First off, I'd like to say welcome back to everyone. I'm sure none of us were expecting a weeks long site outage, but at least we all made it back. Figured I could take the opportunity to make a general update since we can finally post again.

So What's Been Going On?

It's mostly been the same as usual, working the job I started last October. The hours are kinda brutal to be honest with two 13 hour shifts back to back followed by an 11 hour shift, but the fact that I only have to work three days a week helps to balance that out. Other than that, I made some upgrades to my PC and it can do (mostly) what I want it to now.

What About OCs and Art?

I kinda had to put OC art on the backburner recently thanks to things like insurance bills coming due, but that doesn't mean that I don't have some art in the pipeline. In fact I have some that I can technically post right now, but I'll hold off until my next off day so they're not swept away in the flood of new submissions now that FA is back online.

Yeah, nothing too interesting but just wanted to get something out there. As always, be sure to keep an eye out for new pics and updates!

Apologies for the silence, some things have been going on in my life that have made it tough for me to post very much. This journal should explain what's been going on.

What Happened?
Back in early October, I lost my previous job which put a lot of my spending on ice. Thankfully I have since managed to get a new job, but I still haven't been paid yet and will not be paid until the 15th. This also means that my schedule has taken a massive change. My new working schedule is Wednesday through Friday and they are all overnight shifts, so most of my online presence will be limited to the late afternoons at the earliest and extend well into the night on my off days. Upside is that I will be paid far better at my new job, so hopefully that means more art!

Any Other Changes?
I will no longer use Twitter as my main site, with the massive exodus from Twitter due to Elon's dumbassery it has become apparent that site will not be a great place to post stuff anymore. That being said, I'm not deleting my account or anything if you want to see my old posts. Any Upcoming Plans?
I'm hoping to get more commissions soon but with me owing some money to others while I was without a job, those will need to be my first priority. That being said, I can expect to be back to normal by the end of December or early January. In the meantime, I'll still be milling about here or on Bluesky or Discord.

As you all have probably heard, Dragoneer AKA the owner and one of the founders of FA has died after a brief battle with an as of yet unknown illness. This news has sent shockwaves throughout the furry fandom and understandably so, his death was sudden and unexpected.

I will be honest and say that I had some personal issues with the man, I did not agree with some of the policies he enacted for the site and some of the company he kept was questionable at best. All of that said, I can put my feelings of him to the side knowing that his passing was needlessly tragic. He was struggling with the US Healthcare system, trying to find some sort of diagnosis to the affliction he was suffering from all while the doctors and hospitals he went to were bleeding him dry financially. Needless to say, he will be dearly missed. His impact on the furry community and the internet at large cannot be understated, and I send my sincerest condolences to his family and friends. Rest in Peace and may he find happiness in the next life.

So as some of you know, I've been using Toyhouse to host my OCs that I'm trying to sell. However I've been having an issue where those who don't have TH accounts can't see the images for the listings without having to register for an account. Which brings me to my question: Is there a place that works like Toyhouse or is at least a close approximation of it that allows non-users to see images? I'd hate to have to leave since it's so convenient for keeping everything in one place but if nobody can see the images then there isn't much of a point in staying.

Yep, I managed to get into Bluesky because Twitter's quickly going down the toilet. I'm not actually going to leave until it actually becomes too hard or impossible to use but consider this place along with my other hangouts a sort of backup if that happens.

My Paypal account is in the negatives thanks to my bank declining a charge and I just recently started a new job so money is a little tight, so now it's time to go through my folder of characters I have no plans on using and see if I can get them new homes. Bad news: Due to medical expenses incurred by sciatic nerve pain, I'm gonna have to slow down on comms for a while. Lost a week of work due to it and while my job isn't in any danger thanks to FMLA, I will still be losing quite a bit of income thanks to it. So I gotta save up again.

Hey guys, I just wanted to give a big thank you to all the new watchers I received over the past year and congratulate everyone on making it through this tumultuous year.

Since the new year is now just a few short hours away, I thought I'd share a few ideas I have going forward on this and other profiles. As you all know, there were stints throughout the year where I would be silent for a long time before suddenly popping back up with activity mainly that of posting new art and characters I've received. That would be down to the fact that I purchased a lot of adopts and would immediately get new art of them, but it wouldn't leave me too much leftover to get even more. So I decided to cut back on adopts for a good while and focus on getting art on characters I already have instead. I already have a few pieces in the pipeline from some great artists and I can't wait to show you all everything I have coming soon! Back to all of these characters, I've hit a point where I realize that I have just too many, far more than I have ever posted here. So I may go for an eventual adopt purge, where I take characters I previously purchased but have no plans for and instead sell them off to those who may better use them. Don't expect this to be immediate, as there is a LOT to go through and I have to double check to see what I actually paid for these characters and if the artists even allow for them to be resold.

In short, there are a few changes in store but I hope everyone has an amazing new year in the meantime! Be safe, everyone.
