...But you might have noticed, I've hardly made sounds in the past while. Aside from those doodles and some other junk.

But just like, I dunno, with vore audio. Everything feels so much like it's been done before, when all you're working with is an audio element. Like. I've used the same sounds before. Varied them. What makes one pred different from another? If you're not using voice or something, there's not a lot to differentiate things besides thickness of stomach walls and amount of liquids and I don't know what. And most of it feels like I've just done it before. Meanwhile, with a visual element, there's so much more you can do as far as illustrating pred/prey that's way different or harder to do with audio. A lot of it relies a lot more on explaining what's going on via text, rather than being able to convey it with audio. Maybe it's just stuck being a supplementary thing, aside from audio landscapes or whatnot. I dunno.

Anyway, besides voice stuff sometimes, really don't feel all that into audio things a lot of the time. I dunno if it's subject matter, or if I'm just lazy. Because there's definitely hot preds out there that would be great fun to do something with. But there's all these other people who can spend hours upon hours pumping out content, and somehow I'm just not as into it? Maybe it's cause there's a lot of different directions I wish I was going with my work/creations in general, as far as vore vs. music vs. offline work. Maybe I just can't commit to anything ever, haha

I dunno. All I know is people are enjoying a lot of stuff, and I can't into it as much for some reason. Whether it's because I need new sounds to work with, or I just need to work more with the sounds I've got, or find something fun to do, whooooooo knows? Maybe I should start working on that interactive idea I had, haha

Either way, I'm feeling blugh. And like there's a lot of stuff I could be doing and instead I'm sitting around playing video games again. Anyone got any thoughts?

I was sort of sitting on that for a while, just because someone was uploading all my Undertale vore audio to youtube and saying it was them, and then having people requesting music-less versions. And I wanted to make them have to deal with the fact that there was no way they could do that. Cause I'm petty like that sometimes. But also I'm just lazy.

Anyway, it pains me to take some of these old audios and take the music out and not fiddle with them even more BUT there we go, they all have links to a version with the music completely taken out. So now you could also use them for whatever non-undertale things you want, really!

Now I just gotta start uploading art from the backlog do ho ho

Because what's better than doing some simpler things for fun and to loosen up with? Or at least smaller things. So I set up a little survey thing to act as a submission box if anyone wants to put some in. The submissions are anonymous unless you leave your name, too!

- If you want any of my characters being the pred then you don’t have to ask me, I’m the one making it haha
- Not looking to spend a huge amount of time on these, so don’t try and get something that’s complex and spans several minutes or whatnot. Besides, these things are supposed to fit in the length of a phone message, so! Let me be the one to overdo the length while making it, really. Because I tend to do that.
- You can submit whatever, just keep in mind anything with specific media or original characters might not include any voice samples from them, just cause I don’t want to spend a whole lot of time searching up voices. But I’ll be saying what the idea is when it gets posted, so people know who it’s for and whatnot.
- As far as my own voice, I don’t have a good feminine voice, so I probably won’t record very much dialogue, if anything. Other things like sighs and whatnot are more plausible.
- Context of phone call is always good. Like why the person’s being called, or who’s getting the message, but if you’d rather leave it up to me that’s fine. That's just one other detail that can be good to add.
- Just like the last set, might dip into some sexual territory with these just cause I can? Or references to alternative types of vore or sexual stuff or disposal or I don’t know. Just keep in mind I’m not super-into disposal.
- Disclaimer: Just cause you submit it doesn’t mean it’s going to get made, or come out like you’d hope. I mean you’d assume people would know that but I gotta say it anyway

Because of how odd the Quest files are, I had to do a bit of a workaround. See, whenever you render out a Quest game, it makes a file something akin to a .zip file, with the game and all assets inside. And you can actually open this file and find the source code inside. But whenever I've done that, and then opened the source code in an editor, it's completely non-functional unless you go into the code. Not the way I've made games or would want people to poke around mine, because code-crawling is hardly as fun. So I thought, why not just give the project file that I've used for making it out for people, then it should open fine, right? Well, not really. When I downloaded a file and tested it, I got errors on every single room. I don't know what it is.

So now I'm directly linking the files, and going to that link should give you a whole whack of text looking like this: https://gyazo.com/5d3f7941014990f1a536594df1e45cd7 . So then, what you can do is load up the Quest editor with a new game, go into the code view, and paste the whole whack of code in there. Then exit code view, say "yes" to saving your game when it asks, the program should re-load everything, and voila, you'll be set!

It's the best way I can think of to get the code out there like how I've been editing it, as opposed to having to have you crawl through the code to see everything. That's hardly as fun.

So as I've heard, the site for Quest, the program I used to make A Day At The Funfair and Pranks And Some Predation (and also the game I'm currently poking at every so often), is possibly going offline when March hits. This would mean, I'm guessing, no more online version of the game and no way to download the engine/player other than someone redistrubuting it. (But it's only a 30 megabyte program so it could be hosted places, I'm sure?)

I don't know what the reasons are but I'm just going to shrug and say hey, this seems like a good time to release the source code for the funfair, since I said I might and people were asking, yeah? Might just throw in some commentary, talk about what I didn't get to and why, and leave it at that. Let people play with it or just look at what there is and what didn't make it out. And I mean, still not like I won't ever get back to it. But I've got other things going, so I'm kinda doubtful.

Ahahaha oh man. Okay so I'm a little out of it because for the first time ever I've caught major con crud, so I'm on Sweet Dayquil and Hella Nyquil and also cough drops and bedrest.

But yeah! MFF! It was really, really awesome this year, feels like. Hung out with a ton of people, met some people, hung out with old friends and some newer ones were made! Although, the more MFF journals I see going up, the more I realize how many people I also completely did not see around one bit. But I mean, what can you do? Next time I go, maybe I'll have more badges to flaunt so my presence is more out there, but I dunno, it is what it is.

I dunno. I'm kind of curious. Usually don't put out calls like this. But because of a recent commission I got, I have it in my head, boy, I'd sure like to see Mordecai pretending to be a Rowlet, in the game. Like an overworld sprite, or a trainer sprite, with possible vorish version too. Or at least the base stuff that I can mess with or something.

So I've got a bit of a soft spot for games and random-outcome things, as it is. Really like using them and seeing what happens, to me or to whoever else. Gives a nice starter to imagining situations and whatnot, I guess.

Figured I'd get it organized for vore day or whatever. It's about all I could do as far as a 'special upload' goes. Didn't change anything but the filenames, to try and organize them a bit. Oh also, once you get to 5 and 6, I forgot to mention the way I started doing the names.

Quiet = Volume was maximized at -20 dB
Quietish = Volume was raised by 3-4 dB and ended up at over -20 but under -10.
Loudish = Volume was raised by 3-4 dB and ended up over -10 but under 0, most likely on the lower end or around -5
Loud = Volume was maximised at 0, possibly slightly under

This was done to keep sound quality from getting messed with by the sample getting turned up too much. :B Anyway, enjoy those or have them to use or whatevs

I think at this point, judging by the comments people have left and the discourse they've had with this guy, they might've gotten the message that people can tell he didn't make the thing. So it's probably worth just reporting them and moving on, don't need to go blasting them anymore I don't think, haha

Anyway uh, besides that....yeah I dunno. Had a thought about putting something together for vore day, but I've got some RL projects that I've been severely procrastinating on that I need to get to, so, don't think I'll get to that at all. Maybe I'll put together all those stomach sounds of mine into packs and put them out? Yeah maybe that'll do.

The vagueness of the AUP strikes again, and it seems that apparently, recordings of stomachs aren't allowed. Despite how many of them are on the site already, and the deliberate context they're put in, one troll's all it takes to get them removed.

Fetishy audio kind of has a bad rep like that for being, y'know, uncommon. So I'm not surprised. Just hoping this won't start applying to my other work.

Luckily I've already got them all uploaded to Tumblr, so I'm just going to cut out the middleman, take my recordings off the site, and put links up to where you can find them on tumblr. I'll keep the submissions up too, cause they're there, but it'll just be some tiny replacement audio instead.

Don't worry, I opted out of the tumblr ads, you'll be fine. I'm just not looking forward to all the link replacements I'm going to have to do.

This is just the first chunk, really, there's still like two or three more? But I'm spreading them out because that's a good thing to do and also I don't want to overwhelm you with a bunch of stomach recordings at once.

Anyway, a little bit ago,  JohnV approached me asking about making some custom content for the funfair, specifically for the kissing booth. So I gave him a template, and he gave back a full secondary/less fair encounter at the kissing booth, for those who're brave/foolish enough to kiss a big jackaltaur at a kissing booth.

You can find her on rare occasion with full digestion on, or if you want to go straight to her you can either 1) save outside the kissing booth and enter/re-load your save until you get her (as it rolls to see if she's there on your first time visiting the booth), or 2) ask  JohnV for the code you can use at the machine to find her.

If anybody ever wants to add something to the funfair, just lemme know, I can do the same for you, give you a template to work off of and all that. o:

Tweak 2 is up and working, just some misc. changes and fixes, nothing major. And the online version was updated as well. When I uploaded it as a new game, it replaced the old version, so it's the same link. Hope nobody's too bummed about the old version getting overridden.

It's still not the update I would have liked it to be, but since I can't hardly sit down and work at the thing and finish off all the bits in there, this is what it's gonna be. No use holding back on the thing forever.

But yeah, go have fun and all. There's 2 new rides, 9 more endings, 7 misc. scenes 6 of which are micro/macro, heavy digestion, 1 of which is willing and only encounterable on light digestion), and a whole map revamp with lots of flavor text to run into.

And if anybody wants to poke through the source to see what was left out of here, in case I never get around to it, I'm gonna possibly stick that up online?

About the future of it too....well, I don't have any plans to go through a do a lot of the things I thought would be fun to stick in. Not a whole lot of pull. Hence why I'm putting this out there as is. I wouldn't be opposed to somebody wanting to come in and finish what I started or add their own stuff or whatnot too. But we'll see if anything like that happens.
