Seeking advice
General | Posted 13 years agoLately Ive been trying to advance beyond still images and to use more of blenders functions. Even though i have posted two small animations with moxy. they were still tests and I have not had success with further attempts.
The main problem area is with blenders soft bodies. For the lif of me I cant Find a damn thing on getting my female characters ( and face it its what soft bodies should be for) breasts to act like soft yet solid objects Only to find A Thousand Freeking Tutorials on HOW to Simulate A Fucking JELLO CUBE.....AAARGG...
sorry
Ya but really
See blender has two physics systems Cloth and Soft Bodies. Cloth is just fine for exactly what its labeled after and it doesn't use up to many comp resources to wile setting it up. Its good at simulating soft flat or hallow objects like sheets and shirts.
How ever Soft bodies you would think should simulate an object that is filled with something like a gas fluid or even an elastic structure like foam.but to me it seems ti just be a cloth sim with extra settings. I feel like every time I try to set some system up I just end up setting one up against another to get the physical properties I want.
I want my character breasts to move a little with there motion, to conform to something when it pushes pushes against them. Not to collapse and crumple like a mylar balloon.
well that turned into a rant real quick
anyway if anyone who see this happens to know of any setting plug-ins alternative methods to get any type of object to react similar to a pollow I'd appreciate a heads up.

Credit where due 1
General | Posted 14 years agoK im about to submit a few pics of characters i made useing parts from DAZ/Poser figures. I wana make sure to give credit to the originals. Also to correct that i forgot to credit DAZ for the milenium horse geometry i exporte for the two horses Midknight and Tsuki in my western pics posted earlier.
Lavender and Flame were made using Capsces and LittleFox's Dimond base and carosel pack. Specificley the head mane and tail I exported to blender and edited.

General | Posted 15 years agoSome more pics of Moxi. I gave her some hands now kept trying to come up with way for her to hold things. As hard as hands are to make look good they usualy are the best...but she still has her cute round feet:)

General | Posted 16 years agoIv'e posted my first pic of a rigged character still needs some tweeking.
The only problem i seem to have is that once pulling all the parts together my pc has slowed down to mutch to do much more. I was hopeing to addin some cloth and softbody phisics and do some short animation.Well actualy the sytems are in place and I did some short tests once Vogue herself was riged. But any way my poor 5 year old comp dosent seem to be able to handel what I want to do.
But there is hope for an upgrade soon so you know this isent a ple for help. For now ill probly move onto an new model for my own fursona, avtar, what have you and see if i can streamline some things. Blender 2.5 is also an option see if its more resourse frendly.I also plan to check out a scrip set from Blender 3D club that lets you set up Figures for loading into Daz studio.

Starting Anew ...somewhat
General | Posted 16 years agoWell for starts Ive given up on Truespace and have found the joy of Blender 3D https://www.Blender.org . Blender not only has better Hair simulation and skeletal tools but is way more stable.
Ive just posted my first truly from scratch singel mesh figure "female of course".
The pic I recenty uped is still a wip. Ive used pices of a seris of sketches called Bare Cowgirl by Chalo aka Chalodillo artist of the wounderful LasLinda web comic and of many works here in his own gallery http://www.furaffinity.net/user/chalodillo/ .
