Here's the deal. I have this new account here. Long story short. Little bit of drama brought up some negative feelings towards the fursona "Jeddroo" Not really gunna go into specifics. Was also using it as an excuse to try and do a little bit less in the porn department.
Was doodling for a close friend of mine tonight and it made me realize that I kinda miss it. I had a lot of fun doing it. AAAAAAAANYway....

New Job
Posted 16 years agoWell today I informed Potbelly that this would be my last week with them. I don't think Brandon was very happy with me. I do kinda hate leaving on such short notice, but it's an excellent opportunity that I want to get to ASAP, and Morrison needs me to start quickly. Adam seemed pretty okay with it, I even explained the circumstances as to how I obtained the position, which he found rather amusing. I will miss the people at Potbelly, especially Paul and Anna. I'll see Sairo plenty I'm sure anyway ;P
So after I got off work at Potbelly today, I went over to Morrison. James wanted Keggy to show me around and kinda give me a brief overview of what the job intellls. I'll have my own office, with an iMac, an older Apple and a PC, the later two just used for printing purposes. I'm going to have to reteach myself how to use Adobe Illustrator again. Watching Keggy fiddle with the iMac reminded me how badly I want one. At least I'll have one to play with at work. I'll be able to play my music in my office, so long as it isn't explicit, so I imagine a lot of Genesis, The Shins and Muse playing. It seems like a pretty interesting job, and Keggy says they have a lot on their plate right now, so I'll be quite the busy roo. Kind of pushing me into the deep end starting Monday. Lucky for me, I have Thursday off from Potbelly, so I'm gunna be working at Morrison that day. I'm actually gunna be working while Keggy suporvises, which is fine by me. I learn much quicker with the hands on approach. Not to mention, I'll get a $20 check for being there today!
On a side note: Stopped over to check and see how Damian was doing, since he finally got mine and Sairo's strep throat. He seems to be doing a lot better. Get better soon <3

Manditory Con Report: Furry Fiesta
Posted 16 years agoSo this weekend I attended my very first Furry Convention in Addison, TX, Furry Fiesta. I can happily say that it was a total blast.
I was a little nervous at first, willingly going to a giant gathering of "weird" people. Met all kinds there, and all shapes too XP. Most important though, I got to spend the weekend with my best friends, and in the process gain some new ones. It was cool to get to meet
lycan and his boy Rob, 
kyofoxtrot, Zia, 
Rikoshi and several others. I didn't sell as many sketches as I would have liked, but that first day I didn't have a badge for myself, other than the assigned con-badge. Most definately gunna grab myself a table in Aritist Ally next year, everyone said I would have made off like a bandit. D:
The night prior to, I ended up making
Damienhusky and 
Sairo a couples badge that matched up to make one picture when you put them next to each other. I lost the Potbelly bag badge I made for Sairo, so I felt bad, plus I knew Damien needed a new one :3 Throughout the con, every time they ran into each other, they'd put them together and giggle. I'm glad they really liked it, it's actually probably one of my better drawings, I'll need to get them to scan them to show.
An interesting aspect of the con for me was I sat and hung out with
foxesrockyou a lot more than I usually do. We kinda got to know each other a little better and he had made some suggestions about my artwork that I will be taking some serious consideration to. 
Fuzzwolf still wants to meet up wtih me and talk about doing something productive with my artwork, and Foxes has suggest making a calender. I'm actually all for the idea and would love some feed back or suggestions for said project if I go through with it.
I attended several art panels throughout the con, many of which I really didn't need to attend, but I was just more interested in getting a preview of how other artists go about their work. For the most part, they where okay. I found myself doing a little back seat teaching, though I don't think anyone realized who I was. The instructor did look over my shoulder and say "What the hell are you in here for?" But dear god, there was this one terribly annoying bitch in everything I went to. She was clearly not all there, and couldn't shut up for more than 10 seconds. What made it worst is she'd wander into these panels waaaay late, then ask questions that were covered a long time ago.
Poor :icon:Carver, we ended up accidently leaving him alone the first night to play security all by himself. Haven't heard to many details, aside from shrooms and removing furries from a tree. Sairo took over for him the next night along with the rest of us, though Damien, me, Lycan and Rob left around 1:30 am, to go back to his place and sleep. Sairo had fun though, and I have to admit, I did too. Sairo and I are definately gunna be part of the security team next Furry Fiesta, especially because I'd get to be there for free :D
I'd say my favorite part of the weekend was the live recording of
Knotcast. Sairo and I grabbed front row seats, to enjoy and even be part of the show. The show is a lot different with a live audience, and you could tell that Damien, Fuzz, 
zapnutshakur, 
justafox, and the token females where a little nervous about doing this in front of a crowd, but I think they did an excellent job of it, even with the annoying bitch standing up and killing 15 minutes of the show.
All in all, it was an excellent con. I'm hoping next year, I can talk keglunek into coming for the ride :3

This roo will be, along with my sketchbook and pencils for all those who are going to be interested them cheap-o $5 sketches! (No, that doesn't mean I'm open for commissions again. D: Sorry guys, just a lot on my plate, I'm very slowly trying to get through them.)
I also understand a lot of people carry around sketchbooks for the artists to doodle in. So if you'd rather your sketch done in there I'd be delighted to (for the before mentioned price <3). Unfortunately, I'm lame and didn't try to get myself a table to do this at, so you'll just have to hunt for me. I'll be the blue roo with the badge that says DOC.

I dunno what I was doing or looking at when I selected the name Jedd, maybe I was drunk, but in retrospect, it makes me sound like a pig farmer, which any one who knows me can tell you I'm far from. The good news is, I'm sitting down to try and get back to my commissions again.
The bad news is, my mailbox is in shambles. I'm trying to figure out who I owe stuff to.

These past few months have been kind of crazy here. Moving into a new apartment, finding a job, etc. etc. etc. Here in a few weeks I'm gunna be flying to Illinois with my mate for Christmas and then driving my car back.

This place is seriously nice. We feel like we should be paying more for it than we are, plus they had a special 1 month free going on that we stretched out make all of our rent payments a bit cheaper. We'll be moving to North Dallas a lot closer to my buddies (The Knotcasters) and Keggy's job.
And speaking of Knotcast...
So it seems that this roo is gunna be the "Token Female" on Episode 30, that will be recorded this Thursday. I'm excited because I've been a fan of the show for awhile and conveniently enough, Two of them have become some of my best friends since I've moved to Texas. It's gunna an open forum, no set topic, so send in your questions and listen to me try not to make a fool of myself. Give the other episodes a listen to and comment on them on iTunes! Help the Knotcasters out!

Commissions!
Posted 17 years agoThis is how I decide it's gunna work. I'm gunna be excepting 3 commission slots. Reason being, after yesterday's post, I received 20+ commission requests. That's a little much though I am thrilled so many people are interested.
As for those who are interested in the $5 sketches, I'll still be doing those on the side and they'll have their own slot setup, sticking with the ten.
---Commission Prices---
Sketch: $5.00
Inked: $15.00
Full Color: $35.00
--Additional Characters--
Sketch: +$2 per character
Ink: +$5 per character
Full Color: +$10 per character
--Special--
Full color: $10 discount if prints are allowed to be sold.
I've created a separate email account just for dealing with commissions (mainly due to notes getting lost in my inbox). If you are interested email me and give me a description of what you are looking for (sketch, ink, color, character number, etc...). In the subject line, please inform me which kind of commission you're seeking, it'll help me keep things straight in my mailbox. If I take your commission, I'll respond to your email asking for further details.

Posted 17 years agoFirst and foremost, thanks to all you have recently started watching me and faving my works. Crazy how quickly those numbers have been rolling up lately. I really appreciate you guys, even if I don't have the time to respond to all the comments.
I know there were several people interested in getting one of my $5 sketches. I'm thrilled that so many jumped at that, but more so recently, due to the Damien commission. I've suddenly got a huge interest in commissions. I'm trying to figure out how I want to handle all that.
And on top of all that...I have been approached by a pretty well known furry publisher who wants to sell prints and possibly a CD of my work (though I don't have enough to do the later yet). I'm gunna be talking to him about that, amongst other project ideas he's had. Would anybody be interested in prints?
