Sites I'm on right now
Posted 7 months agotl;dr: Bluesky for social media and random VRChat photos I'm not posting elsewhere, Itaku for videos and larger-effort VRChat comics that actually are edited, FA for audio and art and serving as a landing pad to stuff on other sites. Oh yeah and I guess tumblr is around too.
By which I mean, the sites I'm uploading things to and my logic with doing so. Wanted to make people aware of places and things and the logic of things, because the stuff I make doesn't fit neatly into one site or another.
First off, Twitter is dead, I'm pretty done with that. It functions as a backup of the video-plus-audio posts I've made, until I get around to reuploading all of that to a different site. Every time I go there, their algorithm shoves far-right talking points and politics down my throat, whether legitimately or because it's interaction bait, or it'll just full-on show fucked-up "how is this legal to post?" things like real footage of people shooting each other or whatnot. The vibes are horrendous. Go to bluesky, there is so much less bullshit it makes you realize just how much we had to put up with on twitter for way too long.
Right now, social-media-wise, I'm on bluesky. https://bsky.app/profile/jeschke.bsky.social . Follow that if you want vorny posts or random vrchat photos that I don't want to spam elsewhere. I do a lot of picture-taking in VRChat but posting a lot of "single shots devoid of context from one another" is a great way to clog up my gallery, so it gets tossed onto social media.
As far as art sites, I'd imagine I'll stick to itaku and FA for now. Itaku is https://itaku.ee/profile/jeschke .
Itaku because it has video support and I have videos, FA because it has audio support and I have audio. Itaku also functions as where I'll be putting any "larger edited" VRChat photos I do, because I don't want to spam up my FA here. What I'm imagining I'll probably do in the future is, I'll probably put some sort of "landing pad" submission on here that links to aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall of the other VRChat things I've posted on itaku, just so I'm not doing a bunch of submissions of 12 collections or whatnot. Then I'll make update posts about stuff I post over there and whatnot, delete them after a time, that sort of thing.
If I've got some video that's too big for itaku? Uuuuh....maybe it'll go on FN or Youtube? Audio too long to be in good quality on FA? I might put another version of it on weasyl of all things.
Also there's Tumblr too, I guess. I just post on there out of habit and cause I like sites with askboxes, just in case someone wants to throw a question in or something. And some other folks I know only really post there, so...
At the moment, I'm still slowly working on audio things for fun, taking vrchat photos, slowly going more into video editing, just like.........also very busy. This time of year can be overwhelming. If I'm not around as much for the next month it's because my life is hectic AF. Gonna try to keep plugging away at the backlog of commissioned art and all, just hard to work up the mood right at the moment. But yeah.
Alright byyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyye~~~~~~~*~*~*~*~*~*

Squirrel Situations feedback?
Posted a year agoHey all!
Now that we've done two situations, I just thought I'd open a journal to see if there was any feedback or anything. There's already been a few comments about balance and odds and such on the pages themselves, but yeah. I'm more just wondering, like. Is it fun so far? Are the comics readable enough? Anything that should be improved upon? o: Do you care that much? x3 Is it bad that the squirrel has won so much so far?
Any sort of comments or questions, feel free to leave them, haha. x3

Info/Rules for Squirrel Situations
Posted a year agoSo! This is an interactive I've thought about doing for a while. I have a spreadsheet of encounters and a lot of fun stuff in mind. Here's what you can probably expect from the comic!
This is not a serious game.
I'm kind of doing this off the cuff, for the most part. Percentages of success are just based off my own feelings on the matter and not necessarily logic that makes sense. I'm not a brilliant strategist or game creator, I'm just doing this for fun. x3 If something doesn't make sense.....oh well!
The comic will follow my own tastes.
As in, I have male partners, I have female partners. There will be vore and there will probably be digestion. There might not always be vore. There could be unbirth, anal vore, cock vore, maybe even absorption or breast vore if things go that way. There's going to be clothed people and there's going to be unclothed people. There's lots of possibilities! If you have questions on whether some character is male or female, if that's really a huge sticking point? Then just ask me about it before you place a vote. There's a comment box underneath these submissions for a reason. :D
Squirrel is also equally capable of being pred or prey! If he's matched up with some bigger partner, it might be harder to eat them, but it won't ever be impossible! I have many, many belly shapes on my model right now, and by golly I'm hoping to get to use them. x3
The lives system!
It exists! You'll start with three lives.
Why is there a lives system? Because I like stakes and I like people losing lives!
What's going to happen when all the lives are lost? I don't really know yet! It might be something I collect donations for, ie, x amount of money buys you a new life. It could just lead to narrative implications and teasing. I don't rightly know! But seeing as the tutorial was immediately failed, using the safe option, I'm both wondering if I should make it easier to succeed, and also thinking gee, I don't want the game to just suddenly end if we lose three lives right away. Who knows!
Style Points!
Ah, yes. This is something I'm just stealing from Humbug. If you succeed in an action and there's some way to do it in a cool way, or you do something especially hard, then I'll just reward you with some Style Points. The way those work is, if I roll and you fail a check, but there's enough Style Points to cover the gap, then it'll use up those points and you'll succeed! So, say, if you have 10 Style Points, and I need to roll a 25 or higher to succeed, but I roll a 19? Then 6 Style Points will get used to turn that 19 into a 25, making you succeed! And any leftover points will carry over, so in this case, you'd have 4 Style Points left.
Hopefully I don't forget to include them. x3
After a section is completed!
I'll probably find some way to stick all of the panels together in some sort of PDF or something, and then upload it as a single submission instead of a ton of individual comics. If.....I find a place to host things. Or maybe I'll just do like I normally do with the vrchat comics and make some sort of single submission here that points to the multiple submissions on itaku. x3
After a section is complete, I also could go back and do "failure" versions of things. Because why not. That might be another donation incentive. :D (Maybe I should start a patreon for this stuff, ha.)
There is no timeline for updates!
If I get busy or have to step away for a bit or whatnot, then I'm going to do that. If I start working on audio or music, then I'm going to do that. This interactive is just a fun summer project for me. x3 And I'm trying not to go over the top (ignoring the huge introduction that was made) but if I get burnt out then I get burnt out. x3
What world/model is that?
If I forget to include attribution then go ahead and ask me about it! All the models will be ones that I purchased in a fit of FOMO upon hearing that gumroad was closing up NSFW shops, but also so that I knew I could use them without any question of it being in a grey area. Can't always trust that someone uploading something to VRChat is doing so with permission from the model creator!
I want to donate money cause this is cool!
Well, it's not necessary, but thank you! I have a ko-fi going over here, that's probably the best option. x3
https://ko-fi.com/jeschke
What happens if there's a vote tie?
I can't believe this has already happened, but it did. x3
In this case, here's what I'm doing, for now. I'll roll for both options, and whichever one succeeds, that's the one that I'll go with. If both succeed, or both fail, then I'll be the tiebreaker. That way, there's a fair chance of there being at least some sort of success! If this happens though, I won't give out any style points, cause rolling for both options effectively increases the options of a success altogether. At least, if my math is right.
This, of course, is contingent on there not being any duplicate votes being counted. The site, poll-maker, tells me that it's filtering out duplicate votes. But if I see someone spamming a ton of votes on one thing, I might be more suspicious of it over time. x3 I'm guessing anybody doing that lately just wanted to see the results, though, so I'll make sure to put that See Results button on the poll so you don't have to vote in order to see results. x3
Other questions!
Feel free to ask and I'll answer them! :D

MFF Retrospective
Posted 2 years agoIt was a really really good convention. I spent most of the time burning myself out socially/physically/mentally, and then trying to summon up the energy to continue to function at the convention. One of these years I'll make sure I get myself a room so I have a space to retreat to and recharge my batteries, ha. x3
But yeah. Saw so many amazing folks and friends, reconnected with a lot, had a really good reminder that seeing folks in person is different than the madhouse of online interactions. Like how just because you haven't talked to someone in ages doesn't mean they don't like you, or like hey, who really gives a heck about the stupid online arguments that people get wound up in? It was a really good time for recharging my batteries and shaking off a lot of the ill feelings that have been following me for the past half-year. Not that those are gone, but still.
All in all, if only one could bottle up some of the magic of the weekend for later. x3 A lot of the time, I like just sitting around and soaking up the vibes of the place. When not hanging around with other people, anyway. Now it's back to the doldrums of regularity. x3
I'm really appreciative of anybody who came out and said they knew my stuff or enjoyed it or whatnot. I probably didn't give the best responses because I was so wiped most of the time, but I do appreciate it all the same. It's a bigger motivator than you might think. x3
And besides that, there's probably a lot to say........but I'm feeling exhaustion set in something awful. x3 Think it's time to take a nap before I've got more work later. Catch you all around, MFF was magical. x3

MFF journal!
Posted 2 years agoJust wanted to put my info out there in a more long-lasting place than a twitter or bluesky post, ha.
I'll be around MFF again this year, as always! I'll be driving in/out every day but besides that will be around the con space. Wednesday night will probably be when I make my first appearance, cause I've got wednesday during the day and in the evening, so randomly showing up for an hour and then driving out again doesn't sound like something that'll happen. x3 Then besides that, I'll be around Thursday-Friday-Saturday, then I've got work on Sunday but will be back that night. :3
So yeah! Hope to see folks around. I always wish I could draw things for people or do doodles but that's a little hard, given what I do. x3 But I'll be on the lookout for folks and hope people are on the lookout for me! And hey maybe this year I'll actually be able to show up at the vore meet, ha. x3

Wanting input on what to record
Posted 2 years agoHey all!
So it's fall, and more specifically, October. That means there's plenty of pumpkins on sale. Pumpkins are great for fleshy noises.
So my question is, to anybody that's used the sound packs I've put out with all the pumpkin stuff in there, is there anything that there needs to be more of? I'm thinking like, just very passive flesh stuff, I could probably use more of that. Then maybe just more stuff in general.
But I figured I'd put the call out if anybody had anything in specific they were missing that they could use more of, cause I'm gonna try to get some more recordings to play with. So let me know! :3

Whoops, birthday
Posted 2 years agoFigure I should make a journal about it. x3
So yeah! Whoo. 33 years now. That's a lotta time being vorny. x3 Feels like a lot has happened since last year, and also not. Just gotta keep moving forward.
The only thing that sucks about my birthday this year is having it on a work day where I have to get up super-early. x3 Spent most of the day just being tired. But I'm definitely at the point now where I'm fine waiting a little bit to have a "real" celebration. The moment will come to drop a bunch of money on something. :3c
Anyway. Cheers to y'all. x3 Hope you're well, and hey if you wanna bring cake to a birthday squirrel, I'll eat it (and maybe you too :9).

Journal about the site.
Posted 2 years agoI've said as much on twitter, so it doesn't really bear repeating here, but goddamn the management is a mess. Conflicting guidelines and stipulations and some of the stupidest arguments being made. Ever since they made that "child-like proportions" rule to begin with, it was like, well this is dumb but let's see what happens. Now trying to apply it to mass amounts of pokemon and digimon? Stating that some pokemon and digimon are children no matter what? Leaving it so open-ended that tons of people are feeling like they're going to be scrutinized, lumped in with child pornographers, or left open to abuse by random third parties filing tickets? What a goddamn mess.
At any rate, I'm not planning on leaving just yet. There's still lots of time for them to try and clarify and narrow down what they actually mean, and address some of the huge gaping mistakes. (Like for one, Eevee automatically being a child? Yeesh. Not to mention the obvious "vore isn't a fetish therefore sfw vore is okay for minor characters" like whaaaaaaaaat is that even.) And if they don't? I'll probably do a cursory go-through of my gallery to see if there's anything that needs to be removed, and after that, not sure. Maybe I'll finally get around to making my own site. Maybe I'll quit uploading stuff on here. I'll probably just follow the crowds out to itaku or something.
Worst comes to worst, I'll re-up my entire gallery over on eka's or something, before I get to doing so on itaku or something. No idea. I'd much rather have a gallery somewhere instead of social media posts with pictures.
But yeah. This place is just zooming downhill fast. I guess they felt like they had to do something substantial around here, since they can't ever get the site developed. I would love to know what need there was for all of this to happen. What the reasoning was, besides some mod being like "ugh I think eevee are children and therefore anybody drawing them is making CP". If it was legal, they would have said as much. But no, it really just comes off like someone's morality crusade, and they don't give a shit about the 99% of innocent people that're going to be tossed out just to get rid of a 1% problem.

MFF and site updates!
Posted 3 years agoHeya everybody! Probably a decent time to post on here about things.
MFF is coming up! I'll be there starting Thursday sometime and probably won't be there Monday. Might be there early on Monday, but if I'm there, it won't be for very long. I've also got a bunch of work on Sunday so I'll be out most of the day there, ha. So I'll be around as much as I can be on Friday and Saturday!
Beyond that, twitter is exploding and I'm looking at taking gallery sites more seriously. FA has always been the place where I post everything, but I'm likely going to start branching out to FN and possibly Itaku. FN has a few things, but moreso than that it has the infrastructure for a lot more things I post. Itaku...I dunno, it just seems like people are going over there. Maybe cohost too. Not sure! But I certainly won't be leaving here, just like, I've gotta start taking all the random doodles of stuff I've put on twitter, and put them up on an actual site like FN.
In both places, I'm under the username Jeschke, like on here. So you can give them a follow if you wanna find me over there! But if you wanna wait until I post something like "finished uploading all my backlog to x sites" then that's a sound strategy too. There's gonna be a looooooot of old art to reupload, haha.
Anyway, hope to see people at MFF! I'll be at the vore meet and whatnot, because I can actually be there this time, hoho.

Posted 3 years agoThis year, I actually did stuff. I did sound for a ton of stuff, actually! If you haven't already seen my uploads then I'm just gonna sum it up here.
Animation of Leo sloshing a belly around: https://twitter.com/PredWolf/status.....99620117471233
Animation of a bunny lass on a nice romantic date, she eats the date, everybody wins: https://gobbletoons.com/release/lig.....ide_luncheon-0
A full-ass 11.5-minute animation, featuring 30 instances of vore and tons of japery and jokes and did I mention all the vore??: https://humbuganimations.gumroad.com/l/xzfbc
Seriously, that last one is one of the largest projects I've ever done around here, and it was tons of fun to do. I really recommend checking it out. If you don't know Humbug's stuff and want an idea of what their animations/content is like then you can find it over here!: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/samanthaweltzin/
Besides that, this is also a great time to point out Gobbletown Studios. That's a new studio that Humbug started, specifically for toony vore stuff like in the animation. The goal of it is to produce short animations centered around vore stuff. Stuff like the old animations that wouldn't have vore....but in this case, then we add vore. That's pretty much it! I'm involved with it, for sounds, so I figure I should point it out. :3 If you want to check out the site, which was specifically made to be like an old 90s/early 00s site, then check it out over here!: https://www.gobbletoons.com/
So yeah. Woo. What a vore day. x3 And I still have my own thing to post later! But I figure pointing towards the people I made sounds for is probably enough of an ordeal for today. Hope you all are having a good day! I have no idea if I'll ever be this productive for 8/8 again. x3

Life is happening! (BIG update)
Posted 3 years agoSo it's been, actually, about a year since I had to leave my living space and go live in a few different people's houses for a while. However, after a year of being unable to work on much, not having a lot of privacy, and generally being unable to do much, I now have a steady daytime job (for three days a week, anyway), which has started getting me enough income that I'm able to afford a full-on HOUSE. Or at least, a townhouse. And getting that settled has been crazy, but as of yesterday, I now own my own place.
So, y'know. As I've said for ages, once I get my own space, I can start working regularly again. Well, almost exactly a year from when I last had to leave, I now am going to have my own space. Which means I can start making kink content way more regularly again. :3 And not only that, but I'll have physical, actual space to do things like VR.
At any rate, what I'm saying is, hopefully I can start being more active in making junk again. At least, once I get settled into the new place and all that. I'm moving all my stuff over Monday and I'll probably move in proper next Friday. So get hype. :3 Squirrel will be able to stream shit again.

Vore Sound Assets FAQ
Posted 3 years agoJust because I get asked this a lot, I want to clarify:
When I put that disclaimer on my sound assets that says "if you're going to use it for something really profitable or with a lot of money involved then asking or discussing it with me would be nice", that is mostly just a disclaimer so that if a large game studio or movie studio or something wants to use my sounds, they can't just steal them outright. I'm imagining large-scale games or someone who has a patreon with thousands of dollars a month or something. Something where my audio is a significant part of something that is generating a ton of money.
If you're making a little vore game? Animation? Doing some commissions? That's all fine! Projects that are generally within vore circles on FA/Eka's and the like, and going to stay there, you're totally fine to use my sound assets for that. I mainly just put them out so people would have more to work with! I just had to put that vague disclaimer there on the off-chance that some big-shot people are going to grab my sounds for whatever reason, stick them in some triple-A project, and make a ton of money. If someone was gonna do that, then I'd like, at least want some sort of licensing fee. :B I'd be surprised if a video game studio did that anyway, because they wouldn't want to open themselves up to lawsuits or anything.
I guess a better way to put it is, if you're making a large, commercial, polished project that's going to be sold in mass, like a Milia Wars or a Chrono O'Clock, then maybe talk to me. In that scenario, I'm sure you'd probably rather everything be laid out and secure, and that there's no miscommunication, right? But if you're making a game for fun, or doing one-offs or your own personal projects then yeah, go ahead. Attribution is nice but not strictly necessary. Shrug! Projects within furry/vore circles are all good, and they're the reason I released those sounds for usage in the first place!
I hope that clears things up. I get a lot of messages asking if someone can use the assets I've put out for their own small thing, and it's like yeah, of course, haha. x3 We're all furry types, I can't think of many people at all that are making Huge Amounts Of Money that I'd want to go after. x3 A more formal "pay what you want" system might be an option in the future, just to alleviate people's concerns about misuse, buuuuuuut I'm not really there yet.
Any questions, let me know!
Edit: Just in case it comes up, this journal is in reference to the things in my Sound Assets folder. Any audio I have made on commission is NOT something people can freely use. You need to ask for permission for that and it is up to the discretion of me and the commissioner.

Going to MFF! Info inside
Posted 4 years agoI pretty much laid it out here: https://twitter.com/JeschkeSqrl/sta.....OxMFw&s=19 , but here's the long and short of it.
Heading out to MFF today. Getting in today, leaving Sunday night/Monday morning, I'm not picky. I live semi-local so it's no big deal. Of course, because I'm semi-local I also made the mistake of signing up for a gig, so I'll be out once a day for like 5 hours because I'm dumb but more money good. Have to miss the vore meet though, because it's happening at the same time, which, bleh.
I've got my con badge somewhere in my submissions so you can search that up or just look for the giant badge that says Jeschke on it. And feel free to say hi and all, if you ever even see me. I'm likely going to be not in crowded areas or hanging in public for too long because I'm still gonna be cautious about covid. Or at least that's the plan. But yeah I will be around and yep!

Life update
Posted 4 years agoWhile I'm uploading stuff, I figured I should put a short update about what's going on with me and all. x3
Still haven't been able to do commissions as much. Still not living in my own place. I also had my computer go kaput on me at one point! However, recently I got a very nice part-time job, which'll allow me to both get into my own place, and also then have the space to be able to do whatever audio things I wanna. So I'd imagine maybe once or twice a week, I'd be streaming audio work. Maybe even more shorter streams! I dunno. I also want to get back into writing music and making tunes and all that, so, we'll see how things go.
But besides that, lately I've been very busy with said job stuff (interviewing, preparing, onboarding, etc.) and also learning how to try and buy property/looking at houses/all the stress of finances and mortgages and all that a-d-u-l-t-i-n-g. So don't worry. The silence over here isn't JUST because I'm lazy. I've also been legitimately busy. x3
Alright! Short update done. Back to uploading. x3

Vore Month art dump
Posted 4 years agoI mean, why not really. :B
I'll probably upload some stuff that I've neglected to upload before cause it was gifts, too! But heck I've got so much stuff sitting around, hope y'all are ready for random art to be thrown places, some commissioned and a bunch gifts, hahahahahhahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

If you're wondering about the silence over here
Posted 4 years agoI've been off looking for houses and doing junk for a little bit now. House-finding isn't fun! But that, plus the other people that are living in this house again and making it hard for me to work, it's really sapped my energy to work on much of anything. Can't wait until I can get into my own space again and get able to really stretch out mentally and get back into kinky stuff, ha. x3
But yeah, didn't mean to poof as hard as I did, ha. I'm still around, just, slow. x3 Might start doing some smaller things on my own just for like, ambient stuff or sound effects or whatnot. x3 Probably not streamed stuff though. Cause right now I'm splitting internet with people that will randomly need all the internet for one thing or another. x3
Blegh. Fun times. Being between houses isn't much fun! Can't wait to get back to things. x3 Just wanted to pop in and let y'all know why I suddenly disappeared for a bit, heh. x3

Thoughts/Updates on sketchmission streams
Posted 4 years agoSo far, they've been a decent success, as y'all have probably noticed from my mass amount of uploads of all the sketches from the week, haha
Only problem is, in all fairness, these were less "sketches" and more like, "not quite full detail works", if that makes sense? Or in other words, like, I was definitely spending more time than I should on them in order to get them done. Not for all of them, mind, but for a fair few of them. So I can imagine a few possibilities for that:
- Pare down ideas even harder for people or spend even less time on things (which I don't imagine working, because paring down ideas heavily probably means they won't be able to get close to what the person wants, and me spending even less time on things would just make quality drop pretty hard, I fear)
- Take longer commission slots for a higher cost (which I'm leaning towards, both because a good few people have told me I'm undercharging and also because then I could work on a piece for a good amount of time and get it polished to where I want it)
Of course, if I took longer slots, it's not like I couldn't like, charge less if it only takes me a short time to do something. It's just that like, for the most part, I think the majority of sketchmissions I did deeeeefinitely took more than an hour. And not that I mind doing that, it's just like, if that's the case I should stop trying to do 1-hour things as the standard, when people are wanting more.
So yeah! Be ready for me to play around with that for a little bit. Probably like, aim to do 2-3 slots per stream or whatnot.
Anyway, I'll be doing that this coming week a few times, hopefully, and then I might have to take a break for a while, or at least, limit what I'm doing in streams. I'm about to have people around the place I'm living again, and they don't know about the vore stuff, and I'm not sure I want them to know, which would make it hard to record things. So it might be more like, commission streams but without me voicing anything. Things like putting sounds to animation, or more ambient pieces. Or maybe I'll just concentrate on music, since I have a lot of things to do with that too! Or maybe I'll find opportunity to voice things. Not quite sure on that front yet, but if anything I'm imagining a short break from streaming while figuring out what the plan is. Soon as I get a new place to live, that's when we can definitely go full-hog on vorny voiced stuff, that's for sure.

Gonna give sketchcommission streams a shot!
Posted 4 years agoI know, sketch streams for audio? What even counts as a "sketch" for audio, even??
Well, I'm hoping to find that sort of thing out. After doing a large project like that last CV audio, it's like, all I wanna do is small things for people and yeah. And seeing people do sketch streams? It's like okay....surely I could be doing something similar. Shorter projects that won't take all that much time, that I can aim to do in an hour, hour and a half at most. That's a possibility.
So to that effect, I put out some thoughts on a sheet or two, over here, as far as what the possibilities might be and what subject matter I'd go for/what I'd be down to try: https://twitter.com/JeschkeSqrl/sta.....59890157064200 . And on a sidenote, if there's something you're curious about and it's not on there then ask me about it yeah? I can't think of everything people might want, but I'm pretty open to most things, I'd like to think, haha
At any rate, I was going to give it a try today, but the weather and circumstances are just Not Cooperating. So instead it's probably a good time to like, let people know what my plans are and what's gonna happen, haha. I'm sure the first few times I stream, we'll all be collectively figuring out what I can feasibly do in an hour, or what sort of quality can be expected. Right now my hope is to be able to do things like the examples I listed there, or at least something close to that quality. For all I know, it might be more like "oh yeah, that sort of thing takes two hours and I should be charging more". I don't really know! But we aren't gonna know until we start trying things out, right? :3
Regardless, weather permitting, I wanna give it a try in the next few days for sure. x3 So keep an eye out for those!

Time to upload a bunch of old doodles/gifts and such
Posted 4 years agoWhoops I've got a random backlog of all that stuff so don't mind the dump, haha
Birthday get!
Posted 5 years agoAnother year and still going! x3 Even if little by little and while being all over the place, stiiiiiiiiiiill going.
Actually I might as well say, this time it's the big 30. Which I guess means now I'm OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD

Oh snap, my tumblr blog is back
Posted 5 years agoThis time, I'm not gonna hardly touch it except to make text posts, which'll be untagged to prevent being auto-blammed like last time.
I don't remember what posts people wanted to get to that were only on tumblr, but if there's anything on there that people wanted me to grab or archive in a different spot then lemme know? I grabbed the different links to the alphys alts and put them on the FA upload now, so there's that at least. Checked some other things and they already had alt links elsewhere.
But yeah I know some people have been asking for a bit for me to go back and find stuff that was buried in there, and I never wanted to because I'd have to dig forever, because despite being the blog owner I can't just go into the blog normally without hitting the same "this tumblr has sensitive content, we can't let you look" wall anyone else did.

Whoops time to upload backlog
Posted 5 years agoExpect whatever miscellaneous audio I've done over the past while and such! I've got a bunch of random things that have and have not been posted on twitter, and stuff that goes with videos, and,
Well there's just a lot of random stuff okay. :B And art too! So yeah whoops lemme just pile a bunch of things around haha

Oof, back to work
Posted 5 years agoHad work pick up for gigs, then a sudden spat of even more work piled on, lots of "wow I have no time to do anything but my work today" sort of days. The sort of days where it's like, heck, full-time work gigging, even if only briefly! What a concept!
Anyway that's done with. So I'll be getting back to streaming stuff soon. Oh yeah and besides that, every single one of my gigs or classes got cancelled for the rest of the month. So now there's no excuse not to be doing some streams. :B I'm just like, gonna run out of things to do or start up, I guess, haaaaa
Anyway just wanted to like, give a status update or whatnot. :3 Wooooo life
edit: Oh yeah! Got an audio interface too! Now my voice is gonna (hopefully) sound awesome in streams too. :3 So there's that!

Differentiating between long and short audio?
Posted 5 years agoHeya!
I've been having some thoughts recently. The more little doodles I do with audio, the more I want to like, have some sort of indication of whether or not something I make is a full, long POV, or a shorter fun doodle. It's a little hard to do this with just an icon. But I can't imagine it's the best thing in the world for someone to look at an icon for something I put up, and have no idea if it's a 30-second doodle or a 9-minute POV. I don't as much like having no way to indicate whether or not something is a major project or just a random side thing. I've got some thoughts on how to fix this, but I'm wondering if anyone else has an opinion too?
My current thoughts on fixing this:
- Put the length up in the thumbnail, probably in a corner.
Pros: Easy to tell at a glance how long it is. SUPER easy to tell at a glance how it is.
Cons: Icons are tiny enough already and I don't have anywhere good I can slot them in. Would probably have to get rid of other information or awkwardly shove the length in there. Or have the length in over top of the already-limited space the subject of the icon gets. Maybe replace the (Vore Audio) bit of the icon?
- Put the length in the title.
Pros: Also easy to tell at a glance how long it is. Doesn't take up icon space.
Cons: I dunno it's kinda weird to put it there. Awkward position.
- Have clear distinction between 'doodle' and 'pov'.
Pros: Would be clear.....mostly. Doodles would be ~1-2 minute-long stuff, or things without as much work put into them. Voice + a few sound effects, essentially.
Cons: Not even sure where to indicate something like this. Not like my audio has these strict limits anyway? Something 5 minutes long could be a "doodle" and just, yeah. Shrug.
- Put (Short) or (Long) in the icon instead of (Vore Audio)
Pros: Would be clear enough for the purposes of the icon.
Cons: Well, people might like to know whether or not something is vore before they click on it. Otherwise there could be regular people that are suddenly getting vore, and vore people that were expecting vore and didn't get it. This might not be a huge number though.
Humgh. So yeah. I haven't got any ideas of how to get around this. Until FA gets around to the changes they promised were a high priority years ago, which at this point seems doubtful, I might have to do something awkward like the second option. Anyone else have thoughts, though?

Trying streaming out over the next while!
Posted 5 years agoA few days ago I tried out streaming for folks to help me sorta concentrate. Was good fun and good hanging out with people! So I'll probably be doing it more in the future as well.
Only stipulation I gotta warn folks about is like, they'll prooooobably be late-night streams until the end of the month. I've started having nightly work and I'm often out or sleeping during the day so like, I'm not able to stream until like 10:30 CST. But hey, if you see a streaming notification then just like, pop in, and yeah, stuff'll be happening. o:
So if you wanna see how the audio stuff gets made or just come hang out and help keep me motivated then keep an eye out for the submissions/journals about streaming and all that, haha
speaking of which probably gonna do so tonight cause I don't watch sports at all and have got Stuff To Do so yeah
