Okay so a while back, I ran the Sonic & Knuckles Collection MIDIs through my MIDI maker using The Ultimate Genesis SoundFont. (See here.)  So I tune into YouTube today and what do I see?  A comment from Tiddles, one of the main guys responsible for the famous ROM hack "Sonic 3 Complete", mentioning that MY VIDEO was one of the things what inspired him ta put the PC tunes into the Genesis game!!

I'm not gonna take the high road here. I'm not gonna walk away and pretend none of this ever happened. I'm going to say, in full detail, exactly how I feel about a specific member of the Redstoners.UK YouTube group. I want the world to know what a little bitch he is and I don't care what may come of it.

So a few months ago, I decided that it would be a good idea to try and befriend the Redstoners individually. At the very least, Sian and Jason. They're furries with cute characters so they must be cool, right? Well as it turns out, I was somewhat wrong. See, the Redstoners don't actually act the same off-camera as they do on-camera. I found this out immediately when Jason and I started talking. Rather than be this silly, laid-back kind of guy like he is in the videos, he's incredibly down-to-Earth and mostly serious. He doesn't let his mind wander nor does he really roleplay or even fantasize. Like most people, he's just himself when online rather than a character.

That should've been a red, or at least a yellow flag. I've dealt with people trapped in reality before and it usually didn't end well because in all honesty, I'm a lady who's trapped in a fantasy; I don't have to work and I have a lot of free time on my hands which I usually fill with little projects I don't show anyone. But I'm getting sidetracked.

Despite my thoughts, I gave Jason a chance. So he immediately comes out with "I'm looking for a girlfriend".

False alarm.
"But you seem interesting."
Fuck.

"Tell me about yourself."
So I do. Somehow the topic turns to honesty or something.
"Blah blah blah honesty is important blah blah blah."
Guilt sets in. So I tell him the big thing I don't like pointing out because most people don't get it or freak out. Neither happens actually, but he ends up overanalyzing things and I end up bailing on him in a tizz. Next day I apologize and we're all cool again. The topic thing later becomes a recurring joke with him. ("Your FRIEND Joe, eh?")

So things go pretty well for a while. We chat it up and stuff pretty regularly. The topic of Sian comes up and I had no time to prepare for what he tells me. He tells me things like "She's just a huge burden" and "I wish I could leave her" and "No one in the group really likes her". I didn't know what the fuck to say to that. I'd become friends with Sian not long after Jason and while she was a bit on the whimpery side (usually over Jason), she was pretty awesome. I didn't see any of what he was talking about. However, I kept my mouth shut about it, both to him and to Sian.

A bit more time goes by and during one particular bitchfest, I finally tear Jason a new one for being a lying two-faced bastard with no regard for anyone else unless it was convenient for him. I then abandon him only to have him come back after a while and offer to discuss things "like mature adults". So we do. And things were okay again.

During this whole thing, I'd become pretty damn good friends with his at-the-time girlfriend. She'd helped me recover from the whole Jason thing combined with another misunderstanding with someone else (which kind of left me feeling pretty fucked up) and she's pretty damn awesome. She also told me things about her relationship with Jason. Like the fact that he was ridiculously possessive of her and the fact that he admitted to CHEATING ON HER during their long-distance relationship. Oh but the kicker came when she told me he'd said they couldn't even be FRIENDS after they'd broken up because "it hurt too bad to see her with someone else"! But it's okay for you to go and fuck someone behind her back? I see how it goes!

So a few weeks later, he decides to hide from the Internet. His FA shuts down, his activity on Twitter dries up, and he completely disappears from Skype. I find out from his ex that he'd actually taken a new Skype name and was using it to only talk to select people -- me not being one of them. What a little bitch! What did I even do? It's not like I was the one who told her to break up with him OR go find someone else to lavish with affection!

Ah but it gets even better. Shortly after that, he blocks me from Twitter AND bans me from the YouTube channel. Not his personal channel mind you, but the RSUK GROUP CHANNEL. Now mind you, I'd been leaving negative feedback on THE GROUP'S "Feed the Beast" Minecraft series during this. But the person I talked to (who got me unbanned) agreed with me and said the comments I'd been leaving were by no means "over the line". But despite this, Jason banned me. Without consulting anyone, without conferring with the group, and without even talking to me about things. The little shit!

So I talked to THE ONLY SENSIBLE PERSON IN THE GROUP and got that sorted out. But then I noticed my comments were being deleted from the channel's recent content. I'd specifically asked a question about Jason's computer (HOW DARE I) because he was getting MAYBE 15 FPS on his viewpoint. Nothing mean or even negative. Just a simple "What's up with Jason's computer?" I tried this TWICE and each time the comments were deleted. So today I tried again and lo and behold! "You have been banned from this user's channel" pops up once again!

I don't know how I didn't see this coming to be honest. Jason it's a petty little man-bitch who can't deal with the fact not all girls swoon over him. Once he realized I wasn't infatuated with him anymore (and I WAS by the way), he got cold, distant, and quiet. And that's fucking shameful behavior that ultimately only hurts him.
Yeah, he's a miserable little cunt who gets his rocks off from unquestioning obedience and total subservience of his female peers. Which explains why he and Sian were together for so long. No offense to Sian, but she was quite the doormat for a long while after they'd broken it off. Now though she's gone the complete opposite way and seems practically unapproachable. But that's her prerogative and if it works for her, more power to her. At least she won't get hurt by Jason again. HOPEFULLY. I don't care what she says, I still say she's loony for him. But never mind.

There's not much that pisses me off than people being craven cowards about little piddly shit and using what little power they have to ruin peoples' fun. Because of him, literally, LITERALLY ALL BECAUSE OF HIM, I cannot give feedback and leave comments on the RSUK videos. Because of his inability to cope with the fact I don't like him, but continue to be civil SOLELY for the point of NOT STARTING SHIT IN THE PUBLIC VIEW, I can't even sit down and watch RSUK vids without getting sick of his ego and hamming it up. It used to be cute and funny when I liked him, but now it's just annoying and reminds me of what a fucking egotistical little shit he is.

My biggest mistake was trying to become friends with the Redstoners. If I hadn't done that, I wouldn't've seen the filthy underside of things. I could've continued to be oblivious and assume they were as they are in the videos and that would've made me happy. But I know too much now. I know too much about Jason to just enjoy things for what they are. That's not fair to the other Redstoners, but Jason isn't exactly being fair to ME, a FAN of the group he happens to be a part of.

I guess the lesson here is you can either be a fan of a group, or friends with the members, but not both at once because personal tiffs with your friends will always superceed group politics. If you're a two-faced, lying, immature piece of shit I mean. :P

Ya know, for the first time ever... I'm dissatisfied with my Redstoners.UK content.

They recently started a "Feed the Beast" Minecraft series. Sian's back in action, which is great! BUT... They started the game with full equipment and a MASSIVE base of operations. Which they not only made/got off-screen, but used Creative Mode ta get. On top of that, they're doin' a LOT of off-screen building so far. And they're running this joke about an old fat lady going "Wat" WELL into the ground. >.>

Now I'm not sayin' the series is shit. But it lacks a lot of the charm the old series had. I loved watching them work together ta build stuff from scratch and work their way up from a literal nothing! The way THIS series is set up though seems like a real sham. I mean, they have infinite power and pretty much all the resources they'd ever need for just about anything so what's the point of doin' anything else?
I'm also not quibbling over the quality of the off-screen builds in the slightest. They've made some absolutely BEAUTIFUL things; complext, WONDERFUL things that must've taken hours, if not DAYS to build!! ... off-screen. The only thing they've made ON-SCREEN so far is a wooden turd house (which Pete burnt down as of Episode 3) and a lot of leveled ground. It's like they can't be arsed to show their mistakes, trials, failures and triumphs anymore...

If this is the direction the series is going, I'm sorely disappointed. The fans seem ta really love this direction (aside from myself and one guy who may or may not be trolling), but I really don't. I'm disappointed. And saddened. Redstoners' return ta open sandbox Minecraft doesn't feel as triumphant as it could be...
