So NSFW artists have you had aliexpress yoink your work from Fa which is behind a an age wall already? Im shocked aliexpress has NSFW stuff you can view without an account.

My spirit daki has just been stolen and its the NSFW version for some reason and in doing so ive now had the zoo labels start being thrown at me.
I would like to make things very clear here.

YES I have been drawing feral anatomically correct NSFW for decades. This is solely because I like drawing feral animals more than anthro, theyre easier to draw,
And frankly it looks fucking weird to give them human genitals.
Why do I draw it at all? Well frankly it was in demand in the furry fandom when I decided to whore out my art skills. Plain as.
Thats just me as an artist. As for my personal sex life and preferences ...
NO. Wouldn't go near an animal irl like that. I don't even own any toys like BD or EE.

I do keep drawing it as a firm of fantasy and the daki for example was a case of "furries would like that" just because im from that part of the fandom were nsfw is prominent.
I do my best to keep the full NSFW content seperate from general areas, so that fact that my art has been ripped from age walls and put in public spaces is shit. Of course Im going to get in trouble if thats done.
But its not ME putting it in those SFW spaces!

If anything I am guilty of my ability to draw detailed enough pieces that people get offended by it.

I would also argue how weird it would look if I put a human penis on a feral or anthro horse art. I was gonna go with the horse dick.

Hi all,

so lots of things have happened just this month. First of all I was up at Scotiacon! Wooo! great trip, and lots of ideas for next year. My Birthday happened.

Then I got sick. Like more than just con crud. Hospital trip and 2 weeks unable to do anything. Its driven me mad honestly. Right now I still don't feel like my full energy is back yet. Its also made me just so antisocial, like I've barely wanted to talk to anyone and be left alone. Its awful.

I feel like I've fallen off the proverbial horse and am struggling to get back on. Everything got put on hold from being sick and going to Scotiacon. My commissions have been slow progress, its been a big motivation thing whilst fighting with a slowly failing tablet as well. So trust, me I am working on things. I need to get these cleared so I can take on new work. (Right now im pretty broke but I cannot morally take on more commissions until theres been a dent in my list).
Ive also gotta get back onto looking for a new job. I had plans at the end of the year, but it all fell through and Ive had to start again.

I really appreciate the support from you guys. I hope you can help me a bit longer, even if its just sharing my work to friend groups. ATM I have to shift these folders of drawings, so I will be putting those up for sale shortly. I need to do some promo photos and videos of them, then do another stream of going through the next batch!
With these old drawings, there are a ton of YCH poses I will be putting out there. I don't know what it is with my YCHs but theyve been struggling to sell, so Im gonna just do a "catalogue" of them rather than put up batches that get no interest. Im not very good at adopts, I'd rather do YCHs.

So query for you, since I still feel like I Quantum Leaped from the fandom, Whats the alternative for Furbuy these days? I see DealersDen is still going but theres really not as many listings as I expected on there.


What I am planning on doing is: I need to go through a remove 2 massive crates worth of sketchbooks from my storage unit. This is every sketchbook I've ever owned since I started drawing! SO what I had in mind was to auction batches of decent sketches or old commission sketches in collections. Because otherwise they're just being burned or recycled. From the feedback I got at the few con dens I've had tables at since I got back, you guys really like my random sketch pages and marker pen experiments/doodles.

So I am thinking I am going to set up a stream (maybe 2) so we can go through these sketch books together. They will be a hell of a time capsule, lots of memories and potentially lots of drama reminders LOL.
I cannot keep these sketchbooks - the dream was that my ex and I were going to be able to convert a farm outbuilding into a full art studio space for me including a sketchbook archive store to put all these in. But alas, I now need to downsize so much that I will be living in single rooms for the foreseeable future. Why? Read below.

Any pointers or advice appreciated. If you tune into the stream, I will be happy to send off/retain any commission sketches you recognise the sona of! I cant do this for everything as i need those boxes empty. Hence the wish to auction sketch batches off.

Otherwise I guess ebay works? I'd rather not hang onto these sketches for too long waiting for cons to come round. I may take a bunch to Soctiacon though for the auction.

Life change - I wanted to do a video on this.
I have decided to pursue a new life in horse care, in training to be a stable groom/yard hand. Im 34 next month and scared honestly. Ive accepted that I will never own a home on my own, even renting is proving hard. But life last year with my ex just felt RIGHT, to live in a working horse yard. I know its hard work and long hours, but i fucking loved it despite not doing it for long. I am throwing everything into getting that lifestyle back. It will affect my art time, so I will be getting stricter on commission management.
We're a few months to go before I get there though. I am signed up for care courses and have a checklist of qualifications to aim for this year too!
Maybe Ive had a mid life crisis, but I cannot see my life back to how it was with my last Ex, where I was sat behind a desk for 10 years. Its just not me anymore. I am getting a life with horses again and taking the highs and lows with it.

TLDR artist vent and lack of confidence.

I've been noticing that there's been a commission interest crash throughout the online art communities. No one is paying for artwork anymore, even the pros and vets are struggling ive been reading their posts, seeing auctions and ychs go unclaimed and I dont know if its how social media is stagnating, the state of the world or furries only buy fursuits now. I dont know whats going on.
Do you have to be a popufur social butterfly to survive now?

I was hit by a very hard truth realisation at the last meet I went to, that it doesn't matter that I can draw, everyone else can now and nothing I try to show off has any power to stand out. For years I'd been ok and accepted that im mediocre level in this fandom, I wasn't going to progress much more than where I am now, but it hit me hard at how much of a Hazbin I've become. Im old news, I cant get anyones attention anymore, I no longer have the ability to stand out. Its become more noticeable since my break up, my partner was showing me off and sending new clients and followers my way all the time. He really supported me, but I lost how to do that on my own, despite always being on my own before him.
Sorry for the sob story, but im going through a lot. Im on the verge of just packing everything up and have just about lost all my confidence. So I dont blame you for skipping past my page now.

I will not be at Furcation this year.

I dont really know what to say, just you know updating from the last journal entry.
Things are still feeling like limbo. Ive just now started getting to the numbness emotionally. It's been having an affect on my artwork for sure, I'm doing a lot less despite still having commission interest. Im still not in a place to do NSFW stuff.
I just went to Festival of Friendship recently and that went fine, i got my social boost in, caught up with people and did fine vending at the event too. The Friday went so well but things just got emotionally hard by the last day.

Im gonna be focusing on my new job, ive been here nearly 2 months now and im already at supervisor level, so this is a real achievement for myself for someone with no skills, only ever had the one desk job and low self esteem. I am hoping to make a few meets, theres the Cornish furs meets down here I still need to get to when im not working, I miss the Soton and Reading meets a lot. Its just not felt the same without them, but my main goal in the next few months is to try and attend a Cardiff meet as I have so many friends there. So do let me know if you attend those ones.
The only cons I will be aiming to do are UKPonycon and Furcation. Zap Apple Camp is taking a break this year as we just havent the mentality or "manpower" to put it together this year. Its also a stress I could personally do without right now. So we're already planning ideas for 2025 at least.


Commissions will remain open, though I may generally do less or its just horse based content. I just want to do lots of personal art. I am also really into model horse customisation as a hobby so thats got a lot of my time and attention and also lets me reflect offline.

Further update. I'm still very much a broken heart, now we're into Feb which includes my Birthday, I'm just struggling to find joy on a day to day basis. I dont even know what I even want to do for my Birthday - Id love to go riding but im too heavy for any of the stables in the area =(

I start a new job on Monday and havent a clue how things will change with it. I won't lie, Im scared.
Because of this, I've technically found myself with three jobs - my part time job I start, being called to act as a freelance typist for my Dad's business when my Mum cant cope, and then my artwork on top of that. So Im just making this small call that I have to dip out of doing NSFW commissions. Its already been very hard to work on them in my parents house with them in 24/7, because Im living in their house, I cannot get in that lewd mindset to help me draw, and because of my broken heart, lewdness is the last thing on my mind, I actually cant imagine it or have the drive. It's greatly affecting my work so I cant accept anymore NSFW art, how can I do a good job for you if i cant bare drawing other people's play and happiness when Ive utterly lost mine? I will reserve NSFW for the dakis only though, theyre a lot easier to work on mentally for me.

Hi all.

So I have a fair few things to cover this time, so I hope you will bear with me if this becomes a wall of text.

First off, my personal situation has, well my world got turned upside down and Ive had to move once again.... im also now single, nursing a shattered heart and just struggling to get through the days. Christmas and New Year were not easy at all. I am not ok, as I know you'll always ask, I just need a lot of time to pick up the pieces of my heart and try to carry on. Essentially this had incapacitated me the whole of December, which is why theres been no activity.
Im actually somewhat stuck in a bad place until I can afford to get my own small place, but that could be a year or more. I need to get a job again, and this could potentially affect my artwork time and motivation. Im having to sacrifice my whole social life just to avoid living in my car.

So that leads into commissions. I am getting through my list left over from November, many apologies for those of you waiting for your orders. It really set me back weeks.
I have a lot of personal concepts I want to get drawn too, so I hope to find time for those. They will be a lot of venting and just easing my emotional state. So dont expect too much happy stuff for a while on my own. Most of it will be horse art too.
I will be reopening for commissions whilst I am job hunting, so that could be a month? I know Ive had a few of you ask and I dont want to let you down, it just means I may be taking on less and they could take a little longer to complete, but I will do my best.

Along with drawing, Im trying to juggle my time with clearing out a storage unit full of my stuff, this could be a week or two solid as I need to organise, remove, sell and move a packed locker of items and furniture around. If you are local to Cornwall (UK) maybe youll see me at a car boot sale soon. I'll make it obvious its me or that im a furry. heh.
I also want to try a new hobby - I really want to have a go at customising model horses. Its something ive wanted to have a go at for a while now and may help me transition to 3D thinking. Plus my Dad has been spending time building model railway kits, and my brother has his Lego projects, so I kinda want to join in with the crafting sessions whilst Im here.

As for cons and meets, I wont be attending any meets this year. Im just too far away from everything and everyone, so I will try and be on discord voice chats more just to keep myself sane. The only cons at the moment I plan to attend other than local comic cons are: Festival of Friendship (March), UKPonycon (Oct) and Furcation (Nov). Im sorry to say that Zap Apple Camp (Summer) is up in the air until my staff and I can discuss things regarding it. Its possible we may take a break from it this year =/


I must stress, that just because I am single now, I will not be acknowledging any passes or may come off as frosty if you try to chat with me. I have to protect myself, and I am not available or interested in hooking up with anyone at this time. It was an incredibly difficult break up and right now the last thing I need is guys asking me out. Please respect this.


2024 will be a lot of rebuilding myself, maintaining my mental health and horse art. Drawing horses is one of the things thats been my go to for calming myself down. Ive lost so much and have been put in a place I fought my entire adult life to avoid being. All commissions, comments and faves will be appreciated more than ever this year.

Taking a break socially. Just so much going on atm that I'm struggling to talk to anyone or some days drawing isn't taking, so I feel like a whole day can be wasted.

I'll still be working on my current orders, will beat the Xmas deadline for those with themed art, but I plan to have everything finished by Jan.
