Just to let you guys know myself and  macenziewolf will be going to CFz once again. It will be my 6th one? and his 8th year attending it. We will be suiting most of it this year as he gets a suit of Reverb his pony OC for BUCK in April. I will be going as Lyra, it may be a while before I get Stormy made, so expect to see me leading my pony around the con =3

CFZ Art news: I will not be in the dealer's den this year. I will submit pieces to the auction as usual and I will be offering CFz themed commissions during the run up for collection there. I will make sure to keep a messenger bag on me or saddle bag on Reverb with your commission in it, just come find us.

Themewise, I know its the Mexico Carnival of the Night, but all I have is a Venetian Cat Mask, so I may be wearing that when out of suit. Some auction pieces will be themed too, but I'm gonna throw in a fair amount of general stuff for you guys too. I've been told I'm allowed to but in mature MLP art this time too, so expect a few prints of sexeh ponies.

Speaking of Ponies, I will be looking into organizing a Brony meet if it's not already happening. So check the forums and such on that.

Reverb wants to make sure I have fun this year as the den stresses me out and overworks me every year and I think he wants to make it feel like a holiday for us this time. We may get the early day, but we will defiantly be there for the dead dog party! Oh and Karaoke..... though Swolf, I'd happily do it all day and night for entertainment LOL!

I have just got myself an awesome new job at GAME. I'm still doing the training, but once I'm off that, it's likely I'll be doing mad hours as it gets closer to Christmas. I started on Monday and I didnt not touch ANY artwork. I'm dying to do some Finale themed artwork but commissions need clearing first. Pens and paper are illegal in the office because of customer confidentiality and what not and it sucks. I can't doodle at all unless I remember to take a sketch book during lunch, but when you work at GAME, can't help but play Smash, Rainbow Six and Mario Kart during my breaks. I'm on a temp contract, but with a possibility of keeping the job afterwards.
I've only done a week, but as soon as I get home, I just want to game and watch things. No desire to draw. I've also had no PC monitor all week so maybe that hasn't helped either. I think I may keep serious art sessions to days off only, but at the same time Reverb and I are just enjoying living together when nothings going on.

I just spent all day today drawing and have concluded that I can get 2.5 full pieces done in a day. Because of this, I don't think I'll be doing any Christmas offers as I just cannot guarantee completing them for Christmas. I want to do one general piece for it really.

Anyway I'm rambling. I mostly want to say, I apologise in advance if I turn down any commissions. I think its going to be difficult to find time to do many for a few months =( Bets thing I can advise is just ask me if you have a commission query and I'll tell you if I have the time to do it or not. Another idea I have is to take commissions during streams. I still plan to stream when I have the time.

All commissions are going to be at "Ask Me" status until I get given a proper rota at work. I won't close unless my life is really mental.

UK Ponycon is over and done with, still unpacking and getting settled in my new home and also now looking for a job. So I will be getting on with teh arts again, so once more please bear with me!

Guys, I realise I still have some commissions on my list that need work, but I'm gonna have to hold off a bit longer. I've just moved in with  macenziewolf and still have an amount of unpacking and settling to do. So expect to see some test doodles on this gallery as I get used to the new programs and new huge tablet and monitors, This is a pretty big deal for me as Ive always had a mental block when trying new stuff, im so used to working on A6 tablets and the old square monitors.
I also want to point out that I'm gonna focus onto the MLP art a bit more. one reason because im feeling disconnected form the furry fandom and just never feel like drawing it much anymore, but we may be at CFz so I might slowly get back into it. I know i keep saying it, but im just much happier being part of the bronies. so like always watch  storm-blaze for MLP horse art including adult stuff.

The last week or so Ive been down at my parents place because my two cats, Ash and Misty can't come with me in the move, so they've been settled in down with them in Cornwall. I wont see them til Christmas now v.v
Ive tried to get as much marker art done as I can whilst there, so expect some spam when the new PC is up and running. If you really want an update on your commission, please poke me on twitter jesslyra. ill send you an update photo.

But yeah, no more artwork this week. Im currently on my last day at work and will offcially be moved on Sunday. I will also be doing some practice doodles on the new tablet, so digital is gonna be put off just that while longer, or until Im happy with how the new art looks.

I am also going to UKPonycon next week, so most focus will be on prepping for that and MLP artwork, check  storm-blaze for updates on that =3

I realise there may be a few of you including the group pic waiting for stuff from me. I have a new goal! I'm aiming to get my art backup cleared by the end of the month. Ideally I would like October to be empty. October is going to be mental for me and I dont want commissions looming over me. I'm officially moving on the 1st/2nd, got UKPonycon on the 9th/10th and MCM later in the month plus Halloween.
The only art I want on the go next month are UKPonycon Conbadges and Halloween themed commissions like every year.
Reverb is gonna help me seem a bit more professional for ConFuzzled since this year was kinda a fail. My hearts just not been in the fandom, ive been distancing myself a bit. I also want to get a new job after I move. So the artwork needs to be cut down some. Either way, Ill find a way to manage it. He's gonna help me with everything.

Im hoping after the con I can get some Halloween commissions in. We'll see.

Some of you already know about whats going to happen over the next few months, but it's a fairly big thing, I think it needs to be said here. Commissions will still go as normal when I reopen, but please be aware that the workload may be slower than usual. I'm moving. It's going to be a pretty big move for me as I'm well starting a new life in a way. I had previously moved down to Plymouth, but that was within the SouthWest and still close to home, but this one, though some of you may not see it as very big, I am leaving the South West and moving closer to London, which is something I never thought I would do. I'm going to be moving in with  macenziewolf and his family until the two of us have enough to get our own place. Again this is a big thing for me as I am already trying to downsize and give away/sell anything I know I don't need, including half of my Pokemon and Snep collection ;_; and it also means that my two cats, Ash and Misty, are going to be living in Cornwall with my parents which is going to be the hardest part as I have had them since they were tiny kittens and I don't think I will be with them when they move on. They're both 15 and Ash is really showing his age ='( I'm really unsure if he will last the year v.v. But I have to do this. I can't afford to live on my own anymore, it's also affecting my social state of mind. I find it really difficult to be alone in this house sometimes, but on the positive side, it will be a big step, Reverb is going to help me get through it. I'll be ok when we settle and get things sorted out. He's already been the best partner I could ever ask for and I believe he will be for the rest of our lives. I don't know what I'd do without him. I've been lurking in the shadows for too long and it's about time I stepped up. We're fairly certain that if I get this right, then it's going to lead to bigger better things.

Another thing I want to add, I've been feeling somewhat disconnected from the furry fandom the last 2 years, Im just enjoying the Brony fandom so much more right now. I've not been to any furmeets this year, only had Lyra as a partial suit and only did ConFuzzled and SouthFurCamp. I think its just a way of moving on with this new life start. Reverb and I really started seeing eachother due to brony events, we were just really friends through the furry fandom. And no, it really isnt a phase guys. When MLP subsides, we'll still stay together. Our relationship isnt based on or powered by the brony fandom, just want to say that.
I will draw Lyra again, the Snep isnt totally gone. Im very aware that she had a fanbase, but if im allowed to be represented by my sonas, Lyra is the old me and Stormy is the new me. I'm just having a better time as a pegasus. Snep is still linked to drama that I just want to move on and be rid of. I promise Lyra will come back sometimes.

Art Status Update
-Roo has requested I write up the status of the Mob Pic; I keep forgetting the list is on my Docs page, which is why it's looking bare. Everyone is lined up and ready to be coloured. I decided to give it a theme at the last minute as I aim to get it finished either this month or hold it's upload to September for context. (Seriously Sept is relevant to the theme). I can't take any last min entries as I just want it done now and havent the time to really add any more, but I will upload each roo to my scraps as ive done with each group pic before.

-I may have to start denying ref sheet commissions, or at least not take on so many. They are very very time consuming and do actually start from A3 sketchbooks, I'm overdue a supply run which is why some may be taking longer than usual. Art kit is not cheap!

-CONTEST! I am running an MLP based contest over on  storm-blaze the prize is pretty damn sweet. Go check it out! You dont have to be an artist to enter!

-Conventions
Still aiming to make as many Brony cons as I can, as they are so much cheaper than furcons atm, I will be selling at UKPONYCON and only cosplaying for one day at London MCM. That will be my last one for the year. I'll surface again for BUCK in April and the other half says that he wants to do CFz again and will make sure I'm more organised than this year. (I just wasnt feeling it this year guys sorry).
Also please note that SOUTHFUR CAMP is going to be taking a year off in 2016.

I just want to let you know I'm open to take Traditional commissions for now. Digital stuff still has a little way to go, but I'm hoping to do a mass art bomb this weekend and get through the list.
The trad art is also more likely to get done during the potential 3-4 day stream I want to have a go at from tomorrow. Though I'm a little ill, so we'll see how it goes. Im hoping I don't have to mute the mic =c

Well CFz is over and done with but I still have DevCon tomorrow. ARGH. So I will reply to messages and get back to the art scene once this 2nd con is over and done with too. Then I can have a rest and start drawing again. My upcomming weekends are a little busy though;

argh busy. I will try and get commissions done on my days off though. I've not had a chance to catch up on my sleep yet either, think that'll be on Sunday. I AM LE TIRED.

SO what am I doing there? A number of things, I hope;

- I HAVE A DEALER'S DEN TABLE! I'm sharing one with  shirik and I wion't have any prints or originals to sell AT the table, maybe the odd Pony Print left over from BUCK, BUT I am going to be doing sketch commissions all weekend, maybe the odd Marker drawing too, so bring your ref sheets! I will also be taking orders for BIG commissions, since I can't do them during the con.

- I HAVE ART IN THE AUCTION!!! Once again I have a number of pieces to put into the art auction. The only ones that I have not shown yet are the Jabberwocky finished and some mini drawings. I have no idea if they'll go for much, I've not done as much as I did last time I was at CFz. If I have time, I may just do one Charity themed sketch (it's Bunnies).

- LYRA SNEP WILL BE THERE! so  lyrasnep my suit will be there again, but sadly I have gained some weight since I last wore her and can't quite get into the body suit, but I will take her as a partial. I will be suiting with Reverb/Macenzie  macenziewolf

-SINGING! Of course I have to sing at FurEOke. I have quite the Ace up my sleeve to show you all...I hope ^^; please come by and support me. I'm still having to get over stage fright.

- DANCING! I missed out on the dance floor last time because I just didnt get the hype as previous years, but this year should be a good one! I WILL be seen at Swolf's set, as he's my fave of the furry DJs and I'm sure to appear at all the others' too =3 Love to dance ^_^ Reallly craving/missing the Frantic EuFuria vibe.

-DRINKING! If theres Pitchers like last time, IM SO THERE! Got the most drunk ever off those things the last CFz I was at. Hope to be invited to some room parties too. I know Reverb is not gonna leave the bar all weekend lol Please be kind to me if I have a hangover in the Den the next day XP I'm not used to it lol

Aaaand I think that covers it so far. I need to look at the events again and plan my weekend, but during the days I'll be in the Den and the evenings, I'll be social and dancey. I'm pretty easy to spot.

- Around the Con. When I'm not in suit, best way to find me would be look for the tallish, busty girl who loves wearing Urban Camo and Tank tops. If not the Combats, then I'll be in shorts again. I will also be wearing my STORMBLAZE Tail around, NOT Lyra's (its too big out of suit). I may also be wearing my Rainbow Dash wig, because why not! So the girl with the rainbow hair! lol

So I am kinda about. Prepping for ConFuzzled mainly. I know I still have more work to do on the Mob Group pic (Yes Roo I'm working on it). Just been alternating on weeks where I do nothing but artwork after work and weekends, or theres weeks where I don't even turn on the PC. Trad art tends to get done at work, but the digital stuff...ugh. When the weathers nice all I wanna do is go out instead of sit at a monitor all day. Hell i dont even remember to eat when I do that.
So please just bear with, I do get the commissions done, but just a little slow. Art blocks been up and down on the fur art. Pony stuff I have no problem with as its quick and easy to do, but more more detailed stuff, I just want to get it right.


If youre at CFz, I'l be taking big commission orders down but I will also be offereing on the spot commissions, mainly sketches, drink me labels and small marker drawings. The bigger stuff, just give me your FA/email details so I can get hold of you after the con.

Hey guys. Had a week long break with  macenziewolf we went to a LAN event over Easter and it was awesome! I'd never been to one before. Did pretty well in my first Tourneys too ^_^ 2nd at Mario Kart, 1st with the "band" for Rock Band Tourney. I also discovered I'm fairly good at Smash Bros, even though I don't own the new ones.

So whats going on?
Um well that huge commission I've been working on all month is finally done! YAY. which means I'll get into gear and finish everything else standing.
I've also come into a bit of a money issue until I get a new or 2nd job =/ so this month I'm going to have to rely on my commission money for food shopping and other bills (need about £70 just for the bills) =( Which means all this month I will be working on a "Pay What You Want" offer for various pieces as well as actually offering to take on some last min ConFuzzled commissions. Sadly I still have not gotten round to uploading examples for CFz, I'm hoping you guys will trust me in doing a good job on them through verbal descriptions for now. If anything it'll all be the same as 2013's CFz stuff just Alice in Wonderland themed. One fear I have with there being so many dealers at CFz is that I'm gonna get overlooked and not get any commissioners. I'm no where near as good as any of the other artists there, I've also been in the shadows for a year or so and I'm just feeling like old news. Just this constant fear I'm not good anymore. Which is why I've been doing a lot of MLP art these days.
*sigh* I'll try and be more positive. Artwise, my confidence has kinda gone. I've not even been to a furmeet in...well about a year either. I've been very active in the brony fandom instead. I'm just kinda nervous about coming back to the furs.

Anyway, if you want a commission please don't be scared of the work list, (link below) Just send me a message. It's gonna be on a pay what you want system (except ref sheets), you tell me what you want and I'll set a min price for you (eg: you want a full marker pen piece with two characters, I don't really want to take just £5 for it. I'll suggest something like £15-20 as a guide) Hope that makes some sense. I think im rambling again. x.x

All I've got to say really is that Ive mostly been posting things at  storm-blaze im working on a huge Wedding commission which is taking most of my time and I have the roo mob to start after that.
Im still not sure if I will be offering anything else for CFz other than Drink Me Badges. (£5). We'll see. Been feeling less furry or social these past few days. I've got a few pony commissions to do but ive not had anything furry for quite a while now =/ Just been feeling like yesterdays news again v.v
