Dragon Pack Ideas

I'm starting to collect ideas for my next pack, which is going to be all about DRAGONS! I have some ideas already, but I thought it would be fun to invite all of you guys to suggest things. Characters to draw, situations to have, stuff like that. I'm thinking of doing a comic page or two, a couple of sequences, some scenes, and some pin-ups.
I can't add everything, of course. I'm just excited to see what people want, and looking for a bit of inspiration. :) What do you think?

I'll be streaming work on them tonight about 8pm pst, and if I don't complete them tonight, they'll be finished tomorrow morning. Single character only please. The price is $40, and because I've found it's often quite a bit of extra work, complex props or slob details will be +$5.

Stream Commissions Today!
General | Posted 10 years agoSince yesterday was quite the success, I'm going to do another stream today picking up where I left off. This time it's going to be from 3pm PST to 6pm PST. I'm going to be adjusting the prices a little bit, since I've been doing grayscale coloring. Stream commissions will now be $30 for grayscale, (ex. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18126949/ or http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18126929/) or $40 for color. (If you grabbed a slot yesterday the price change does not apply). Those who asked to be on the list yesterday get first dibs!
In other news, I am now officially open for Christmas present commissions. If you want to get someone a present for Christmas in secret, send me a note and we can work it out. These commissions will be worked on at a slower pace then regular ones (because the deadline will be Christmas!) but are guaranteed to be done on time. Prices are my normal prices! Any questions, again, send me a note!

What's Going on With Me, an Update!

I've had a BUSY couple of weeks, on top of fighting off a cold at the beginning of the month and spending a week visiting friends on the east coast. But I'm caught up and back in action!
Here's what's new:
- I just released a new Halloween themed pack with a good friend,
midsummernightsdream. It was really fun and amazing to do collab work like this, and I'm REALLY happy with the result. You can pick the pack up here: http://www.e-junkie.com/281927/prod.....alloween+Treat
- I'm wrapping up a few private commissions and the last bits of art for the Bake Sale Growth Drive. When that's all done, there are a few personal things I want to finish up and post (more Hefty Reward for one!) and then I'll be opening up Iron Artist slots with a new twist. Expect to see those slots available by the start of next week!
- Blobin Hood 2: Maid Marian Made Massive is chugging right along. I think this one looks even better than the first, and I'm going to include several bonus sketches of the characters. I'm hoping to release this pack in the second week of November, and I'm right on track to meet that deadline! I can't wait for you guys to see this one.
- For those of you into human fatties as well as furry fatties, I have a 6 page comic in
agouti-rex's weighty anthology Muffintop 3! My contribution is the holiday appropriate Curse of the Werefatty, the story of a sexy police officer who bites off a little more than she can chew. Check it out here: http://galago.deviantart.com/art/Mu.....-out-565290543
- I'm contemplating giving my Patreon another overhaul. I'm not satisfied with how it's working right now. I want to find a better way to operate it where I feel I'm getting reasonable pay for my work, but my patrons are getting the content they deserve for the price they're paying. - I've been revisiting digital art! Currently, about 99% of my art is digitally colored pencil drawings. I've done a couple of digital pieces recently that I'm very happy with, and will likely do more. You know what this means? Art streams! I'm looking forward to it.

Why I'm Running the Growth Fundraiser...

When I posted the growth drive, there are a few things I left out. I chose to be a lot more vague about why I needed the money than I could have. I was hesitant to post details because I felt slightly embarrassed to be running a fundraiser at all. I tend to prefer to earn money than ask for it, though I considered a growth drive to be a bit of both, since I WILL be doing drawings as part of it.
The reason I decided to hold the drive is that I recently found out that I'm going to be have a major dental surgery in 3-4 months that for reasons I won't go into my insurance won't cover. According to my oral surgeon, it's going to be at the minimum $7000 out of my pocket. While they'll set up a payment plan for me, I really want to save up as much money as possible beforehand so the weight of the payments isn't as bad. Hence the growth drive. There will also likely be an increase in commission slots, pack releases, and I'm working on a new format for my Patreon to make it better for everyone involved. Every dollar I earn from these things will be going straight into my surgery fund.
The second bit of information I left out was unintentional, I just forgot to include it. The milestones are every $100 donated. At every $100 mark, I'll be drawing at least one two character picture of Jelli and whoever the top donor is in that $100 chunk. These will be full color, shaded pictures. If you donate over $50 total, you can have me draw Jelli, at her current level of fatness, in whatever outfit you decide. Anything goes. Bikini? Maid outfit? Gothic lolita? Nude? Whatever you want.
I'll be adding this info to the fundraiser submission itself. Thanks again everyone, for all of your kindness and support! <3

I'm starting on my next pack, which is going to be a rule thirtyfat collection. This means I'm going to be doing fat fanart for various characters! I have some ideas already of characters to draw, but I thought it would be fun to hear suggestions from you! Updates! Patreon, Pack Sketch Auctions, and Iron Artist

So I've been having some issues with Patreon that's been throwing off my updates. I wanted to post a journal about it to let my followers and patrons know what was going on. In the past week or so I've had four fake pledges in my $25 tier. I believe someone is making fake Patreon accounts with fake emails to bump up the total so my comics will have more pages. I was fooled the first time, and restarted my voting process unnecessarily. I'm going to be more cautious in the future and check all new pledges to see if they're fake right away. I don't foresee any further delays on my Patreon comics. Sorry for making everyone wait!

Here's something else! Aurelina recently gave me the idea of auction off the original sketches for some of my packs. I've decided to give it a try! In the next few days, I'll be setting up an auction for the original pencils for the Blobin Hood Comic pack, probably bundled together with a few other goodies. I'll post more about that when the time comes. It's gonna be cool.
I'm about to hit the halfway point on Iron Artist! Woooo! I plan on ramping it up a bit, so expect to see a lot more of those Iron Artist slots opening up in the near future. I'm having a blast with it!

Jelliroll Patreon Returns - Now Serving Comics!
General | Posted 10 years agoI'm very pleased to announce that I'm reinstating the Jelliroll Patreon! I've made a few adjustments to make it a better experience for both patrons and myself. Here are the changes I've made:
1. Instead of charging month to month, you'll be paying per release. This means that you won't pay for content until it's done and posted.
2. Instead of random sketches and sneak peeks at my upcoming packs, patrons will get access to comics, content chosen by patrons for patrons, a full weeks before they're posted here on FA.
3. The total amount pledged determines the length of the comics. The more pledged, the longer they are!
