Hi all, I still have a few large commissions, like refs, going on, but I'm about to finish the last smaller one, which means I can take on some new ones.

Thank you all for being so damn patient with commissions. Ive started working on them again, the plan is to clear through the Retro icons list over the weekend and get them all done before I continue with the larger commissions.

You know I was doing UKponycon the other week, but the main reason for this further delay is that I had a tricky commission from the con and it went on for far too long and just pushed me into the burn out zone. Possibly one of the last things I needed this month argh. So once that commission was dealt with (my first incomplete fail commission in years ;_; ), i took some days off to just chill out and recover.

Its all good now, im back in the art seat and Ive got one icon completed today, which is a good sign. I want to try and squeeze in some Halloween art of my sonas if i have time.

Having a low day, lots of self hate and all that, but i was thinking; how do I get noticed by a new audience? Im very grateful for my regular commission clients and you guys who have been following my work for a really long time (2007 you guys, whoa), but what can I do to get new client interest? The retrowave icons did well for 2 waves but seem to have dried up already and I was working on a dakimakura series project, but got a little reluctant to do so when I noticed someone else literally put them out same time as I was trying to draw a crowd, so that hit in the self confidence. le sigh.
Now i dont go to fur cons anymore, my last one was Cfz 2015, i was supposed to go to JFTW this year as my first furcon return, but 2020 happened. I keep getting told "oh go join the convention telegram/discord/group chats" but i cant just wave my commissions open post in there, its rude, plus im rather reluctant to join some chats out of fear that my exes will be there along with people who still hate me for past mistakes and just existing. I dont need that bullshit to come back. ...Personal issues, sorry.

where are all these people with £100s to pay on one YCH auction that I keep seeing? How the heck do you confidently charge those prices and get clients? What am I doing wrong?

So any advice guys? or suggestions? Im just feeling like im in commission limbo. Heck even the MLP stuff has dried up.... ive not had a fresh MLP commission in months =(

Just wondering how many Monster Hunter sonas are out there? This is greatly fueled by my new love for VRChat ^^; I have Fury my Nargacuga sona to play with https://www.furaffinity.net/view/35142471/ (full ref in the works), but the Narga avatar is so popular on VR chat now that its hard to know who is just playing with the avatar and who genuinely has a sona.

So im on VRchat when im bored, but i just downloaded that lovely cute Nargacuga avatar by NeoToasteo and I have no clue how to use it.

Now I downloaded Unity and the SDK kits and followed the instructions I found on the VRChat site, Unity site and various other tutorials and fixes, but I just can't get passed the Publish bit as i keep getting "File Not Found" error. To you it may seem like a simple bloody fix but to me, I am totally lost and just do not understand what Reddit has been saying to do =/

so would any kind person be able to help me out in real time. Either remote fix for me, or Monitor share and guide me in real time! I am a person who uses a PC, I don't go through files, codes or want to know whats inside it all.

I can offer some free art in exchange for helping me!!!!

If I can be shown how to get over this hurdle, then all should be fine. The next step I want to learn is to customise and re-colour avatars. The goal is to get Fury made. (I used to spend hours customising my Sims on Sims2 with the similar tools, so that might be easy-ish)

I have all this free time now, I would LOVE to do some singing streams, but the other half is working in the same room as me, talking calls and video coms, so i cant stream during the day. What I am offering to do, is a load of art trades (once ive got this current load of art done). Might even do a day of requests as Im not expecting much in the way of commissions during this time. I dunno what to really write here, other than which cons Im going to. Im all paid up and booked in for Just Fur the Weekend next month, so that should be good. Will be kinda weird going back to a furcon after all these years, but everyone says its pretty chill and a nice intimate small con, sounds kinda like the early years of CFz again, which I tend to prefer - unless I'm behind a table, then more customers is better lol - This will be my first con where im going just as an attendee and not a dealer or fursuiter. Lyra's too small for me now and just isnt that fun as a partial.

I was wondering if I should don the snep tail or build some wings, havent decided yet. (omg i would love to get some hoof boots one day)

Anyway Im mainly looking forward to seeing old friends and just being at an overnight con again.

I'm also looking at going along to Furcation, again same reasons, to see old friends and see what the fuss is about. Plus Dances!
The brony cons are great over here, but the one thing they totally lack is a good dance/rave. Nothing beats Fur dances honestly.

So will I be seeing any of you there? I'm very good at blending into crowds so I guess, look for any of these: Snep tail, purple wings and ears, blue bandana with white patterning. (I'll be wearing my My Time At Portia bandana all weekend).

I hate doing emergency drives, but ive been hit with car trouble again ;_;

So I have to pay for new brakes, so that I can get through an emergency MOT so that I can renew the Tax.

Basically what has happened is that I always thought such things expired in March. But in fact the MOT expired in November and the Tax in January..... now before you call be a fucking moron about it, I HAD NO FUCKING CLUE. I have had 0 reminders about either of them! No postal reminder, no emails and no texts! Nothing! So im sat here angry crying just seething in a panic state and I could really use help.

So just scouting here, but what do you guys or the general furry public think of adopts and YCHs?

Now i dont buy adopts myself, but I have become a YCH buying fiend. Should I try and go into doing some of these? My main fear has been that past ones Ive tried have always gone unnoticed, even at really cheap rates. The only thing ive managed to get any attention with have been the Date Auctions with Stevie and Lyra.

What would you guys like to see?

Adopts? (I love drawing dragons, and have some ideas for designs already)
YCHs? (likely to have a Valentines Day one coming)
Date Night Auctions?

Or are you happy with straight up commissions? ^^;

Uh yeah so though this con may be like 40mins away from my home, I could just go attendee only, but last thing I wanna do is try and drive home right after wrecking my body and being beyond exhausted, so ideally I need a crash space. Soooo If any of my old friends are reading this, anyone wanna be roomies? Looking to book a twin room as I don't know if I can justify the single room prices ^^:
Would be cool if its someone I know, but in the past I have signed up to "roomies needed" lists before and its been fine (heck I do Youth Hostels, so same rules).

Here's a few basic rules if you offer to go halves on the room cost:
- CIVIL PEOPLE ONLY - Im not interested in any action, if youre gonna perv, youre gonna get a kick in the crotch or gut. (I kick hard, so watch it)
- NO HANKY PANKY IN MY ROOM - yeah this is gonna be a sex free zone thanks. If youre gonna go play with someone, please go to their room, not use ours cheers.
- I literally only use the room for sleeping, changing and bathroom us, or sometimes just a recharge session if im already worn out.
- I can snore, sorry about that.
- At cons, Im kinda an early bird, so apologies in advance if I disturb your lie in.

I think thats it. I will offer to do room signage and artwork for you in return. Youll get even more art afterwards if you behave.


My plan at the con is to just go and see whats up, go full music mode, catch up with my old friends, drink, hopefully go swimming, that would be nice and just to ghost around the con. Unsure if I will be sat in the dealers den yet, I may just see what its like to be an attendee. Something ive not done since 2008 CFz!

New things have been added, out of date things have been taken away, but I am up for NSFW art, just run your idea by me first as I dont draw some extreme things.

I'm happy to say that my human work has improved recently too, so don't feel reserved about having a TF piece or human/anthro done by me. I've got human OCs I draw a lot of now, so Im pretty confident.


Payments are now all done via invoices, so I will need to know your email address so I can send them out. I also now have a partial payment option, this way my prices are less daunting and no one can run from the commission.

How it works:
Say I quote you for something in the £70 range, you have the option to pay some of it as a deposit (usually 50%) on which I will update you with sketches, WIPs and a watermarked/near finished preview when I have finished the work, but I will not release the finished work until I have received the final payment. Once I have the full payment total, I will send you the art and you're free to do what you want with it - just please give credits/link me should you wish to repost it for your own use.

I WANT TO COMMISSION SOMEONE TO DRAW DAKIMAKURA/BODY PILLOW ART FOR ME.

BUT! Please read my requirements list:

- Double sided (so x2 full body coloured, minimal/cell shaded if possible)
- HUMAN MALE and this guy isnt a twink either. Body type I will send refs of, but hes somewhat fit and super tall, mature looking guy.
- One side is fully clothed, the other side to be topless (SFW).
- Will not accept generic anime dude face, I want him to at least look handsome with personality.
- Please let me know if you accept partial payments/installments (coz this could be pricey).
- No background needed, only pillow effects.
- I can give refs of him, expressions, poses and accessories.
