So this is a big note to everyone who's on my commissions list right now, things have been a little slow again as I am prepping for Ukponycon and Furcation, ukpc especially as majority of my stock is marker pen pieces which take a lot of my time.
Plus this heatwave has been overheating my tablet so digital work is very slow til it cools down,but I am working on them when I can.

Just a general update - Well Im moved in with Plas now, but my god things have just been so "eventful" since getting here that I've had to put commission progress and new orders on hold!
Im just now starting to get back on them, but omg had to do the move in 2 different days, Plas' work delayed getting that 2nd day, we were both really fucking ill (potentially norovirus level ill), had to cancel our holiday, Plas injured himself again so argh, spent a full week unpacking everything and further downsizing my stuff, and on top of that, organising things for Zap Apple Camp. PHEW just have had no time to be social yet, and no time for me to get any work going!

Anyhoo, like I said, slowly getting back into it now. Im going to be working full time on art until we get to a point where I really need another full time salary job again just to help our finances out. I have a TON of YCHs planned, found a million sketches to update, adapt and use from going through my many older sketchbooks lol as well as some fun NSFW ideas. But lemme get my current worklist done before I start releasing those.

I wish I was joking but honestly, things have been really bad since Jan. So here's a sobstory - ignore if you just really don't care.


So in November my Ex and I ended our relationship and I have been seeing Plasma in that time. At the same time, I have been living as a house mate with my ex as we literally moved to a new let (renting) in October, because I thought maybe we could stick it out a few months so Im less of a bitch to have him pay the rent and bills alone for most of the tennancy, plus I didnt really have anywhere to go at that point either. It's honestly not been great, Ive been in states of depression being "stuck" here, I'm sleeping on the sofa and it often feels like I'm walking on eggshells in this house.

The hardest part though, I never realised how much financial support my ex actually was when it came to the most basic of things like sharing the shopping. Now let me point out that I am on a £17k full time salary that ive been suspect has been under the UK minium wage for some time (only just got told i get a proper pay rise today from next week) but its been a very difficult one to bring up, so ive just tried to carry on. Because of this, and having to pay my half of rent and bills, it's got to the point where I just completely run out of money by the 3rd week of the month. Ive cancelled all my subscriptions I had earlier in the year, ive started taking the bus and ive now got a Tesco clubcard set up to try and help the food shop..... but its still not enough. My ex is on a wage thats about 3 times greater than mine, heck even more, but I no longer can go to him for emergency cash help like this. Ive even drained my savings just trying to live my normal life. *sigh*

"wheres your remaining money gone?" I hear you say? and of course I expect to be called a stupid girl with my priorities all wrong and that I dont know what its like to live in poverty. My remaining money has been going towards travel to work (its been £10 a day almost to park at my work hence why I finally got over my anxiety and started trying the busses...even though now im very much at risk of being hit by a car because of our bullshit local bus stop layout), to keep myself from going insane and mentally unstable I have spent a lot of time staying with Plas, who is pretty much on the other side of the country to me at a 3 hour drive its up to £50 a full tank of petrol for my little car to do the full journey to and back. And then finally the excess is spent on food shop, the occasional "stave the depression off" take out treat or merch purchase. So again, feel free to yell at me about priorities and being weak willed/wasting money.

The other thing myself and a lot of artist friends have noticed is that for the UK clients, the cost of living crisis is affecting our commission sales greatly, but that shouldnt be so bad from international audience and orders, but we think the algorithms are royally screwing us over on socials. Heck I even find FA quiet these days. Normally a handful of commissions would be enough to keep me going to the end of the month (payday) but in all honesty, Ive had 2 serious commission orders this month that were not my quickie discounted ones. Im seriously considering going as low as £5 for some just to get enough to take the bus and get things like eggs and bread ffs.

I feel like such a first world problem whiney bitch that I've had trouble accepting help from my friends and even my family dont really know about the money issue. Taking any form of commission feels moraly better for me coz I can at least provide a service in return. And of course any commission orders are just saving my life atm and greatly appreciated that i wish i could offer more with my artwork.

This is gonna continue to be a problem for a little bit longer, I have to hold out until the end of June, things will be easier, theyll be better and theyll be happier.

So sadly Im not going to CFz again, the day Plas and I went to get the tickets was the day they sold out of even attending only ones =( sad.

Which does mean Im gonna be here taking on commissions whilst the CFz artists are all busy with their conbadges and room sign orders. I am however going to little ol Griffish Isles in a few weeks, and doing Retrowave conbadges and room signs for those - feel free to DM me for them, Ive just gotta put the official post out.

Im open for one ref sheet slot, but everything else is fair game and open. Comic pages are closed at this time too.

I am also offering art trades if you're happy to draw art of Stormy and Plasma, either MLP style or horse art. I can draw anything in return given that its an equal art type (eg: full body flat colours).

I can draw most things - I can certainly draw NSFW and humans with no issues. The only thing to check is that I'm kinda more of a tame themes artist. Theres a lot of stuff thats popular in this fandom I just won't draw. So better ask first.

Hello FA, been a while, but i need the signal boost this month. (I've actually been very active on Twitter and Discord)
Denz and I have been given our 2 month notice to vacate our current house - we're renting still - and the timing is just the worst.

We've had a summer just full of curses (it feels like) just suddenly all the bad things have happened at the same time.

I'll get to the point though, Im having to force myself to open for commissions ahead of UKponycon which is the "big one" for me. I dont normally take on anything but conbadges ahead of it, but the situation is quite urgent.

I can draw anything, except the themes listed on my "won't draw" lists. So humans and NSFW are totally fine with me too.

I'm real bad at keeping on my journals these days, most of my updates are on discord and Twitter these days.

Commissions are taking a little break as I do the Valentines Day auction pieces, enjoy my Birthday week off and get stock ready for Festival of Friendship pony con next month. Thank you so much everyone who bid on the auctions and commissioned me. Its really meant a lot and has helped me get my car through its repairs again (poor old Blu).

I just wanted to just outline what I'm up to as it's starting to get really busy for me already!

So my artwork isnt as in demand as it used to, meaning im more free to do personal doodles or come up with generic stuff to draw and make into stickers or what have you, but that hasnt stopped me from attending cons and expos. I've been signing up for a good number of them in their artist alleys. Here's hoping I can add the ol furcons back on my list too.

Regarding cons and expos, I've moved over to photography! Started off as a casual hobby, but has gained interest and I've started the process of selling prints and printed gifts featuring mainly my heritage railway photography. I'm really enjoying it, its getting me out around the country and my creative confidence has got a whole new confidence and feels refreshed. If you're in a rail group in the UK, let me know/send an invite so I can see if I can come join meets. I'm already doing a few down in the South West which I look forward to very much.

The other OTHER thing happening this year is I am bringing back my old camping meet/event under a new guise. Still in planning and shuuuuush mode but its already looking really promising for attendance and interest numbers. eeee! I can tell you it's initially an MLP themed event, but it's very open to furries or non fandom people who just have an interest in the pastel ponies. Fursuiting and inflatables (I hope we get a small pool if its hot) are welcome. I'll be advertising and updating details of that on FB and discord to start off. Keep your eyes out or @ me if you are interested. It's UK based.


Phew on top of all that Im also looking for a new job and we're nearing house hunting status so that'll really eat up a lot of time x.x It's also my 31st next week argh!

Hey all, so Ive got to get back into the art scene and I'm hoping to get some new audience. I have some pokemon and FNAF drawings in the works, but after that, what do you want to see me draw species wise? I should really do some generic pin ups for prints should I make it back to furcons.


What species should I draw?

Mythicals are fine too, I will also accept suggestions for Pokemon you'd like to see or MLP characters (i need more new prints but I can never decide who to draw).

The only "iffy" thing is ref sheets as I can't so them so easily at the moment due to my last graphics tablet screwing up my settings and unable to go back to what I had. Plus tbh PC needs an update to handle the new software. So hopefully, i'll be saving for a cintiq style tablet that I'll be able to stream with and use new software better with. It does mean all my drawings are limited to my Surface Pro.

What I do want to highlight is that I love drawing Dakimakuras and would be really happy if I had more orders for those this year ^^

Hi all, sorry for the non activity here, if Im honest Ive been mostly art active on Discord and Twitter. I've only now got round to really uploading more recent artwork.

So whats going on?
Well I'm currently sandwiched between 2 MLP cons (just had UKponycon and now Griffish Isles in soon) so that's been keeping me busy in the art department, and due to this Ive not been able to take on many new commissions like usual and have a few left over to finish still (sorrysorrysorry). Also its Nonmember, which means I will be closed for commissions through December as always so I can enjoy my own free time and seeing family for Christmas. I may have the last week of November to offer headshot and sketch commissions or special stream drawings or something, so keep eyes out for that.

The OTHER thing Ive also been doing this year has been really getting into my Railway spotting and Photography hobby. I adore it and its really got me out and about then I also enjoy editing my videos and photos too. Its super nerdy and Im not quite an old fashioned anorak, but its been taking up a lot of my free time as well. I kinda needed right after the lockdown insanity of last year.

Anyway I wont go on too long on that. I hope to really pull my weight for drawings in 2022. 2021 has been very up and down and just generally enjoying being back out side and seeing things again.

I'm doing my annual Lake District trip next week, which means I will be without internet or 4G connections the whole time Im there - for context, we stay in a converted chapel with its own private river bank, in a tiny village in the middle of Little Langdale valley, there has never been a TV and will never be Wifi. There is also no 4G towers nearby, you'll be very lucky to even get 3G. So communication with the online world is next to impossible unless you walk to the pub.

So for that reason, Commissions are closing this week until August. I will continue to draw, work on remaining commissions and art fights whilst up there, I'll make sure to save refs. Does mean I will spam upload when I get home.

Silly ramblings of Jess but fursuit building skills have vastly improved over the years, Im just finding out now LOL, Ive been out of the loop and general fur stuff for about 5 years now and little things keep pulling me back. The latest "omg wouldnt that be cool if I had" a Fury fursuit..... being a Monster Hunter species I could totally get away with her being for cosplay at geek expos LOL!

Ive spied some new modern features I would love to try out but the biggest blocks are money (always been a bad person with money), my health and weight (id rather be thinner/fitter tbh) and we're starting to house hunt so no spare money ^^;
but of those features heres a few things I think would be freaking ACE for a suit of Fury;

- Red LEDs/fibre optics in the eyes and the red skin on her face to transform into the signature Nargacuga demon/rage mode. How cool would that be? Lit up suits is such a thing now compared to years ago, that it's totally feesable.
- Digitigrade legs. Kinda always wanted to try this out, it does mean more weight and heat for myself on the inside though, but I guess everyone suffers for this hobby haha. Sometimes I regret not getting Lyra in digiti.
- BOUNCY TAIL! This is the main thing that brought me back over. Seeing those stunning bouncy off the floor tails! Now im used to having the biggest heaviest snep tail ever, but I'd happily welcome a bouncy lighter one. Fury is the perfect creature for this tail style too!
- Zip on the front!!! OMFG i cannot tell you how difficult its been to get out of Lyra, her zip is on her back and in long fur! so I often have to stray into the hotel lobby to ask for help being unzipped XD

Now a few things I cant decide on because I dont know the build deets so well and if its possible etc;
~I would prefer her to have the hard resin(?) style upper beak, with teeth and fully movable mouth, that's instead of a foam base with felt. I'd love to have the Nargacuga detailing sculpted into it. But are they easily broken, hard to wear or build etc?
~I would need an arm wing expert to tell me how best to have her wings, like how much can you move with bat arm wings, will I end up breaking them? Should they be smaller and confined to the forearms only?
~ The one thing on sketching up a concept that I am stuck on is her spines/mane/hump. If any suit builders can give me an idea on what techniques you would use for it, that would be ace. Like how would you do a Hyena/werewolf/Knoll mane? Just long fur that needs brushing all the time or can it be shaped and more solid/firm? The other thing I would need to budget for is some good under Armour or cool vest systems as I get hot VERY fast (shouldnt be suiting in the first place really haha). Maybe theres now new modern cooling systems in suits? I have no clue. My knowledge is dated from 2014 at the latest haha.

Ive spied a few builders who I think could do her quite well, so I've bookmarked them for future if I have the cash, and the drive still to have her done, but I reckon im looking at about £2k or just over to get her made ^^; what a crazy price difference to Lyra in 2012!!! oh well. Skills and quality have improved so much over the years I suppose.


Anyway theres a little ramble, typing down thoughts. I am curious to see what you guys think of the idea of Fury being fabricated in future and thanks to anyone who can help out with ideas on my conundrums.
