back in March!
I attended my first convention EVER, which was FWA!

I loved the theme of that year because I developed so many lasting relationships at that convention.
It was quite fitting :3

I met the greatest friends I have ever had, , , and there and I can say I am one of the most blessed people in the world because these three people mean the world to me. I just hope they know it :3 <3

My photography business has finally gotten its name out this year! (Gotta love weddings!)

I was able to finally explore Omegle to meet one of my great friends online and I am so glad I was able to meet his fluffy butt <3

Thanks to me finally getting involved with the community through FA, Facebook, and even Omegle I have met so many people and can say I have finally gotten out of this shell of depression that I was submerged into October 2012.

This year, I broke up with my boyfriend I had been dating for nearly two years because of circumstances that made me believe we were better off apart than together.

But I was blessed enough to meet Sammy back in March, and our paths were guided to finally merge together on November 4th of this year and I can say he is not only my boyfriend, but my best friend.
Date your best friend and you are more likely to survive
and you can also talk about butts of any kind and its totally not weird :D

After 2.5 years, I have finally picked up drawing again!
I hope, after a little more practice because of how rusty I am, that I can post some of my finished pieces onto here :3
I hate that I stopped, I don't even really know WHY I stopped.
But all that matters is that I am starting again, no matter how far behind I have fallen in my skills.

I am a firm believer in the Irish Blessing "May God give you...For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh a sweet song and an answer for each prayer."
So in the end, everything will be ok :3
Even if it seems really dim, don't give up!
Because for every tear you shed, will be a smile :3

All I can say is that this year has been a roller coaster!
You are very anxious to get on because you have no idea how it is going to turn out.
It has its unexpected turns
flips
and summersaults
But in the end, you sit back and look on it and smile because you made it!
