Hello, friendo!

I hope everyone is enjoying this lovely season. I am looking forward to spending my time with my family and friends. It’s been a rough few weeks, but I’m really hoping to have a wonderful start to 2017.

On to the news:

I will be relocating my account on 1/1/17. Anyone who wishes to follow me, please check out  glitterhusky

I will leave this account’s art here in full view—no migration will be made, even though I really wanted that to happen. FA does not currently have a system in place to actually change usernames—but I don’t want to close an account that’s 10 years old at this point. The same thing happened with DeviantArt (except you had to pay to get it changed) and I really regretted hiding everything that was there.

That being said, I would like to point out that I do want to start taking commissions again and I will be updating all this information soon. 1/1/17 is going to be a very good day for me—everything is going to start again at that point!

I’m planning on going to Furpocolypse next year! My first furry con. I’m very excited about this, and I hope to be one of the artists in artist alley! I might try to make my husky character as a Kigurumi to wear—nothing too over the top. I still don’t know what I feel like about actually wearing fursuits, but it looks like fun to make the heads and paws and stuff! Fur is just so expensive—I’m not sure I could do that for myself LOL.

I've been here over 10 years. I would rather not start fresh, but the name Jessiefox is not what I want to go by as an artist. I've grown a bit, and I know I need a username that doesn't have my name in it. Because that's what I want.


Should I move my account so I can get the name I want and how many of you will follow me? I'm so ready to get back into the game, so any input would be helpful!

Hello, hello!

I'm pretty well on my way to coming back now thanks to  inuyoko being mega supportive of me! I like drawing fluffy fuzzbutts more than I like drawing people, and I've never wanted to draw more. I want to eventually open commissions again, and maybe do ych stuff but I feel I must get things rolling here first. Draw requests, do gift art... GET A SCANNER!!

I should also perhaps get back into digital art. To be honest, I really enjoy traditional artwork. I want to learn how to do it better, and i think im not too bad to begin with.

I went through my watch list so my inbox wouldn't overwhelm me when I come in here. So far, its done the trick. I learned there is a deceased icon, which is incredibly sad. I didn't unfollow that person as i loved her art and her spirit.

I'll still be house keeping today, so bare with me while I get stuff sorted!

In other news, I need a new avatar... and maybe its time for a new fursona. I'm going to have to do some deep digging here because I love dogs... but also unicorns. And I'm having a hard time picking between them!! :( Tai and Jessie have done me good, but the next pink one is going to be a reflection of my almost 30 year old self. I'd like to get back into drawing and coloring things.

I've got a new character that I'm starting to work on. Not sure what I want to do with her, but HEY, we'll see! I have to get back into creation!

Possibly longer! So much has changed and its taking me a while to readjust to the things here. I read through some of my older journals and I was so young! So fresh and new! Who was that little me? That young little puppy! I was just half way through being 20 years old when I first started using this site, I believe. And now I'm half way through being 28!

Its still amazing to me that someone could be somewhere for so long and still talk to the same people and still find the same artwork amazing and beautiful and inspiring. For that, I would like to thank everyone who has been with me all these years! :)

I'm glad I'm returning. Because I like to draw cute critters. Because I love fluffy tails and drawing my characters, who I haven't had a chance to do anything with in a long long time. I really love the support of the community that I've found myself a part of and I don't want to trade it for the world.

Is some of this a little too late? Yeah, probably. For the people I haven't talked to in a long time, I am so sorry for disappearing and just being a general butt. Really, its been a lot of growing for me and a LOT of me having to find what exactly it means to be myself. I'm still learning and I'm still fighting to be myself every single day. And that's alright! Theres a lot about me that people don't know, and that's alright too...

I'm going somewhere with this, I think. I'm really glad you're all still here and that my art is still something that people like... Thank you for looking at everything through thick and thin :D

I'll post some more arts tonight, I think, as soon as I finish recording for the day :) I started a let's play channel because I love me some video games! We'll see how well that does! X3 Either way, it'll be fun! If you guys want the link, I'll give it to you now :D
