I know, this page has been on a hiatus for a loooong time, but whatever.
I want to show you some project i was helping with recently, and i'd like to ask some of you help me spread a word around about it - or contribute, if you want to.
It's a web-based zine, furry-adjacent. And everyone's very welcome to hop on one of the topics for the upcoming first issue:
music, art, text, and any other media - there's place for everything.
And right now we are in dire need for some content for it.

Something quite rare (AUDIO)

St.Petersburg, 1997-1998. PORT FM.
In short, it was hell of a radio - worked only for one year?!,
but was THE ONLY ONE that broadcasted jungle/dnb/ambient LIVE mixes from a bunch of vinyls.
Mostly "UK oldskool" ones.
In some way, this is a real piece of russian underground scene?, and i think y'all should at least know that all this existed. *shrug*

[SOLVED] Mission Impossiburu - Volito 2 on Windows 8.1 Pro

Only after 8? days, some reverse-engineering + "cheking it's guts up with other models of same era" ))
(i really lost count for time, ain't i...heh.)
Driver .EXE name is PenTablet_533-2.
By the default settings it works perfectly - no lost connection from pen to tablet,
pressure sensitivity working as it should be, mapping woking too,
Windows Ink (that is a little buggy, but helps sometimes)....
What should i say? Was it worth it?
For it's price - 'round 10-12$ on "russian craiglist" in "slightly used" condition...
It worth every penny. Cause you'll get a good piece of 'ware to work with.
And have fun reanimating it for modern software if it older than 14 years, definitely )))
But really... i'm glad i got it working again.
I suppose, now it's time for me to teach myself to draw in trad. again.... after some time. )

It's the third day i trying to find working driver for Wacom Volito 2.
All drivers below was tested out in Photoshop CS6 with a default "2B Pensil" brush.

And, pressure sensitivity is simply not working + lags with fast movement of pen when drawing -
cursor starts spazing out a bit in process, if you move pen fast.
Can somebody help me with that?
P.S. Please, no stupid & blunt advices such as "update to Win 10" or " Go Linux, it's working there" - it's not an option here.

life advice (or how to make very concentrated ground coffee)
Posted 8 years agoalmost a year now making ground coffee. that's my crappy recipie:
in 0.5L cezve, approx. 6-12 teaspoons of sugar + a little bit of water to cover all that sugar, when sugar melts and you can feel the "light caramel" smell,
adding approx. 4-7 FULL teaspoons of ground coffee, and filling it with water up to approx. 1cm from edge.
when part on surface becomes a bit harder, and after some time breaks (and you hear boiling),
it's time to pour it into cup or thermos. (DO NOT FORGET FILTER IT WITH FINE FILTER WHEN POURING) Add milk or other things at will.
Mostly, i pour it into 1.5L thermos and adding 0.5L of milk and some liquor (approx 50-120ml of 40% liquor)
for a night to work with pics or some 'wares, and thermos is already empty after 2-3 hours of work.
The advice is, never try to do it every 2 days for a year.
it's like drinking some enegretic drinks for a night. but speeds up even more + alcohol )
In other words, it's bad for your health. )
