Sorry for the drama
Posted 2 years agoHonestly, when authority suppresses new forms of expression and creation, for whatever reason, it's the community that loses out. As part of that community, it makes me sad, but it's not worth getting angry over. The FA admins will be FA admins; they took over a decade to rescind the 'no 3d art' rule if my memory serves.
Do I feel that it's knee-jerk, reactionary conservativism? Oh hell yes.
Is it worth getting angry over?
Nah, not really.
For now the full peices will be available to my Patreons, and I guess it's high time I started using Postybirb to create accounts on other websites, where the full versions will eventually be hosted for everyone to see. FA is the Twitter of the Fandom in many ways, which I guess is sad, but whatever.
Be chill, be kind, be happy - it makes life easier for you.
STILL: FIX YOUR FUCKING THUMBNAILS, FA

YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO POLICE HOW I MAKE MY ART
MY JOB IS TO TAKE IDEAS OUT OF MY HEAD AND PRESENT THEM AND I WILL UNAPOLOGETICALLY USE EVERY TOOL I CAN TO ACHIEVE THIS
I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN AROUND LONG ENOUGH FOR 'DIGITAL ART ISN'T REAL ART'; I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN AROUND FOR '3D ART ISN'T REAL ART'
I can understand not wanting GNN art; aka 'AI art', to become a tidal wave of infinite bullshit, but to say 'Oh, you thought about AI while making this!' is bullshit.
ALSO FIX YOUR FUCKING THUMBNAILS

Hey, where are I?
Posted 2 years agoYeah, I wanted to start my regular streams again last week but Life has been difficult to overcome.
My car was broken, again. Psychatric medication shortages, again. Enough stress I've developed a tremor that gets so bad it feels like the floor is shaking. Makes it hard to draw.
Some good things. Getting back into VR and socializing, which is necessary to keep sane. Slowly making progress on stuff I owe people when I can draw. Nobody's quit my Patreon (yet).
Despair will not take me.
Regular production will resume as soon as circumstances permit.

Commission queue open
Posted 2 years agoBigger projects are taking longer than I expected, but what else is news? Older art is being surely finished so that means it's time to add to the list -

Posted 3 years agoStill here, just working on commissions and other stuff - It's been harder to get back into the swing of things than I had hoped. :/
Two upcoming YCHes & general update
Posted 3 years agoOne vore and one non-vore. The non-vore one will go up this week, the vore one next; my Patreons are getting first chance on it.
I hope to resume streaming this week.

Posted 3 years agoLife has been a little, uh, rough this past month. I'll put a summary down in the bottom because I don't wanna seem like I'm doing a GoFundMe for my dour luck; but I think a friend of mine summarized it well when he asked, 'When did your life become a British comedy?'
Anything from single improved sketches for $20/ea are open, (usually minimum 3) more detailed things available. Contact me here or Discord or whatever you prefer. ^_^
Thanks for reading. ^_^
Okay, so the entire sad story:
On very early sunday morning, once again, someone tried to steal my car.
They got it as far as the sidewalk before giving up (I have a steering wheel/brake lockout, but the level of intelligence or intoxication needed to understand that a car needs to turn and stop seems frequently absent), which is where the police found it and had it towed. I found out that I had a 4-hour window Monday to retrieve my car before I would be charged extra for its storage.
The stress of missing this kept me awake and by the time Monday morning rolled around, what had been a little sore throat had developed into a pretty severe head cold. I had forgotten to write down the name of the company that had towed my car, and when I called the police to find out, they couldn't find the information. I had to wait for them to find my car - an hour out of the short window of time - and call me back. Luckily, it wasn't far, though being monstrously sick and without sleep I managed to not walk directly there - a few blocks, but went several in the wrong direction before turning back.
I get there in time, but it still costs me $400 to get my car back.
I drive my car home, park it, and take a rest, hoping to feel better. I cancel appointments for the next day, and attempt to get some rest. That night, taking out the trash, I notice a pidgeon sitting on the roof of the car. I walk over to it, expecting it to fly away, but it remains there, staring at me and standing on one leg, constantly shitting.
After another day of rest, I feel better, but notice I can't smell anything. Out of an abundance of caution, I take a covid test; the nasal swab makes me sneeze several times, and my sense of smell returns as my sinuses are unclogged.
I end up using two covid tests; both positive. I cancel the rest of my week.
A day later, starting to feel better, I have a massive drama blow up with a friend - so huge it crushes my social confidence and leaves my anxiety keenly on edge. The stress sends be back to maximum sickness.
Then my phone explodes.
Literally, the battery has been swelling up, and it pops the back panel off of it. I order a repair kit and gingerly use the ready-to-catch-fire-at-any-moment phone until it arrives.
What seems like an eternity later, I finally get a notice the repair kit has arrived, except it hasn't. The USPS has reported it delivered but it's nowhere to be found - this has never happened before to any of my mail, and I sit down to contact the seller to see if they can do something.
My computer immediately crashes.
They'll send me a new kit if it doesn't show up in 36 hours. To their credit, they send the replacement super quickly. They send it Monday and it arrives on Wednesday; unfortunately I have to use the phone on Thursday and I don't want to risk completely breaking it, so I decide to wait until Friday to work on it.
Guess what shows up on Friday morning?
Anyway the phone's fixed, I'm better (except for a straggling cough that I think is psychosomatic, showing up when I'm stressed), but I need to make up for time and money spent on British comedy.
