For some reason I feel better than I've felt for the past few weeks. Maybe I'm finally getting things out of my system. I mean, I was up until 4am this morning sobbing like a child and I had to be at work at 7. I hope I'm not speaking too soon though. >.> I was at a point where I had nearly lost it yesterday. Strongly thinking of seeing a psychiatrist, and I might still do that at some point for other issues. I won't go into detail. Almost posted a journal about it but decided it was probably spur of the moment and let it sit until I got back from work, where I decided it wasn't really worth posting. Umm... one my cats wouldn't leave me alone when I was trying to sleep, drooled all over my face and blankets, bleh! >__< He's been a real pest lately.

So yeah, I'm feeling pretty chipper right now. It's a nice reprieve after having been depressed for what seems like forever. Putting my thoughts down on journals, plus lots of tears and music does pays off I guess. And wow, I finally got some prints in the mail from  kathy-lu! She made this little badge type thing of my sona as a gift for having me wait so long for them, and OMG it's freaking adorable!!! <3 I love it so much! Made my night even better! I'll scan it sometime for y'all. :D

On top of that, Amun recently finished a commission for me. Which after I (probably) add some nice text to it, I'll be posting up. I'm sure you guys will love it. ;3

Been listening to a lot of good bands lately, they helped the tears and emotions out. Creed, P.O.D., Saliva, Shinedown, and Papa Roach. Love those guys!

Anyway, the winner of the contest is  mitsozuka! Congrats! =D

There were several factors that played into this, the first one being his short story. It is well formed and has a very realistic and believable feel to it. The details were clear and concise, yet varied, flowing smoothly from one part to the next. His use of creative vocabulary for describing character elements was very impressive and original - he thought outside the box and didn't rush it. The character interactions were also well thought out and expressed, tending to give the reader subtle clues about the characters themselves (personality, sense of humor, etc.). I especially liked how it seems he picked up on how Jen can be timid and hesitant sometimes. Good job with doing your homework. ;3 All of this comes wonderfully together to produce a pretty vivid mental image of the scene (which I'm pretty fond of actually...massages gone intimate X3).

The other things that played into this was the character himself and my personal interests. Namely, his physical features are what got my attention. He's a vastly different species than Jen is and he's big. I'm talking more than just his length here, I'm talking his overall size. I have a thing for size difference involving big guys and smaller girls. But not on an overly extreme level. The other part I really liked about this goes back to his story where Mitso is giving Jen oral with his tongue. Cunnilingus = <3 and the way he described it was even more <3!

So yeah! Awesome job, Mitso! ;3

Now for those of you who participated, I'd like to extend my thanks for your efforts. You guys helped make this contest a success! As well as very interesting. I'd especially like to thank  sherlykaru for plugging the contest. That was a big help! Thanks again! <3 There were several good, interesting ideas and characters to choose from and I took my time deciding which one I would pick.

I'd also like to issue an apology to anyone I may have upset for changing some things a little bit after it got started but I realized that I wasn't getting the kind of responses I was wanting which made me question how thoroughly I was going to judge the entries, so I had to revise what I said to better clarify what I wanted. I'm not always that good at expressing things, especially at 1:30 in the morning, lmao. @.@ I've never held a contest before anyway so I learned some things too. ^^ Again, thanks guys!

I've got Jen (NSFW), but I need another character to go with her. It's gonna be a mature/adult* piece by the way and there will be no cost involved as I've already paid for it. Okay so yesterday, got home from work, took a nap from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. Went back to bed around 12:30am and woke up at 11:00 am (with some brief wake ups in-between cause my body wanted to wake up and I didn't, lol). Anyway, I had THREE dreams over the course of my second sleep session.

First one was kinda short, all I remember is that I was in some kinda fight, got stabbed in the neck, died, and somehow came back to life later to kick the guys ass. >__>

Second dream, and this is gonna sound very odd, I was Alice from the Resident Evil series killing loads of zombies and Umbrella Corp. cronies inside an office building. That was interesting and very fun. XD

Third dream. Zombie apocalypse yet again. This time I'm at home with my folks. I'm freaking out trying to find dad's ammo for his guns since I knew where they were but couldn't find any ammo for them. Dad says he's got plenty, I ask how much. Says he's got 100k rounds of .223 ammo @.@ hot damn dad! X3 So I load up some AR-15s and an AK-47, put on two holster belts, one for my left (which had a 9mm Beretta), and one for my right (which was a Colt .45 1911). We ventured out, found a truck, tried to get out of the city through hoards of zombies. I'm standing up on the truck, trying to keep from getting thrown off as we hit some of em, shooting the ones in front of us with the AR. I'm so loaded down with ammo, I'm tired, but I keep shooting as dad is gunning it at like 60mph or so down the city roads. I have no clue what mom and sis were doing, but it seemed like I was the only one even doing the shooting, haha! XD Yeah, I had loads of fun in that one. I dunno if we made it out or not though, woke up before it was over.

Haven't had a session like that EVER! I've never had that many dreams that I could recall in one night. They were all fun though. And it was probably thanks to the fact that I'd been playing a few hours of Modern Warfare 2 followed by 2 more hours of playing Killing Floor online before I went to bed. Zombies, guns, epicness! I woke up feeling a bit tired but very satisfied. >w> Heck for a moment I actually thought that it was still happening when I woke up. X3

Anyway, amusing dreams aside, I haven't ranted about what I did on Saturday. :3 I went to the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot in Westpoint, Kentucky with my dad. Looked at all the vendor stuff, didn't pay as much attention to the shoot (or taking pictures for that matter) as I usually do. Before we left, I got in line on one of the lower ranges. I dished out $140 to shoot a 50-round belt through a M249 SAW, a 30 round clip out of a M1919 Thomson, and a 20 round clip through a BAR - all fully automatic. It was over in a few minutes, but man was it a blast. Definitely worth it, especially with the Thomson and BAR, that's some history there. I've got some pics which I might post up later, and a short 1-2 second video clip (since dad didn't know how to work the video and kept hitting the capture button ><).

I was planning on taking a Huey ride too but I let it go. Figure I'll do it next time. It wasn't that I didn't have money (it's at least $100 for a ride by the way), dad was wanting to go and I was getting sore from walking so much. XD

As some of you know I saw the movie "Alpha and Omega" today (technically yesterday since it's now 12:41am). I just got back from watching "Inception." I believe this is the first time ever that I have gone and watched two theater movies in one day. Come to think of it, I've seen more movies this year than I have in the past 5 years. Go me! Lol!

Anyway, Inception was awesome and it's very entertaining to think about the whole concept of building a dream, and then having a dream in a dream within a dream, and how everything takes place simultaneously across multiple dream levels. Go watch it, it's worth the cost and 148 minutes of your life!!! X3

Going through my massive archive of stuff on my computer, I stumbled across a journal I wrote back on August 25th of last year. I remember part of it, but I don't remember ever achieving the amount of detail I put down. It's almost like someone else wrote it...It's weird...And what is even weirder is how this seems to have some real-life connections. I'm pasting the contents of the journal below, exactly as I wrote them one year ago.

I was enrolled in a class at HSE that was supposedly preparing me for what I would be doing after I had graduated Ohio Tech. First day goes well, I met a few friends, but there were some strange things going on. My locker had the same combination as the combination of my locker from school last year. After I had opened and closed my locker, I found an open lock in my pocket that looked like all the others along the top row of lockers that required external locks, while mine along the bottom had the lock built in. There was one locker along the top that was missing its lock. But before I put the lock on, there was a woman, she looked like a security guard, standing in front of the exit doors at the end of the hall. She looked very agitated about something...glaring at me. She made me very nervous as I then put the lock on that locker, but I didn't close the shackel to secure it, and I went to class. The only class I remember taking was an English class, with a rather interesting teacher and a girl I really had something for. Towards the end of the first day, that same girl, one who wasnt the prettiest girl, or the most popular, but kinda nerdy looking, was looking very sad. I took my arm over her shoulder and walked her out of the room, asking her what was wrong. She said nothing. I continue to glance at her with a reassuring smile. She looks back at me and in a few more moments started crying really intensely. I try to comfort her, remaining by her side, her in my arms as we walked down the crowded hallway and I ask her a few more times what is wrong. She remains silent. It cuts out.

The next day comes, and on my way to class, I see her again in the hall. She sees me and stops. She looks very excited and happy to see me as I walk past. I bid her good morning, but she still remains silent. I did not look back at her as I walked on to class. I get to class and everyone is there. The teacher tells everyone to turn in their assignment from the night before. I find myself confused as I didn't remember an assignment being given, nor had I recieved my books for class yet. The teacher says something, but I can't remember what it was. Suddenly the classroom is empty and only the teacher and I are there. I'm doing something, I can't really remember what it is, I think making up the assignment, but there is another man in the room with the teacher. He explains why it is important that I do well, why I'm there in the first place. Another cut out and I'm in what seems to be a side room to the classroom and my computer is there. But this is a very advanced computer, with a holographic display. I was trying to show the teacher something, but I was trying to be quiet about it as the thing started to play music. The music got louder and louder and I was continuously turning it down for what seemed like several minutes. For some reason, I think the class was back in the room because I could hear people talking. They were talking about me, telling the teacher that she shouldn't be letting me do what I'm doing because it will interrupt the class. Another cut out.

Now I am in a garage, I think it's one of the school garages, with a few friends. I don't know what we are doing there, but one of their sisters comes in after a moment, saying they have to go home. This was one of my close friends who had to leave. Interestingly, I have no idea who the other person that was with us was. But something happened and my friend had to go home. It cuts out.

There was a part of my dream where we were running from these large, less intelligent creatures. They are taller than us, have long fur on parts of their bodies, and are very muscular, like, excessively bulky muscular - they don't even look human. Me and these other people were Jews* who had made it across a lake by boat in an effort to escape the pursuers, but the pursuers followed us, swimming across the lake. I tried to use something like a molotov to set the water on fire to try to stop them, but it didn't work as the fires went out before they could be of any good. Some people mananged to escape before we were surrounded. I was not one of them who escaped. So now I'm walking with them down a hill and someone, they seemed like a mercenary or something, but he was like the rest of them, except he looked normal, told me that his...something needed food. I thought they were going to kill me, but for some reason I held my left arm out and he took a knife to it. I tried to draw my arm back, but something he did stopped me, and he started cutting around it at the fore arm down to the bone. I don't remember him completely cutting through the rest of it or anything, but it seemed like forever...the intense pain, which I remember...which is when I woke up. And when I woke up, my left arm was asleep** from the point of where it had been cut in the dream. They say that when you have a limb removed, it feels like the limb is asleep, even though it is no longer there...

So yeah, weird dream, weird connections I can make to it with possible symbolisms. I won't go into that though. Just thought I'd share something random but possibly interesting. ^^;

** More so completely dead and limp, I couldn't move it for a while.

...that I had a fursuit of my sona and I was running around having a good time with it just being a fun, lovable, huggable kitty! :3 It felt so liberating... Haha, of all things to have a dream about! XD

Oh and erm, good mornin' ^^

Today at work I overheard a man making a phone call, one of our residents, to the church...He was asking if a minister could come and give his wife her Last Rites at the end of the day. She hasn't been doing well for a while now. She woke up this morning and she doesn't remember him...she's stopped eating... I didn't talk to him, but I could feel his sadness and off and on throughout the day I've cried for him. I also ended up delivering a room tray for his wife later in the day. You could see the desperation and sadness in his face, the wetness of his eyes. A man who was losing the one thing he loved most in his life. I almost cried right in front of him, but I told him to take care and left, tears streaming down my face as I walked down the hall. I feel for this man, whom I've never known or talked to. It's strange, but it's made me realize how much sadness there is in the world...and think about the things that I have that I am thankful for.

I'm thankful:
- For my family, who care so very much for me.
- For friends, even though I've never had many.
- For my job. It's not the best, but it's bearable.
- For the opportunity I had to love someone and be loved in return, even though it is now over and I'm grieving.
- For the life I've been blessed with, even though things haven't always worked out the way I wanted. I believe the Lord will guide my path in life. I realize that we aren't put through trials to destroy or ruin us, but that they exist to build and shape our character and integrity.

This is very generalized. I could go into so much more detail, there are a lot more things in specific that I'm thankful for and why, but I won't. I've got things to do! =P

Story Description:
Summer is one of those seasons that stands out for its own unique and favorable qualities over all others - warm sunny days, cool nights... and frequent but magnificent thunder storms. Today was one of those good days. The sky was clear and sunny with a few wandering clouds trying to find their way. A pleasant breeze caresses the endless fields of grass that stretch to the horizon in nearly all directions - it felt good blowing through his short blond hair and white and grey striped fur. The day was perfect and Jeremy knew well who he would pleasure to spend this day with, so he invited Amma to have a picnic with him and spend the afternoon with him. They needed to wind down and catch up with each other anyway, having been apart for a while, so she delightfully obliged. He had taken her way out in the country, where the busy city life they were so used to was more of a myth than a reality and they could just let time slip away for a while. Having set down on a colorful blanket under the shade of a humbling oak tree, they enjoyed some cold cut sandwiches, salads, and home made lemonade.

Jeremy sat with his back barely against the tree, Amma at his side, leaning against his shoulder as they talked of life - of their families and friends and how they were getting along. The evening quickly progressed and they talked about so many things, and sometimes they would cast playful glances at each other in their closeness. Jeremy re-situates himself against the tree and relaxes a bit, purring very slightly as he thought about how well the day had been. The sun was beginning to set and he closes his eyes for a moment. A moment later he jerks and gasps as he feels a pair of hands abruptly push him back more against the tree. Amma had straddled his lap, kneeling against him with her hands holding him against the tree by the shoulders. There was a devious look to her that told him that she had something very special to add to their memory of this evening. "Hey baby~" She whispers, bringing her face closer to his. Making eye contact with her for a moment and staring into the glossy depths, Jeremy instinctively knew what was coming. "H-Hey~" He whispers back, starting to purr a little louder, being the timid kitty he was as she brought her face even closer to his. He blushes deeply as his lips finally meet with hers in a tender loving kiss. She kneads at his shoulders briefly and they both purr deep in affection towards each other, eventually wrapping their arms around each others neck as they got as close as possible. Their tails twitch and mingle happily together and they relish in their passion, holding onto the moment as long as the daylight would permit.
